ArthurSpectatorthis is the best vid ever in the world[/quote:1fu4wbol]
Yup, a classic! And Dazey’s contribution is… horribly beautiful, disturbingly awesome. I don’t know what to say. Like it.
Dazey for you, this one. Showed it before on here, but I’m not sure if you were around at that time. I get the creepy shivers when I listen to this song. It makes me raging mad also, knowing this shit happens in real life also.

ArthurSpectatorwow, that cat is huge.[/quote:316jo4gn]
No, the beer is too small. Stop thinking like a woman. Please. Remember the name of this thread?
ArthurSpectatorHuh? Me? I’m innocent!
ArthurSpectatorCats are amazing, they are my #1 animal.
ArthurSpectatorSuperlord, don’t tell me you like FFAF and MSI too?
Marry me, y/n?
[/quote:2aa3f7jz]
I’m single, and you seem to like My Chemical Romance too. I guess you are my type.[/quote:2aa3f7jz]
I guess we are witnessing the first SPfreaks marriage here. I’m proud of you, guys!
ArthurSpectatorI’m a fan of the music AND videos of this band. You should see them widescreen HD and volume max. Fuckin’ awesome.

ArthurSpectatorMust be their voodoo gen…
I loved that part when a cat jumps on a table and slips off the other side, taking the toaster with him/her.
ArthurSpectatornope there top dog on my super duper extreme long list…
you have a zillion things…I have like nothing…actually everything is top dog-I have 6 cd’s? laugh all you want
I have 2 Superchrist cd’s one opened and sinfully in my car and the other is not opened and never will be[/quote:2xyy293e]
Yeah, but let’s be honest, it’s not about what we got, it’s about the passion for the (people making the) music that we share. And being the realistic collector I am, Mashed Potatoes nor Machina II will be ever in my collection, I’m sure. And having hundreds of cds doesn’t make me a bigger fan either, it makes me a collecting freak. (But I wear that title proudly, nya nya nya). So, laughing at others? Making fun of your (big or small) collection? Hell no. Never.
Anyway, my message is: we have the same level of passion for the most awesome band in the universe and beyond, with a drummer we love to see hittin’ his kit hard and loud, and a singer/songwriter/guitarist we love to see go crazy. That’s what bonds us.
ArthurSpectatorwow why would anyone sell that or give it to a GF to sell? That is priceless in my book. There are some things that you just can’t get rid of and that is definitely one of them.
you would have to bury me with that[/quote:3mj3gtcw]
Yeah… I’m thinking, a genuine Mashed Potatoes set would be my #1 rarity, followed on #2 by the genuine Machina II vinyl… But I guess most fans will put this list in a different order, right?

(definately a good contribution to this obscene thread
)
ArthurSpectatorLet me bring in what must be manilla’s weekly wet dream: having an apple yard, and he just hired some personel.
ArthurSpectatorSometimes @ the strangest online places you find Smashing Pumpkins rarities… Someone looking for this rare 1992 promo still? Promo CD (ESK4733). Caixa de plástico standard. ATENÃÃO : Superficie do CD contém alguns riscos ligeiros que não afectam a reprodução. Ultimo exemplar disponivel. But prepare to pay the full price, also in Portugal!

(CDR Acetate Promo. Algibeira de plástico. Capa de papel com nomes das 15 faixas. Ultimo exemplar disponivel.)
Thanks to Pipoka that found this website!
ArthurSpectatorA little Dickie Bird tells me you ARE Sven, I’ll never say any more, though.
[/quote:228n6c89]
You… uhm… how did you find that out? OMG!
ArthurSpectatorOh yeah, cool site! Been there a few times too, and can’t wait for her next release! And… love this pic:
ArthurSpectatorConstructive criticism’s always a good thing, sure. I’m guessing Sven would appreciate it, whereas on some sites people don’t wish to "keep things open."[/quote:1w21j3hi]
I have learned how to make "politically correct packages". Give 5 compliments first, then 1 punch. It works. And besides, Sven knows me for quite a few years… He can handle this, no worries!
ArthurSpectatorgreat write-up, Sven.
[/quote:coxritjp]
I very much agree. I love his style, his writing abilities, his titles (especially his titles are awesome!) and his astonishing knowledge. I also loves it that he puts a few SPfreaks.com links in his article again, and see… we hit the 100+ visitors again today. Even 130+ as we speak. But I’m being critical also. Sentences like these are too long and should be avoided!"Old childhood videos popping up, a lawsuit filed over horrendous video (yes, I’ve seen the full tape and in my personal collection resides a promotional 2 track video cassette of two The Marked video clips culled from said video) from way back when, a drummer claiming to have been in The Smashing Pumpkins proper and even a band no-one has ever truly seemed to have mentioned or heard of before appearing on stage as a deus ex machina as if it were the long lost missing link between Hexen and the gloom, doom, goth pop/rock stylings of The Marked (like The Marked is supposed to have morphed into The Smashing Pumpkins – that is: well at least two songs (if you don’t count ‘Hope’, released on the ‘Still Becoming Apart EP’ but already a Billy Corgan solo demo from somewhere around 1986/1987, as has been found out by a trustworthy and reliable collector’s source who has heard the cassette) were transferred into the repertoire of The Smashing Pumpkins)."
Sven, please!
ArthurSpectatorNope, of course not. Go ahead, give manilla all the boobs and things he wants. I’ll take the blame and shame if he starts getting mad. We’ll build a complete new forum with new webmasters if needed.
ArthurSpectatorSuddenly I would be collecting vinyl, no doubt. My goodness. If that happened to me, they have to put me in a decompression tank for a few hours to recover.
ArthurSpectatorJust a bit over the hour, pretty fast! Yeah, that’s why I think they could do a Tribute to … this band.
ArthurSpectatoranother why:
why didn’t anyone know about this charity auction?[/quote:2flzeuw2]
Exactly!
ArthurSpectatorAre you going to give this forum the Netphoria swing? Are you really, bullet? Why do I always think of the Fall of the Roman Empire when I mention Netphoria? Geezz! I should go see a doc for that!
ArthurSpectatorOf course, let’s give it a try. Manilla’s boobs and other 21+ obscenities thread. However, I’m not going to start it. manilla might kick me from my own forum.
ArthurSpectatorMore than a bit I’m afraid… Since that cigarette-microwave incident he has lost himself a bit. I’m worried!
ArthurSpectatorBut obviously it was the Q101 copy that was (tried to be) sold on eBay? Funny… My expectation is that Billy would have been double pissed when he found out.
ArthurSpectatorDone bullet. I love the comments of manilla and Shannen as they are now.
