I’m not sure of albums right now, but I really like these song titles:

Careful with that Axe, Eugene – Pink Floyd

Flight of the Skajaquada – Green Jelly

Medellia of the Gray Skies – Smashing Pumpkins

i like the title of this song:

Standing Outside A Broken Phone Booth With Money In My Hand, Primitive Radio Gods

The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place – Explosions in the sky (album)
First Breath After Coma – Explosions In The Sky
With Tired Eyes, Tired Minds, Tired Souls, We Slept – EITS
Those Who Tell The Truth Shall Die, Those Who Tell The Truth Shall Live Forever – EITS (album)
      Welcome, Ghosts – EITS
All Of A Sudden I Miss Everyone – EITS (Album)

I really like all these EITS ones… they either have this big emotional capacity or they have all this hidden imagery…

Is It Progression If A Cannibal Uses A Fork? – Chiodos
Saviours Of Jazz Ballet – Mew
Eight Flew Over, One Was Destroyed – Mew

And just for the lol value:

Gilded Cunt – Cradle Of Filth

It’s quite possible. Could also be that she named it after the German city?

that’s a possibility too, but I think it’s from the song..considering her husband used to DJ and for the life of me I can’t remember what music he used to do..Never seen him do it live only hear say..and it wasn’t the regular ol club music…

      Ah, ok.

In other news, The Dresden Dolls have a lot of cool song names:

      – Sex Changes
      – My Alcoholic Friends
      – First Orgasm
      – Me & The Minibar

      etc…

The lead singer (Amanda Palmer), has always been an amusing lyricist too (check out \"Sex Changes\" some time :P)

Take one of her most recent songs, \"Oasis\":

when i got to the party
      they gave me a forty
and i must have been thirsty
’cause i drank it so quickly

when i got to the bedroom
      there was somebody waiting
      and it isnt my fault
      that the barbarian raped me

when i went to get tested
i brought along my best friend
      melissa mahoney
      who had once been molested

and she knew how to get there
      she knew all the nurses
      they were all really friendly
but the test came back positive

oh, oh, ive seen better days but i dont care
oh i just sent a letter in the mail

      when i got my abortion
      i brought along my boyfriend
      we got there an hour
      before the appointment

      and outside the building
      there were all these annoying
      fundamentalist christians
      we tried to ignore them

oh, oh, ive hadbetter days but i dont care
oasis got my letter in the mail

      when vacation was over
      the word was all over
      that i was a crackwhore
      melissa had told them

and so now were not talking
      except we have tickets
      to see blur in october
and i think were still going

oh, oh, ive seen better days but i dont care
oh i just got a letter in the mail

      oasis sent a photograph
      its autographed and everything
melissa’s gonna wet herself, i swear

You speak of her as a Dresden Doll in past tense, as though that’s over with?

As far as I know, she’s still very much in love being The Dresden Dolls. And the B-Side album \"No, Virginia…\" is less than a few months old, right? I’m sure we’ll see more of her in the future.

Between her and Ani DiFranco, I’m always beaming with girl power :P

Well glad to know it’s yet not over with. I haven’t been able to appreciate all of The Dresden Dolls’ music, but after hearing Amanda I think I will.
