i took loads of shit at school one day and, during gym, had enough so went off on my own – found a quiet spot on my own, listened to BWBFW, and got angry at those people, and felt like i was better than them (in a non bad way, if you get my drift) and that they are nothing – and that in the end, no matter what they say, i am still better. this made me feel better, as if i could get past all that too

of course there alot of negativity surrounding the band, that’s how SP has always been. In 88 they got people to see them because their friends said "god I hate the smashing pumpkins! you have to see them!" As i always say, they are the band everyone loves to hate. So many people are pissed off about Zeitgeist, but if they’re pissed, they’re paying attention. They don’t like the CONCEPT of it, not the music, because everyone knows it’s phenomenal. SP’s main idea has never changed. People hate them, find out about them, but they can’t deny they’re wonderful.[/quote:qg7w8y4h]
yeah – in several reviews (especially kerrang! – 2/5 review, 1000-2000 words, spent ONE [short] PARAGRAPH on the music! the rest was just bitching) they have been going on about everything BUT the music!ugh… i havent heard it yet (bad pumpkins fan!) but i’m really not sure. it may be, may not. i believe it was written and may have been recorded for zeitgeist, so you never know, it may be!

umm no… not quite… the green version is an hmv exclusive, and all it is a green slipcase… no extra tracks
some versions have ‘exclusive’ tracks, which doesnt make sense because at leats two have dath from above as an extra – which is already available as the b-side to tarantula
and of course the regular version has nothing extra in itcheck wikipedia – there are 8 different versions confirmed!

he must have had his reasons… i think we need at least one more of the original pumpkins back, just to make it seem a bit more genuine smashing pumpkins… i know some critics are simply saying it’s billy corgan with ‘his smashing pumpkins hat on’ (ian winwood, in kerrangs! review of zeitgeist)
plus it would be better for the fans too =]
