    Does it turn you sour
    Take it or leave it
    Ignore the warning signs
    Choose to receive it
    An artificial vision
    A sickness in the air
    Feeding poisoned minds
    The ones who don’t care
    We’re over the peak
    Tumbling down the other side
    Find another way down
It will be a bumpy ride

    Shut your mouth
    Open your eyes
    Talk is cheap
    Look to the skies
    Listen carefully
    Feed these fears
    A bitter taste
    To stop the tears
    See the future
    Open your mind
    Sensing a soul
    So cold inside

    When pondered on
    Over a length of time
    The mystery is solved
    And so begins the rhyme
    Forming naturally
    A melting pot of ideas
    A gift shared this way
    Brushing away the fears

    Alive
    The hunger is too much
    Eat this piece
    Just a little morsel
    Tear it off
    A strange taste
    But fulfilling
    Not sure who it was
    Their time was up
    And now they feed
    These hungry souls

    (ew)

Save my soul from the sellers sold out on salvation
They’re gathering inside to tell you about the end
Inside a tale as old as the mountains
So-called good intentions forming in their minds

Just leave this safe harbour for the open sea
Guiding lights fading out far behind
Searching beneath the canopy of waves
An echo of the truth somewhere in the deep

The ancients created these simple secrets
Using magic from before the dawn of time
Observing laws written into seed and spirit
Connecting up the strands of the life web

Don’t try to fill this void with fear
Don’t try to fix it with another piece
This peace is not for everyone
Just let me find my own way

    Packing away a keepsake
    A reminder of a place
    Thankful for the memory
    A little piece of history

    Some things to give away
    Throw away this junk
    And other things we share
Its not as if we care

    So many letters sent
    To distant lands
    Reading back the lines
    Remembering the times

    The writing is untitled
    The words are empty
    Don’t know what they mean
    Never again to be seen

    At their promenade stalls
    Stand the merchants of time
They’ll sell you an hour or so
It won’t cost more than a dime

    But what will you do
With those extra grains of sand
Is it better to live in the now?
To move on with the day at hand?

    The tide is coming in
It’s time for them to go
    The merchants pack their wares
They follow the ebb and flow

As the restless waves wash over
    Counting endless days of never
    Slowly the time merchants leave
    Effortlessly blending into forever

    As the moon sets
    The sun awakes far away
    Rising for what purpose
    To begin his day

All this time to pass by
    Shining for what its worth
    A thirst for the rain
    A hunger within the earth

The moon doesn’t sleep in bliss
    No dreams in this reflection
    Wondering where to go
    Sensing through intuition

    Gliding through the sky
    The echoes of their glory
    Night and day, the same
    Fate lies in their story

    Walking away
    These dreams turned to dust
    All these grand designs
    Planned out years ago

Be careful what you wish for
What is it you really wish for?
Do you dare to dream again?
    Start anew from the beginning

    Throw away everything
    Create a fresh idea
    Something that makes sense
    Something to hold onto

    Not knowing what it is
    What plan to make
    The future is too uncertain
    The past is a mistake

    Thousands upon thousands
    Spread out above
    Twinkling and laughing
    Messages sent from eons ago

    Spheres of gaseous existence
    Sprinkling the sky
    Guides for the ancients
    Burning up the night

    Following their patterns
    Created creatures cast away
Legends of battles and lost loves
    Stories turned into myths

    Following a half-moon
    The mourning star rises
    The night is over
    Invisible suns shine on

    You stole her away
    But now she reappears
A silent ghost in the shadows
A flicker in the corner of the mind’s eye

    This faint reminder
Of all our hopes and fears
    Distorted and fallen
    Yet impenetrable and unbroken

    She waits there for me
    Until the fog is clear
    The daydream fades away
To bring forth a sacred intention

A faith lit up in silence
    A beacon guiding you near
An invitation to start this creation
    Awakening, overcoming, a transformation

    Fragmented light cast
    Making up a pattern
    Glimpses of symbols
    Hidden in the background
    Leading on to somewhere
    A path to the unknown
    A treasure so great
    Found within the soul

Iron out these wrinkles in time
    Stolen away from the past
    Can you keep a secret?
    A story in your pocket
    These ancient ways once ruled
    And chaos paved the way
    Making choices every day
    A chance for the future
    Did you pay attention
    The implosions distract from sense
Once awoken we don’t look back
    You can’t stop us now

    I am subconscious
    I am feeling
    I am real
    I am like mortar
    And like water
    I can slip right through
    Your fingers
    I am ageless
    I am me

Read the news it’s all fake
    Swallow this info
    Does it fulfil you?
As you go about your day
And at the end you need more
    What will make you whole?
    Is there something else?
    Wrap it around
    Choke on it
    Breathe into another life
To see, to strive, to touch
    Just to keep yourself alive

Sounds of sorrow-stars swooping down to barren ground
The centre of the earth opens up to swallow them whole
Echoes of their message go out to those who listen
Following their goodbyes to all that is destined to be

And worlds return as the phoenix rises from the ashes
A paradox lying in wait for time’s grim reality
Will the sun ever set on that synthetic smile
Those tears rain down creating pools of sadness

Denying our chance of stepping across this dimension
A vision of a void so carelessly created
The universe contemplates each insignificant moment
And shadows devour small subconscious lines

Launch a boat onto this river of inspiration
Floating down passing by rhymes and reason
Prophetic harmonies beckoning us on as one
Our origins are as simple as a seed of truth

We follow this natural instinct to the end

to tell you that I’m moving
    and you’re not?

    Down
    We go far
    Into the depths
    Finding ways there
    Darkness enveloping all
    Groping about for the answers
These steps taking us down further ………………………. ——–

Are you guys proud/happy/etc. to have these? Is this a "special" thingy in your collection? Just curious, as everybody is kinda cool about it…[/quote:37dz39ve]

I may be the only person in my country with one of these, so that’s pretty cool.

And it only took 3 days to get here. :)

    …………………..

    Sometimes the inspiration fails
    Gathering dust in the mind
    Thoughts covered with the noise
    Simple ideas left to stagnate

A past sorrow, a future hope
Anger towards all that is wrong
    Pass through the masquerade
    A façade hiding the truth

It’s a heavy weight to bear
Just put me out of my misery
We’ll walk together to the cliff top
I’ll lose you along the way

Did you stop to smell the roses?
Did their scent bring back a memory?
The waves crash below in fury
    Destroying what’s left of hope

But look, a pathway leading down
    Leading to a narrow ledge
Sit and wait for something, somewhere
    Is there anything, anywhere?
