He’s a Zomb guy, I guess he means he will first rip it especially for us here and put it on YouSendIt or something, and then later create a torrent.

I’m definately going to see that "Siamese Dream Revisited Tour" gigs somewhere! [/quote:2ha7q0sa]
hm I think I missed something… any more info on that?[/quote:2ha7q0sa]

Haha, it’s just a name I made up myself Sickboy, Billy didn’t call it like that. But he did announce going on tour later this year, play only small venues and return to the roots of the Pumpkins music. Who can back me up on that one?

    I second that.

I even see a few things that make me realize I’m far from completion. And I’m not even a vinyl collector…

Good job Dazey! Good to see you around!

No. I broke between 10 and 20 cds in 20 years, and 0 vinyl in 30 years.

Funny when you think of it. They are starting to play the V(irgin) Festival gigs in Australia as we speak…

    Hey bullet etc., welcome here.

Still they are not saying they will keep on releasing on the CD platform. I would hate to only have downloadable files (which are in lower quality also these days). Next to CD, fine, but not digital-only please.

I would never be able again to show off with my Smashing Pumpkins music collection, can you imagine?

 (<= Arthur, ex-collector, still huge fan of the music, but in need of a therapy)

I’m here to surprise you or annoy you (take an option) with my alternative taste. Besides, I also disagree with you 2 guys. In my parallel universe this video rocks, is extremely cool, and is very underrated by the audience in general. Realizing this, I’m enjoying it even more now. 8)

I finally found a genuine DVD release of the video for The End Is The Beginning Is The End. And it was fucken’ easy after all… It’s on a Special Edition 2DVD of the Batman & Robin movie. It’s between the bonus material, which also contains 4 videos. And… I only paid € 8,50 for it. Boy, I’m happy! I love that song and the video to it. 8)

    Continued:

The Pumpkins are demanding, as the suit states, \"a full and complete accounting of all funds received by Virgin pursuant to the Pepsi promotion\" and the band is \"entitled to an award of punitive damages against Virgin in an amount according to proof.\" The suit maintains that \"Virgin’s action, unless and until enjoined and restrained by order of this Court, will cause great and irreparable injury to Plaintiff, as it continues to falsely attribute Plaintiff’s sponsorship and/or affiliation with the promotion, and continues to provide Plaintiff’s musical works at a price below the market value of the works, thereby damaging Plaintiff’s reputation and reducing the market value of Plaintiff’s musical works.\"

Says Billy Corgan: \"’It’s a frustrating situation honestly, to be treated so poorly by a label where we had so much success. Recently, they have ignored our pleas to give our fans special editions of our old albums, telling us they weren’t interested. So there is a tremendous amount of hypocrisy involved with them turning around and using us like this.\" \"It’s another desperate attempt,\" says Jimmy Chamberlin, \"by an anachronistic business to generate revenue however they can, legal or illegal. They have neither the wisdom to accept their irrelevance, nor the intelligence to do something about it.\" He adds: \"Just goes to show that they will do about anything for money. Seems they have long forgotten how to actually ‘work’ for a dollar.\"

The Pumpkins, who last year released the gold-certified Zeitgeist album on Martha’s Music/Reprise, are currently on tour in Australia. The band has created one of the most acclaimed bodies of work in music history. Formed in Chicago in 1988, they released Gish, their influential (and platinum) debut in 1991, which was followed by more platinum and multi-platinum albums including the nine-times platinum Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness and the four-times platinum Siamese Dream. The pivotal group’s many hits include \"Disarm,\" \"Today,\" \"Cherub Rock,\" \"1979,\" \"Tonight, Tonight\" and \"Bullet With Butterfly Wings\"-songs that defined the alternative music era and continue to resonate on modern rock radio, influencing a whole new generation.

It’s not the biggest claw that make a fine and tasty lobster. And Japanese gals are tiny creatures anyway, so they should know better. Right? Those that leave you are silly, to say the least.
