Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorDo we as collectors keep in mind ANY sense of inherent musical value???[/quote:3hrt9wau]
I don’t really do.For me the two – collecting and the music itself – are almost entirely separate things.
Right now I don’t really care about the new Pumpkins music – I don’t even listen to it – but I can still enjoy collecting the different releases. The game stays the same: finding out what the different releases are, and trying to find a copy. Fun times. If a release has music that can’t be found anywhere else, the value increases for me. But this is not related to the quality of the music.
On the other hand, it’s always a favourite piece of music, an album I really like, that gets me into collecting mode. That’s what happened with the Pumpkins and with many other bands.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoroh, i’ve seen the same thing on eil.com. i agree that that decreases the value.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorthe last year or so, they all went for rather cheap. the value just dropped suddenly. i think the last copy i bought was even cheaper than $36.
which is a shame, because i have a couple of these, and i did pay about $100 for the most expensive one. i’ll never get that much for my copy again.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoris the watermarked cd sealed?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorthe thing is though, if you go to a festival for a couple of days, and you don’t spend your time passed out somewhere in the field, you can easily see 20 gigs.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoror earlier.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatori bought the wwmm promo on eil.com for £12.99 two days ago.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorhe’s not that old. i think he’s about 20.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatori have asked redbull from to look at your question.
best place to upload it is probably the .
how to transfer the recording from minidisc to flac? i don’t know. i hope redbull can help. can you, redbull?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorafter a long time i tried ebay again. i got a brazilian machina cd.
i almost thought it’d be lost again, ’cause it took two weeks in the mail.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorVery interesting. Well done spotting that. I also had a copy of this without realising it.
It looks very similar to the US version. Differences: the Virgin Canada logo on the front of the cd, and then in the matrix code: the IFPI code \"1F08\", and \"CA 1-1-4\" (or whatever variation of CA 1-1-x you have). I think that’s it.
This should be added to the collection.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatori think it’s very likely that these recordings are already out there, but then without the CD>MD>CD step in their lineage.
what kind of cds did you copy these recordings from? \"commercial\" bootlegs, with silver bottoms and artwork? or cd-rs?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorthat looks lovely, arthur. i hope you don’t have to work too hard, and that you can really enjoy your stay there.

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorwhere do you live?
what exact show is it? what’s the date?
can you find it on the splra.org wiki? http://www.splra.org/wiki/index.php?title=SPTours
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatoryeah, flac frontend also has the option to decode through errors.
of course ignoring errors when decoding flacs is not ideal. normally you should never ever do that.
but since these files are all we have, it’s that or nothing. so yeah.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorWhat do you mean with \"SP follow suit\"? Do you want a similar project amongst SP fans, or should SP also provide soundboard audio for fanmade dvds?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatori have no idea.
i always thought that there were just two kinds of 7 inches. but now you’re telling me that all 7 inches are born with a small hole, and that they can push the middle bit out and make it a 7 inch with a larger hole. and that you can buy a small hole 7 inch and make it a large hole one yourself at home. a certain 7 inch hole pusher tool is mentioned.
this is all new to me.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorThese are the original files from the first download at Netphoria. I’m not sure if somebody has Flac-files without the checksum-error.[/quote:2509t4uq]
the "leak" contained the flac files with the errors. so the errorfree files aren’t out there.but i believe it’s possible to decode through the errors (ignore them), and that you won’t hear it in the result.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorI’m with Thom here. It’s very easy to punch out the centre to make this. [/quote:xhk1f12n]
But wouldn’t you damage the label if you try to do this? Or do you believe the result of doing this yourself can look like the scans on spfreaks.com?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorHere is a cassette I picked up a couple of months ago. I will email scans for the website. I think its cool because it’s from the UAE (United Arab Emirates); they deleted "of God" from the title and photoshopped out the people.[/quote:it5r0z9z]
wow, they’re even stricter than in indonesia. there they just photoshopped some clothes onto the naked people.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorI just picked this up:

I hope it is as rare as our site says.[/quote:2cen8ehi]
very impressive. i had never heard about this misprint.do you think it’s easy to fake/emulate this misprint if you have the normal 7"?
i personally don’t think it is, but i wonder what your opinion is.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorI did.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorit was fine. we went to munich from thursday until monday. weather wasn’t perfect all the time, but we had nice moments. i drank liters and liters of beer. and i met up with my aunt and uncle who live there. i hadn’t seen them in 13 years.
