OK, I renamed the topic to Amasians Crazians, as if I found a new species, living on this planet. Well, I think I did. See this for example.

Yesterday was the Dutch opening of Chinese New Year festival in my home town. So far so good…

… your family, friends and relatives avoid talking about music, because you will start about Smashing Pumpkins all the time…

… all people around you say \"nahh, you probably you hate this song, because we know your taste already\"…

… your girlfriend never knows what to give you for your birthday, because \"you got it all!\"…

… you consider somebody that says \"yeah, I think I know them…\" as your best friend instantly…

… you start lecturing for a boring 1 hour anyway, when they \"only know 1 song however\", and then they know not even a title or can’t even whistle a tune…

… you have the best Friday of your life when a colleague of your work asks you to come upstairs in his office just before office hours end, and his whole team is watching Youtube and they play An Ode To No One (Metro 2000 live from \"farewell\" concert) from YouTube in your honor, and then a few of them say it’s 1 of the best rock songs they ever heard… (really, this happened to me 1 week ago, sooooo cool! I left the office on Cloud 9! :D )

It’s easy. If you come across an item that you have on your wantlist (or are thinking of putting on your wantlist) then you can check the numbers at Wanted / Offers. For example, check the list of official cds.

    http://www.spfreaks.com/?page=COLLINDEX&cat=3

On top there is this \"20 Explosive Dynamic Super Smash Hit Explosions!\" cd, and in the right column it says \"2 wanted I 0 offers\". If you have logged in, you can click on the words \"2 wanted\" and in the next screen you’ll see which members want it… If everything is working properly, then the persons mentioned at wanted AND offers on the same item get automated emails every night.

it was only $50 bucks actually. once its properly conserved, which i think a poster like that deserves it will probably have cost $100 or so, but that’s ok. i love that poster! and given its rarity i think it deserves the care.[/quote:u6t5hi09]
That is one of the best deals ever, that I heard of recently. That poster has a potential value of hundreds of dollars (I wouldn’t even consider selling my copy for 500 US$, for example), and it’s only the third one I have seen so far. But besides rarity and price, it’s the most beautiful Smashing Pumpkins poster I know. blueczarina, you can be VERY proud of yourself, if you ask me. Rare gem, very good price and a lifetime enjoyment. 8)

Quite a few fake users and spammers in there though. We are not deleting them everyday anymore, it’s a timeconsuming and boring job. I wished it stopped, I hate it! It’s sooo useless of those fuckin’ hackers!

But, we are on 74 My Collection users now, that’s ubercool. 8)

Funny you say that. I always felt more like your daddy. Since you recently started asking for pocketmoney, even sugar-daddy. :P

Seriously, I would check it out every now and then also, but when it turns out to be as slow as thepumpkins.net or as boring as netphoria, I will not go back, unless there is a really hot topic going on.

I have the other type too/two, Arthur. I thought it was just a copied sticker with the US/EU CD single used.[/quote:a9jvrs2a]
No, the one I have here now is almost the same Japanese CD like shown above, in a slimline jewelcase with a 4 page booklet as front artwork. The back of the jewelcase is black, like those ordinary cd-r cases from a cheap media shop. On the front of the booklet is the black and white flag and the text we already know of, for example, the Tarantula UK cardsleeve promo (and many others of course). Then 2 white pages, and on the back of the booklet the Warner Brothers logo with "FOR PROMOTIONAL USE ONLY / NOT FOR SALE".

The text on the CD is:

THE SMASHING PUMPKINS (note the capitols)
Tarantula (Album Version) 3:49 (no Japanese text)

WB logo on the right of the hole (instead of the left)

    THE SMASHING PUMPKINS
    "ZEITGEIST"
    2007.7.11 On Sale
    WPCR-12667 ¥ 2,580 (tax in)

FOR PROMOTIONAL USE ONLY / NOT FOR SALE (note the flip of the text)
