@pcorgan: yeah, very curious to see that, I have never seen/heard about Adore reissue promo CDs like you described.
My latest arrival (thanks to Geo) is a Westwood One radio CD (most likely) containing a 2000 live gig. Not sure yet which date/venue it was recorded, however it might be helpful for further research that I heard James Iha making a silly joke between The Everlasting Gaze and Stand Inside Your Love:
“Are you having a reasonable rock time?”
Audience: “Yeah!!!”
“Sorry about that.”
Geo found an All Areas promo which I don’t have yet, but I grabbed a Japanese promo compilation with Being Beige. Since CDs are becoming less and less the preferred marketing tool it becomes harder to find these promos.
Mellon Collie UK promo 2CD. Nothing special, just the normal release with a few promo stickers. Not on SPfreaks yet though, as far as I know.

meanwhile I grabbed a Japanese promo cd with Being Beige, a Japanese Monuments promo album and a Siamese Singles box set.
I managed to obtain a Drum+Fife cardsleeve promo, I think it’s an UK promo, or EU promo, since I’ve seen them on offer in NL too. These CD promos have become quite pricy since the Teargarden era, I noticed. They must be getting rarer and rarer, I presume. I heard the Drum+Fife US tour promo was only released by BMG in a really limited batch of 200 copies only!
Close to landing a rare Taiwanese Rockthology DVD with band interview and Siva clip.
edit: with $45 it was too expensive for me. 🙁

Where was that available, how did we know it, and how much did they ask for it? Not that I would have bought a copy, but I’m just curious how such things go…
Same here. And it is hard to miss out on a copy lately, because there are several more on eBay currently.
Yeah this part of the discussion was extremely interesting. Billy Corgan/SP could have released 2 or 3 extra albums in the Adore era; there was so much quality material to go by!
Sven, good luck creating those tracklists, I’m highly interested to see what you make of that.
Due to several last minute cancellations and no-shows, we were with 3 (!) fans together only… Milan, Sven and the undersigned. But we enjoyed it very much nevertheless! We gathered in an old building very close to Rotterdam Central Station which is nominated to be demolished next year (still some companies use parts of the building) and that gave a somewhat spooky but also great atmosphere while listening to almost everything that the Adore reissue box has to offer.
To cut a long story short: a great day, which deserved more people to join in.
I’m sure that if this was an Aegea Listening Party, more people would’ve found time & money to attend.

Pretty awesome Geo! However, there’s one killer Adore-era promo cd missing: En Concierto En Mexico.
(I know it was in the frame, if I remember well it was the exact center piece)
This is the live concert of the Adore reissue release. I think it’s pretty epic.
