Cool As Ice CreamSpectatornot really. i like to read and i read everything i see, including the milk box. but i’m not really reading much books lately. and most of the books i read are by the same author.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorI read that book when I was a kid (it was translated in Dutch). And later I watched the movie.
I thought that was an awesome book. I read a couple of other books from the same author afterwards. I was such a big reader when I was little.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorThat’s not \"near mint\". Look at that booklet.
Gah!
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorI called it Zeitgeist anyway: it is a 1 track album promo, not a single promo.[/quote:2by3ukep]
I agree.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorGet a room, you two!
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorIt’s just a guess, but I would say they made a couple of hundred of these. Maybe a couple of thousand, seeing that this is a worldwide release.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorIt’s a unique number for every cd, but I’m fairly certain that it has nothing to do with how many copies were made. The number is related to the unique watermark.
I recently saw another copy of the TFE watermarked cd with the number 700-something. In combination with the numbers 7,000-something and 11,000-something, this basically proves that the number has nothing to do with amount of copies produced. Agree?
Any other promo copies of Zeitgeist (e.g. the UK promo) aren’t watermarked, so they don’t carry a similar number.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorTalking about comics, this would be my style of humour.[/quote:onjxd5eo]
I think that only works with pictures.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorJust wondering… They say the Tour Package on CD is 23 shows, but when I count the list… it’s 24 shows?[/quote:11zpikss]
First it was 23 shows. The Tour Package was already available then, and that’s when you bought it. (Well, your employer did.)Then they had problems recording one show (16 November), one show got rescheduled (Auditorium Theatre II – this doesn’t affect the number of shows, I know, but I’m mentioning it anyway, to be complete), and they added two more shows (Ogden Theatre and Aragon Ballroom).
That makes 24 shows. Not sure if you get all 24 if you bought the Tour Package. I guess so, but maybe you should send them an email and ask.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatori hadn’t heard of it either.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorMissing is my UK Machina II promo set, Live Bercy 2D FR promo, and my Zeitgeist UK album promo.[/quote:tpt5xx28]
doesn’t that second to last cd look like the zeitgeist uk promo?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorsometimes \"chop em out\" is mentioned as \"reference cd\". what is a reference cd? can a reference cd be a promo, or is it a completely different thing?
and is/was there such a thing as a reference cassette? because indeed some of the google results point to cassettes.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorI googled \"Chop Em Out\" (mentioned on the front insert) and apparently that is or used to be a studio or something audio related in London. I think this cd was made by Chop Em Out while doing some work on the Rocket 7\" release. (mixing? mastering?)

Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorWith this rare, most probably 1 of a kind, UK acetate/test pressing popping up in 2008, it seems that Rocket was intended in this country as a single. To be released on 1993/12/28, as the sticker implies. It turned out that Rocket was only released in Australia. Some promos for Rocket are also known, coming from Spain and the US.[/quote:3oy6bdej]
I agree with Thom.
The ID suggests that this has something to do with the 7\". A cd release would have gotten an different release code.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorI made those at the time when Billy had his light blue blog website (billycorgan.com?) and he was posting blogs about praying to Mary while recording Mary Star of the Sea and how Mary saved his life.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorI made these a couple of years ago: <<>>
Cool As Ice CreamSpectator[/quote:38dr0ipn]
Is the lower edge straight or not? It doesn’t look straight. Any chance someone cut this cover out of something bigger? Can you figure out why that white sticker is there, by the way? Can you see if the white sticker on the back is covering up some text?
Is the cover made out of one piece of card, or are they two separate pieces of paper (front and back)?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorThat does help! If it says 1994 and it doesn’t look like the official 1994 one on spfreaks.com, it’s easy: fake.
Real one: http://www.spfreaks.com/default.aspx?pa … S&item=284
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorI can’t find this one on the SPFreaks database… Perhaps Arthur can add it
(from my collection)

Wow! The CD-R promo (or master?) of the 7" single. Kewl!
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorI believe the band was not very happy with this remix. I think I read that in an interview somewhere, but I can’t find it anymore.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorPoint me.
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorThat’s the 1979 Moby Mix. Not sure why someone would call it \"eaggaegae\".
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorGish UK LP
Gish US LP
Gish UK LP remastered
Gish US LP remastered[/quote:3cswcxcf]
Hmmm. What’s the Gish US LP (not remastered)? You mean the CARLP16 one?
Cool As Ice CreamSpectatorWhat makes it a promo?
If it’s that one on eBay with holes punched through the back inserts, I’m not sure if it’s real. -
