Glad it went to a cool guy. I’m sure it would have been happy in a few collectors hands, but I made a decision and went with it. I’ll keep my Sub Pop searching eye towards Seattle for another.
    Cheers

i’ve seen that guy. i think brandon told me he has no intention of selling any of it, just posting it on eBay is his way of showing off his collection.

i personally cannot stand him. eBay is for selling, not masturbation.[/quote:v0onkt1r]

Good description. His name is Andy and he likes to buy expensive stuff and multiply a realistic value by 5 or 10 or whatever and post it on ebay. Didn’t work at Sub Pop as far as I know. Unfortuneately, some people [newbies] buy stuff from him at over the top prices. He lists items with a buy it now of $5,000, for example, but accepts best offers. The sneaky part there is that you can set the ‘best offer’ settings to automatically accept certain offers.

do you also collect sub pop posters? i’ve got posters that i don’t want to keep, from L7, tad and mudhoney.[/quote:j1uxkafg]

Not really, but I am looking for any original Sub Pop "Lame Fest" posters or flyers.

Always buying Nirvana if anyone has something to get rid of.

The grey is not from \"switching\" the vinyl colors. Check youtube for how records are actually made. When records get pressed between 2 colors, you may get 2,3,4 or a few more mixed up records, but not 100. These were pressed on purpose. The darker color may be from inconsistenties in the vinyl \"rolls\".

    For what it’s worth.

Sub Pop SP 90 Test Press – Red vinyl for some reason. Anyone interested in this? I know it will cost dearly and I am not interested in keeping it. Bought as part of a collection. Mint and unplayed. email me or PM. I am new to this forum, but am the real deal. I may also have an extra Grey copy for the right price. I collect Sub Pop and Nirvana, trades will be considered, but I have most everything.

Great site by the way. Thanks!
