    that quote, it’s just wow.

it drains me too, when people say the same things over and over again and nothing ever changes.

i really like this song. i feel like this sometimes. i just want to go to an imaginary place and stay lost in my thoughts. escape the real world for a while.

    Imaginary

    ~ Evanescence

    I linger in the doorway
    Of alarm clock screaming
    Monsters calling my name
    Let me stay
Where the wind will whisper to me
    Where the raindrops
As they’re falling tell a story

In my field of paper flowers
    And candy clouds of lullaby
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me

Don’t say I’m out of touch
With this rampant chaos- your reality
I know well what lies beyond my sleeping refuge
The nightmare I built my own world to escape

In my field of paper flowers
    And candy clouds of lullaby
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me

Swallowed up in the sound of my screaming
Cannot cease for the fear of silent nights
Oh how I long for the deep sleep dreaming
    The goddess of imaginary light

in reply to: Did anyone see this yet, the new EP? #40885

    i pre-ordered mine today :)

i think it’s kinda weird how the ep is on some site i’ve never heard of and there’s not even any news of it on sp.com. i mean the regular site not the forum. the regular site is so bare bones

you’re welcome :) it was fun watching them. there’s no way i would have jumped in that water though

in reply to: Post your thoughts #13228

it does. thanks rose. im finding that you’re only going to be as happy/enthusiatic about life as you allow yourself to be. the potential is in everyone.[/quote:204fzhrd]
i can understand that… i think for me, i keep telling myself it will get better one day, so it doesn’t get better today. maybe i should tell myself that it is better now, but then again if i think this is as good as it gets then i get depressed again. lol. i think i bring my own vicious circle on myself and i can’t break out. it’s kinda funny when i sit back and look at it from a distance. but it’s not so funny when i am right in the middle of it. am i making any sense?

in reply to: Post your thoughts #13225

how does one acquire enthusiasm about life’s daily events?[/quote:qkmf6bc6]

that’s a good question… i wish i could help you with that, but i feel the same way sometimes. just knowing that you are not alone might help a little…

i used to slide down a hill on cardboard behind my grandma’s house when i was little. :)

saturday there were some kids doing that on Mud Island and i was tempted to join them  but i didn’t. i resisted my inner child :P i had to clean up after the chili cook off. i won 6th place in chili by the way :D

and people were jumping in the ice cold MS river for the polar bear plunge thing. i got lots of neat pics. they are still in my camera. i have been so busy i haven’t had time to get them on the computer. i just wish i could have an entire week at home with nowhere to go!

you could do a part two of it… with arrow in the eye and red tears instead of blue.
or maybe not… er… too gory?
