quite easy, actually. in 1993, only purple, peach, and red variations existed in the US. in the UK, there was a black pressing.
in 2007, out of nowhere (in my recollection), came this orange hybrid. also, a US pressing on black.
if you have a black pressing from the US, it’s the repressing.
i know the artwork is some sort of crumbled and weathered rock. purple staining (organic) with some oxidation staining as well. i think it’s shale. probably never know!

i don’t think the order number will match the number on the record. (what’s the point?)
note that they probably didn’t start at order number 1 either, for aegea: these are order numbers of the zuzu’s webshop. all previous orders from the zuzu’s website must’ve gotten a number too. i guess they started at 1 when the webshop opened.

i may have read that the same as you did as well, but my order number was sequential (around the 250 mark – i guess i just made it). it just makes me think the #’d copies will go with the #’d order’s, um, numbers. but then again, that would be asking A LOT to pull off for whomever is actually fulfilling this order. i fully expect a damaged or warped, green, double A sided 7" copy that plays a demo version of tarantula.
at work now and before. it was hilarious to witness the 36 minute delay. i expected nothing less! but also annoying to put work aside and have to sit there and wait for whoever to get their shit together.
bought a copy of both editions. my order # is quite high, so i’m pretty sure i won’t be getting aqua, limited to the 50 first people who are lucky to hit refresh exactly 36 minutes after an announcement.
kinda lame, but exciting as a collector. been collecting other bands’ vinyl in the interim. cheap, too.

all good to those who support but won’t participate. even participating myself is a big deal, for me, but i’m willing to do it.
anyway, this is going to take a bit of time to come to fruition. i’ve secured a producer who will film some hardcore fans at the upcoming 8/30/2014 concert. there will be plenty of time to record at zuzu’s and that is what will happen.
please let me know, however, if you’d like to contribute. i don’t, personally, even know what i would say. i suppose that is the beauty of getting in front of a camera and to just start talking.
anyway, that’s the latest. lots of superfans in front of the camera @ zuzus. i can’t do this, and many of you cannot either, but i think differing backgrounds and stories add spice to the project.
please submit if you are interested.

this is kind of off topic, but you also have to cut off your own thoughts or opinions of yourself (the weird ones that are even just a little negative, such as "i’m never gonna stop procrastinating/being lazy"), because all they are are thoughts. they can be discarded the second you have them. you can have a different one, a more positive one, like "i’m getting more & more productive every day" or something similar to that.[/quote:3pfhgpit]

journalists from all over the world are present and ask questions (including journalists from finland, australia and brazil, for example).

it’s a press conference with billy and james. the press is from all over the world, including south america, europe and australia.
i split the whole thing into tracks, as that seemed more practical than one huge file per tape side.

the days before, they had two shows in san francisco.so yeah, hollywood seems like a good guess, but i’m not sure. it could have been anywhere.

this is certainly not my forte. my guess is the interview was held somewhere in LA. hollywood is just a portion of LA, and LA is freaking huge. makes sense to refer to hollywood even though you’re not really there – it’s more of an colloquialism than a city.
do you need the interview in one long track? might be easier to put on youtube. (dunno, really, i never upload things to youtube.) or can you merge the separate tracks yourself?[/quote:3mwm6f1i]
yeah, i did this, but had crossfades (on accident) between each track. so their answers beginning and ending were crossfaded with the interviewer asking questions. it was super lame. i did another join of the files without the crossfades and am uploading now. i don’t know if you can put links on youtube descriptions? i guess i’ll try.
