ArthurSpectatorMe too actually. See this video of Death From Above (piano only), it gives you the shivers. At least it did with me.

ArthurSpectatorI have never been able to find any songs by The Marked. Any ideas?[/quote:uf8jxtfv]
The best place to go is here:http://rspaa.niluje.net/data/Demos/Pre-Pumpkins/
All known Marked songs are in there.
ArthurSpectatorAnyone know where I can obtain this? I has not only DFA, but also Zeitgeist on it. I think it is a NL release, but I’m not sure. Anyone have any information?[/quote:zu4y1rfk]
Nope, not available in NL I’m afraid. There were rumours they should be available in NL too, but that was cancelled/deleted before the releasedate. They come from Scandinavia if I’m right, and should still be available there. I think I have tracked 1 in a shop in Amsterdam that will import it for me for â¬5,-. I’ve seen 1 or 2 on eBay too.2007.07.23 at 5:42 pm in reply to: For the freakin’ country collectors: Zeitgeist CD by country #2502
ArthurSpectatori just made scans of all my copies that aren’t on the site yet. the canadian one is included. it’s a 12-track red cover. the red is a bit brownish if you compare it to the other red covers (eu or japan, for example). i’ll mail them to you later today.[/quote:yo5o1je0]
Thanks, they are being uploaded as we speak. Meanwhile we found the red South Korean release also. I have added a promo section also, as they appear also more and more. Japan and US for a start.
ArthurSpectatorUpdate: both songs are not really new, my mistake was I thougt Jazzin was a Pumpkins song. It turned out to be Starchildren song! It is available here:
http://rspaa.niluje.net/data/Miscellane … 20Friends/
and Hippy Trippy was known by these studio notes also already, new thing is that there is a cassette containing that song. Only thing I can tell now is that it was last seen in Chicago in 2000.
Thanks to 1 of our contributors I could figure this out. Thanks mate!

ArthurSpectatorThanks, list above is updated according your information and some things I found out myself.
ArthurSpectatorhttp://tinyurl.com/2y5cgm familiar much? there is a chance, however, that you are already aware how to get to it without the link i have supplied then, again, you may not and will instead appreciate it[/quote:2qwpkg2o]
Superlord, I have to thank you. When I read your post and followed the link, it provided me with some nice material for the Virtual Music section. This is to be found here:http://www.spfreaks.com/?page=COLLINDEX&cat=19 (click on the pics to enter the description page)
I have not uploaded all of it yet, but you get a good impression already. Thanks again, pretty cool research!
ArthurSpectatorc’n i have one? [/quote:1826wdjh]
Sure. Got something in exchange? But I might have to send it back anyway to get a refund, let’s see. When they keep on sending special editions for free, I’ll topic a little contest here for people to win this free copy!
ArthurSpectatorthere never was a dvd – it was a mistake on amazons part[/quote:1pvt8ulf]
I believe you. Received today: another special book edition. For free. Complained again however.
ArthurSpectatorThat’s way too much, but 100 US$ seems not so bad. Thanks BleedingTheOrchid, for your kind offer. Let’s see.
ArthurSpectatorI came across a few things already. See above. It seems we have found a complete new category for the collection. I will call it Downloads/Streams or something like that. Please post more here if you find new releases, or new sites that have it. Thanks.
ArthurSpectatorAgain Superlordspamulon, many thanks for your hard work for this site/forum. However, what I meant were the OFFICIAL downloads, the ones you most probably have to pay for. On other topics they talked about Rarities and B-sides for example, which is download only. Where can we find these downloads, which websites, what prices? Link them. And where is Gish, Siamese Dream, Zeitgeist etc. for download? Link them on here! I will make sure we create another section in the COLLECTION department called Downloads (Official) and upload all found releases on there. Thank you!
ArthurSpectatorYou’re lucky BleedingTheOrchid. I’m looking for that vinyl also. It’s not widely available and it tends to be expensive also most of the times. I saw it go on eBay once for 50-60 bucks, the buyer had his lucky day I guess.
2007.07.11 at 6:42 pm in reply to: rarities & b-sides (download only) is that a sp \"release\"? #2194
ArthurSpectatorBut, I really think they should somehow be classified as official releases.[/quote:n78b5p8d]
This is a pretty cool topic with an in-depth discussion, to my opinion. We might consider reserving a page on http://www.SPfreaks.com for each individual downloadable release. I will create another topic where you can post all Smashing Pumpkins releases that are officially (!) available as a download.
ArthurSpectatorIt’s not a secret who are running these websites. We are with a core team of 4 people:
SPfreaks the webmaster of the forum from the US
RedWolf the builder of this beautiful all from NL
1 person on the Advisory Board, heavily involved in worldwide radio/tv and other media, also from NL
me, the only remaining founder from NL, webmaster of the collectionNext to that we have a growing group of people that is doing research, send in scans, info, artwork and news. They come from all over the place. Most of them are on the Hall Of Fame of http://www.SPfreaks.com, some wish to remain anonymous.
I’m very proud that you like this \"Smashing Pumpkins freaks Internet Experience\" (quote from RedWolf). Spread the word so we will have a great community on here!
See you again soon,
Arthur
ArthurSpectatorbtw, would you like full scans from tarantula?[/quote:h2tdsveh]
Yeah please! Could you create a new post here for all Tarantula versions wanted (scans, info etc?) and keep an eye on that one? Then you’re hired!
ArthurSpectatoroh cool will do
btw, check this out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeitgeist_ … s_album%29
it has all the covers for all 9 (now – was 8, but now 9 ) versions, and extras for each. but its only got the covers, not the backs etc.
so i will get the full scans for you in a couple of days [/quote:2ex2mfro]
Great! You better watch out, I might want to hire you as a SPfreaks researcher! That wikipedia link provides pretty comprehensive information, I had not seen it before.
ArthurSpectatorof course i m getting one! i’m gonna try and get the special edition, but i may end up just getting the green slipcase edition from hmv. hah, it all depends on what my mum does (im in school when it’s released, so my mum’s gonna go and get it for me… fuck i’m only 15!)
the best buy sticker may just have been a mistake – added where-ever they’re all being printed, and put on accidentally. possibly.[/quote:2zoxsqdt]
You could be right about the sticker indeed, let’s wait for somebody to send in the Best Buy version. Could you scan your hmv version (front, back, cd) and send it to our website? Email to @spfreaks.com">spf-contact@spfreaks.com then.I’ll make sure, when it’s a different version (which I believe it is), it will get it’s own upload and your name in the Hall Of Fame, our contributors section. Would be great.
ArthurSpectatorYup you’re right about the single I guess, UK only. But that Best Buy (which is supposed to have their own limited/exclusive release I believe) version bothers me, as the sticker is on the Amazon CD. I confuses me… Are you buying any Zeitgeists yourself so we can compare? Thanks for your help.
