Nice how they don’t show the cities or suburbs – it looks so serene and unspoilt!

marigoldSpectatorI first heard Siamese Dream on cassette (at a friends house, 19 years ago) and today I found a copy in a second hand store!
can’t figure out which one it is on the collection though. Made in Holland. UK HUTMC11
marigoldSpectatorHmmm maybe it got mixed up with some Zimbabwean currency? Conversion rate sounds about right!
marigoldSpectatorVery interesting subject, King. Very. It’s quite funny to realize that back in the days I was already a little old and a late discovering Smashing Pumpkins (1994, I was 27 years old). The first time I saw them live was in 1996.[/quote:vz1zb5pb]
And me in 1993, as a 19 year old.the first show I went to was also in 1996, and there were plenty of teenagers younger than me. I think it’s great they appeal to younger fans now, just as they did back then.
marigoldSpectatorGood luck!
marigoldSpectatorI’ve been a member on there for about 3 years, but barely use it. Why aren’t your friends registered if they are Muse fans? I think the UK ones are sold out, not sure about Belgium.
Also, I don’t think I can buy them for Belgium, being in NZ. Sorry not much help.

surprised to see a couple of songs I haven’t heard yet!
marigoldSpectator\"War Within A Breath\" Rage Against the Machine
Every official that comes in
Cripples us leaves us maimed
Silent and tamed
And with our flesh and bones
He builds his homes
Southern fist
Rise through tha jungle mist
Clenched to smash power so cancerous
A black flag and a red star
A rising sun loomin’ over Los Angeles
Cause for Raza livin in La La
Is like Gaza on to tha dawn of Intifada
Reach for tha lessons tha masked pass on
And seize tha metropolis
It’s you that it’s built on
Everything can change on a new years day
Everything can change on a new years day
Everything can change on a new years day
And everything changed on a new years day, c’monWar within a breath
It’s land or death
War within a breath
It’s land or death
War within a breath
It’s land or death
War within a breath
It’s land!Their existence is a crime
Their seat their robe their tie
Their land deeds
Their hired guns
They’re tha crime
Shots heard underground round tha rapture
Tha world’s eye captured
At last in a Mexican pasture
Tha masked screaming land or death
Within a breath
A war from tha depth of time
Who shot four puppet governors in a line
Who shook all tha world bankers
Who think they can rhyme
Shot tha landlords who knew it was mine
Yes, it’s a war from tha depth of timeEverything can change on a new years day
Everything can change on a new years day
Everything can change on a new years day
And everything can change on a new years day, c’monOh, Hear the masked scream
War within a breath
It’s land or death
War within a breath
It’s land or death
War within a breath
It’s land or death
War within a breath
It’s land or death
marigoldSpectatorIt does a bit!
The red dragon on the flag actually symbolises Wales, who defeated the white dragon (Anglo Saxons).
marigoldSpectatorI liked that one!

or 44+44
marigoldSpectatorThe most powerful of Druid animal symbols, the dragon, representing all of creation, symbolizes power, hidden wisdom, vitality, new thresholds, fertility, inspiration, imagination, purification, wealth and the treasures of the subconscious mind.
The creature is associated with the four elements, governed their energies and qualities, and is ruled by the feminine or masculine aspect of divinity. Fire and air are masculine; earth and water, feminine. The dragon is the gatekeeper to otherworlds and the guardian of wealth, representing the supernatural forces which guard the great treasures and secrets of the universe. The Celts believed the dragon was a benevolent denizen of caves, the inner earth and lakes.[/quote:11odfrg0]

marigoldSpectatorhmmm one of those things is not the same
I’m not getting some of these new songs, Gauze, Swerve City and Goon Squad – don’t seem to go anywhere, What Happened to You – sounds like it should be on a side project (Team Sleep style)
I really like Rosemary, Entombed, Graphic Nature and Tempest though.
marigoldSpectatorI have about 3 favourites from each album, but for now I’ll pick these:
Gish: Tristessa
SD: Rocket
PI: Starla
MCIS: Porcelina
Adore: Appels and Oranjes
Machina I: I of the Mourning
Machina II: Saturnine
Zeitgeist: Stellar
Teargarden: Freak
Oceania: Glissandra
marigoldSpectatorThanks for the personal delivery Derek
now my Celestials vinyl is on it’s way via post back to NZ! (I hope)
Very cool that you helped people overseas to get these.
[/quote:3pn35mv4]
it would be cool to get NZ repped in here as well. photo debby? i know there are the photos from the concert with you holding it, but i was hoping for a handwritten type of thing if you are down.[/quote:3pn35mv4]
I posted it to my parents so will get it next week (hopefully) and take a photo then, no problem.
marigoldSpectatorI like this one from 2004:
\"Your basic person wants to talk about material culture, internet culture. I think about God, cats, nature.\"
marigoldSpectatorDid they mention a vinyl release? Haven’t heard anything yet.[/quote:3bdpumfg]
