manillascissorKeymasterI personally think the Rose March is a fake. The copy on SPfreaks and the copy I own have different matrix numbers. Why would that be?
manillascissorKeymasterMcCain: The Maverick.
Went against Ronald Reagan ONCE regarding Bosnia.
Sucked Bush’s small dick 95% of the time.
Voted for the war.
Wants to CONTINUE the war. IN IRAQ. IRAQ!!!!
Suspends campaign to fuck up Washington’s progress.
Committed adultery multiple times on his physically challenged first wife.
Reached across the aisle ONCE with the McCain-Finegold? bill.
Refered to Obama as "that guy".
Was defeated in 2000 by George Bush. Bush used smear tactics to destroy McCain’s image. Yet, 4 years later, campaigned for the same fucker that stabbed him in the back. Only to further his own political agenda.
Does not know how many houses he owns. Most people can’t afford one.
Nominated Sarah Palin as VP after a 15 minute phone conversation.
Was part of the 5 senator fiasco – name eludes me right now.
Admitted he does not understand the economy.
He’s old. Out of touch. Wants to change Washington. You’ve had 26 years, what have you been doing?
He knows how to find Bin Laden. What the fuck is he waiting on?
Supports a short term band-aid (at best) by more drilling. For oil. OIL.He sure is a maverick. If only in a good way. Oh well John. Better luck next time.[/quote:1h6ssoqf]
Where to start…..Manilla of course makes some interesting points. I need to do some fact-checking before I believe it all.
"suspends campaign to mess up washington’s progress"?? Seriously? What’s so bad about putting the economy before politics?
Adultery? uhhhhhh….ok. *cough*Clinton*cough*
What’s wrong with drilling for more oil?[/quote:1h6ssoqf]
What’s so bad is that it was unnecessary and only made things worse.
My point exactly. Hope you can see the two as equal, in that respect. Hope you weren’t part of the Clinton lynch mob, or else that would make you a hypocrite.
What’s RIGHT w/ drilling for more oil? Nothing.
manillascissorKeymasterONE MORE DAY!

I seriously hope this is not how our citizens vote. There are distinct differences between the two candidates.
All I can say is, you get what you vote for. Enjoy.
manillascissorKeymaster95% of the 60% who pay taxes. Is that a serious question?
Small businesses do pay capital gains taxes if they make a certain amount of money.
Abortion – to each their own, not really a major factor in this election IMO.
I don’t think Obama reach a class "flash point" and went straight to elite. Even if that WAS possible, that’s the American Dream, and you are holding it against him.
I question a candidate who gets his financial advice from 8 former BUSH LOBBYISTS.[/quote:2osg2qdn]
At least you get the 95% of 60%. I think most people hear 95% and think 95% of everyone.
Capital gains taxes–yes, but what is that "certain amount of money"?
Abortion– never said it was a major factor, just don’t agree with it. Tis personal I suppose.
Not holding Obama’s success against him, just hope people realize Obama may not understand the middle class like he lets on.
Financial advice point given.
Ballot still is blank! Shall I flip a coin?[/quote:2osg2qdn]
Like he lets on?????
So all those years as a community organizer, trying to help poor communities better themselves was all a show. Even after receiving the prestigious tenure as the first African-American President of the Harvard Law Review, he said no to a guaranteed 6-7 figure salary and no to a Supreme Court nomination. No, instead he went BACK to the poor communities to support them. TWICE.
You’re right, he’s completely out of touch with the middle class.
manillascissorKeymasterwe’re fucked, guys. this one has a lot of money.[/quote:k6q023vr]
i have connections and money. bring it.
manillascissorKeymasterThat’s a very cool award. Probably one of the few ever given out for Machina. But very expensive.
Do you think that gold record plays if taken out of display? Or is it just a generic record dipped in gold or something?
manillascissorKeymaster2. cut taxes for 95% of small businesses.Tax cut for 95% of all working families, not corporations
[/quote:1pjjw6w3]How can you cut taxes for 95% of households when only 60% pay taxes to begin with?
How does cutting capital gains tax for small businesses help them when they don’t pay that tax to begin with? Small businesses report their income as personal. So there is no "tax break".
Obama on abortion? You want someone who would allow an abortion at 8 months? Cruel.
Obama as middle class? IMO he went from poor to elite, skipping middle class altogether.
I question a presidential candidate who gets his financial advice from the former CEO of Fannie May.
Ok then. Ballot is still blank, people!! Decisions…decisions……[/quote:1pjjw6w3]

