    * monorail, market and waterfront in Seattle
    * ferry to Vancouver Island

While on my travels I wrote a couple of poems in a little book that had my travel itinerary in it, and this was read through by a Canadian border patrol guy who gave me a hundred questions too.

    Silence
    we listen for the silence
but all we hear is noise
    down in the underground
where the creatures are keeping time

    they don’t hear our voices
they won’t look for the signs
    too busy with their purpose
counting minutes as they say goodbye

I’ll see what they’re selling it for here (if they do sell it in the shops here) as the other reissues went down in price after several months, but this reissue has decoupage! Can’t wait to have a go with that :)

If I recall that pink demo tape was originally $5,999… Yep

I’ve never seen bootlegs of this in NZ, so it was fun to find!
It doesn’t seem like they tried too hard, the cover is this:
    http://spfreaks.com/default.aspx?page=I … item=12720
(and it is a paper insert)
And the back cover insert looks like they made it up, as I can’t see anything similar in the collection.
Looks very homemade although they got the CD printed too, extra effort!
Will scan it when I get back home next week :)

    I think Bram’s omg!! Is sarcasm ?
Anyway, I just like the fact that someone went to the effort of making it :)

Nicole shared a video made by climatescience.org showing part of Mitt Romney’s talk and then hurricane Sandy images. (it scares me that so many people thought he was funny!)
Of course some idiots told Nicole that she should just stick to the music but I like the fact she shared it – she has every right to do so just as anyone else would.

I found a copy (as in someone had made a copy) of CR-04 in a small and rather dingy Seattle record store today. The guy serving said just in case its a bootleg I’ll make it $4. I nodded and said it most definitely is!

Zuzu’s is a very nice tea house indeed! I noticed a sign outside saying their were proposed design changes to be made to te building – I wonder if that is for Billy’s ideas? I look forward to seeing his plans if so.

    Also – yay!! – I think someone got their t-shirt! :)

I keep seeing cars with Mitt Romney stickers, or people reading articles about him. Have to stop myself from shaking some sense into them. Not really sure how you deal with people voting for the opposition here.

Yeah they just announced their Europe dates today :)

What a show!! My god they have some energy! I was basically in awe for most of the show partly because I couldn’t believe I was seeing them live and partly because of the energy mainly from Chino. He even went right into the crowd and had some people holding him up while he sang a bit – was crazy!

And Chicago was even more awesome! Especially meeting new friends and old :)
Staying here another 4 nights at a backpackers place near Lincoln Park Zoo – visited the zoo today and saw amongst other creatures, a snow leopard, a Fennec Fox (adorable!), and a few birds and animals which only have a few hundred left in the wild – would have let all the animals free but they are safer in the zoo at least! :?

I went in the Target in San Francisco today and they didn’t know about it (entertainment section too), but I have had them hold one til Wednesday when I get back from the wilderness (Yosemite) but I have no idea if they will hold it for me really.
SP themselves tweeted about it so yeah it’s happening! 8)

SP were pretty awesome last night! I was pretty much right in front of Billy so I had a great view of them all playing. Posted photos on twitter but not sure how to post them here from my iPod – but will at some point :)
