Good find! I wonder, is this the album promo, or are they testing the waters for releasing it as a single? I hope it will be a single, because then we might get b-side(s)…[/quote:q7as3oac]

\"Look, if anybody wants any insight into my real character, I’m willing to play the fool, to point out where things are foolish. For example, addressing the Radiohead quote, where the quote was ‘I’ll piss on Radiohead.’ The context of the quote was saying ‘I’m willing to poke fun at something because there’s so much pomposity around it that it’s treated as reverent and holy,’ \" Corgan told MTV News. \"So what ends up happening? The quote ends up getting picked up, which shows [people think] ‘How dare anybody criticize the band that’s un-criticizable?’ And that’s really funny; why is a band un-criticizable? I’m an artist who it is apparently OK to criticize, and I’ve made a career out of playing with that criticism and subverting it.[/quote:2jr4fq7l]

    Definitely, can’t stand clutter!

yeah, I also like finding ideal gifts randomly and saving them for birthdays/Christmas. Also, if the gift helps someone else (ie. a local artist/craftsperson, or if it’s a Fair Trade product) I prefer buying those over ‘made in China’ junk.

I received a couple of birthday gifts I will probably never use.
A spiral cutter that makes fancy spirals in apples, etc
and a chopper/shaker thing that chops up cheese/nuts/herbs and sprinkles them
not sure if my Mum was trying to tell me I should spend more time in the kitchen…

It’s the thought that counts, right?

which is true of your boxed gift, it’s the thought behind the gift that is more valuable than what is inside.

    Oceania, in 13 parts

    Swirling around the vortex
    Spirals of light drawn in
No escape from the universal pull
Falling into the depths of time (Quasar)

    Watching from above
    Secrets known, forever seen
    Darkness grows
    Hidden silent and cold
    In our own reality (Panopticon)

    Hanging from the heavens
A guide to light the way
    Stories told by night
And shadows cast by day (The Celestials)

    A glow within, burning bright
A feeling of peace in its presence
The threads of time slowly unwind
And give way to reveal its essence (Violet Rays)

The cold dark days you bring
    Standing still against the wind
    Waiting for new beginnings
Awakening from within (My Love is Winter)

    We knew from the start
It would change the way we feel
    Music from the heart
A way of showing us it’s real (One Diamond One Heart)

    Circling wheels against the sky
They spin in a dizzy daze
    Making patterns against the sun
    Finding wishes and opportune ways
    A roulette for chances undone
To answer those who ask why (Pinwheels)

A rough stone polished smooth over time
    By tidal waves
    It sits alone but free
At the edge of the sand
Waves come to take it back to the sea (Oceania) (stolen from an older poem)

She rides to the edge of the waves
On a journey with the moonlight
    She’ll never say never
As she fades into forever (Pale Horse)

    Appearing on the horizon
The creature has left its lair
To warn us of storms and change ahead
A message of chaos in the air (The Chimera)

    A storyteller from afar
Bringing the words we need to hear
She’ll tell you of the future
    Of the trials and despair
And the faith to take us through (Glissandra)

    Empty thoughts and empty words
Staring back from a blank page
The ghost writing a hidden tale
Mysteries revealed for the coming age (Inkless)

    She waits by the wayside
Wilted by the heat of the sun
Torn by the winds of spring
    Only to make her stronger
To face whatever winter may bring (Wildflower)

i mean, is it confirmed that the vinyl record is already out there?[/quote:18e91gr2]
ignore this question. i’ve seen a picture of one of those sp.com pre-order packs, including the record.

it was still sealed though, so no information about the number of sides, etc.
all i can tell is that the front looks the same as the cd.

    [/quote:18e91gr2]

yeah, I saw people posting their pics of the vinyl on instagram

    What do i value?
my parents for helping me as much as they could
my friends for being around and putting up with me (and even the ones who I have to put up with :P )
my job because, although the pay sucks, I am involved in some really interesting and important work.

and being able to listen to all the music available to us, having that access to it. Oh the wonders of technology!

If I have a gripe about something, I try to remind myself, I didn’t have to walk 5 miles to get clean water this morning…then my gripe becomes invalid!

speaking of punks (and I am not a fan of punk) – I value those musicians who are genuine with their music, those who go against the grain, and those who will try something different, also with other artists.

Journalism: always need an attention grabbing headline and it doesn’t matter if the story as a whole doesn’t match – they took the quote out directly from what he said at least. I’ve seen articles that don’t even relate to the headings….
I studied journalism for a bit and gave up as I didn’t want to be a part of that media world. They distort the truth and often show only one side of the story.

    I’ve listened 5 times.

    Inkless, Violet Rays, Glissandra 10/10
Pale Horse, Pinwheels, Oceania, The Chimera 9/10
The Celestials, Quasar, My Love is Winter 8/10
    Wildflower, Panopticon 7/10

One Diamond One Heart 4/10 :?

I’ll probably change it all around after a few more listens. :)

I’ve now written one for each song, except Violet Rays, Glissandra, One Diamond One Heart, and Wildflower. Trying to avoid reading the lyrics as I don’t want to be influenced by them!

The only inspiration I am getting for these 4 songs is flowery and sparkly :?