Is there a link with the famous sam_derek from Ebay ?[/quote:2u9jl2gv]
Bingo. I’m famous?
manillascissorKeymasterNo, it’s obviously a bootleg.
If you look at the \"spine\", you can see where \"The Smashing Pumpkins\" portion was crudely inserted next to the \"Mellon Collie\" title. Similar background, but obviously different.
manillascissorKeymasterany word on this?
manillascissorKeymasterHi all, new to the site, can’t believe that I have never found you guys before, but hey, the internet is a big place. I just got an email from PromoWest Productions which hosted the show in Columbus Ohio last year and is says that they are hosting a "Special Acoustic Halloween Performance" on October 31st in Columbus, Ohio at the Newport Music Hall. I don’t see anything about it on the SP website, but they did send me a really cool poster along with it in the email attachment. It just made my day!!!!!

[/url:f6s8ykj3][/quote:f6s8ykj3″>Welcome Zerohour. That’s pretty cool. I was supposed to see them last year in ATL on Halloween, then Jimmy got sick. Let’s hope this isn’t a curse of some kind.
manillascissorKeymasterAfter it is over will we be able to see the entries?
Also, are we allowed to post our images on other websites (i.e. art sites?)[/quote:fk3hvy0u]Yes, Della, it’s your art, do what you like. We just reserve the right to use the submissions as well is all.
manillascissorKeymasteri started my campaign 20 months ago. they never invited me on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, nothing. I’m still a write in though.
Manilla 08.
Arthur is VP.

manillascissorKeymasterI finally rooted around and found the mp3 of G.L.O.W. Kinda gave it a once through listen, nothing special. Then I listened a second time. And a third. Then it finally hit me.
The Smashing Pumpkins are back!
I was thinking, what other band is writing material like this right now in today’s musical climate? I still haven’t been able to answer this question. Call it American Gothic, call it whatever you want. I like to call it the Smashing Pumpkins.
After G.L.O.W., I no longer feel like I’m listening to Billy and Jimmy (plus two stage hands). Feels like a cohesive band again, making a musical statement that matters. The only album that truly matched exactly with the times was MCIS. Everyone got it, and it was hailed as a masterpiece because of the diversity, depth, and catchiness of the singles.
Honestly, I feel like I’m listening to the first single off the band’s newest album (I wish that were the case). But, I’m loving the feel of the band vs. what I felt about Zeitgeist, which was just Billy and Jimmy. I’m excited again!
Long live the Smashing Pumpkins!
manillascissorKeymasterthanks blue, rose, and reggae.

arthur’s cool as always, reggae, keep writing, you’ll get there. it’s amazing how going through a real crappy period in your life elicits poetry.
manillascissorKeymastermanilla, i LOVE that poem! my favorite are nature poems, this one is beautiful! great imagery

i only have one little question… the word ascended, did you mean descended? like the leaves fall to their nest on the ground?[/quote:19bi5t4a]
no, i meant ascended, even though falling. like going go heaven. leave heaven!
leaven?
manillascissorKeymasterWe have D’Arcy and Billy.
Where da rest be at?
[/quote:149hddk6]James is 60% done…. and Jeff is next !
I’m working on it
[/quote:149hddk6]Whoohoo!!!
manillascissorKeymasterthe leaves’ color is no more
ascended to their nest
one on top of the other
an infinite strata of deathpast times awake, during the day
they caught all rays of light
to hang and curl oh so gently
and sleep silent during the nightforever reaching out so far
atop the forest heights
battling rain and foragers
the endless army would fightuntil that day the wind blew cold
and someone gave the nod
to wither up and fly away
break off and join the sodtogether again, all on the ground
as a withering blanket of cover
to give the earth a little warmth
knowing winter is around the corner
manillascissorKeymasterwhat the fuck am i doing awake right now?
