ArthurSpectatorBilly: \"James! Who *&^%^$#@ put that @#$*&^@ skateboard on stage! Hell, my #@%^& ass hurts!\"
James: \"(Oops, I’m outta here…)\"

ping! I’m not crazy, I’m a microwave!
ArthurSpectatorI mean, that Siamese Dream journalist guy was flamed over there, and will be remembered by many people as "Chris, The Cover Girl Raper" or something. [/quote:3e5no5i4]
what’s that story about?
[/quote:3e5no5i4]
Ask our friend the Netphorian for a link?
ArthurSpectatorHahaha and that’s what happens when Cool As Ice Cream edits his original question \"what do you want to know exactly\" while I was typing the answer!
Thank you Cool!
ArthurSpectatorThe only thing I know is what I just found on sp.com. The question there is
\"Goofing around on the internet and I found all these old journal entries from Billy Corgan about writing, rehearsing, and eventually recording and performing a bunch of acoustic songs about Chicago. Has anyone heard this stuff? Where can one get one hands/ears on this stuff? For the curious, I read about this stuff and many other things at Billy Corgan’s Live Journal page. I believe this was from the spring of 2004 . . .\"
And the YouTube video was a response to this question… Sidenoted Chicago Song if I remember well, so I took that as a title. For me this little era after Zwan and before the reformation of the Smashing Pumpkins concept is a blank spot somehow. I was only into Pumpkins, a little into Zwan and then found new bands to follow. Anyway, the original question intrigues me. Maybe here are also people that can help. So I guess the questions would be
-Are there more songs like this from this period?
-Did Billy ever talk about this again in interviews?
-Did he cooperate with more people besides this flute person in the video?Well, anything you know about this project…
ArthurSpectatorYour score. I also wonder why you care so much.

You forgot the silly, sarcastic, irony part. We all want a laughter every day also.
ArthurSpectatorYeah it is! Seen that show when they did the CDs? Nice one also!
ArthurSpectatorit’s a pity this kind of behaviour is not allowed here.

Peace brother, I’m a hippy rocker!Seriously, it doesn’t need a fight with me to know Pipoka, bullet, Superlord, toad32r, Dazey, manilla, tree_spirit, and you Cool As Ice Cream, and many others are my online Pumpkins friends. I just don’t get it why people walk around the bush like that.
And Superlord, imagine you would stand at a busy busstation and say to a pretty girl asking the time to you "won’t help you, show me your tits now! and at night you probably masturbate with a dildo, right?". Would you do that? Black humour? Naahhh… I would like to call it insulting and uncivilized behaviour…
Open forums like ours, BlamoNet and Netphoria, with around 10 times more guest users that can read anything published, are very public places. I know very well it’s pretty cool sometimes to search for the boundaries and step over it, or to tease people a bit longer to have them say things you want to hear. Even in public places. Just to hear their real opinions, or to protest against injustice for example. I was caught four times by the police for this kinda aggressive and shocking type of behaviour in public, so really, I do know what I’m talking about. But this was never because I insulted people, or suggested things about them in a certain context that made absolutely no sense. But sometimes people just can’t handle the truth, or don’t want to hear about another opinion… Well, tell you later. Old stories.
Anyway, I’m strongly against irrelevant insulting behaviour when I ask something nicely, being new on a public forum.
So on this forum… No. No chance.
ArthurSpectatorThe socks ain’t that bad, it’s the sneakers!
ArthurSpectatorThis is one for Brainiac.
ArthurSpectator… stop scrapping over, which forums suck. to each their own.

Yes and no. Yes, to each their own, of course, I agree. But I think it makes sense to discuss the Pumpkins places that matter, and are worthwhile to visit often. What you like there and what you don’t like there. And stating what is wrong in the policy of, for example, Netphoria makes sense too I guess. I mean, that Siamese Dream journalist guy was flamed over there, and will be remembered by many people as "Chris, The Cover Girl Raper" or something. I dare myself (and you, if you’re with me) to speak out against such tendencies, instead of slowly picking up that primitive atmosphere, and go down the drain with them. That’s why debates and discussions like this are cool.
ArthurSpectatorin order to light another. wow.[/quote:2m943cr1]
ArthurSpectatorCool As Ice Cream is a person with many faces…
You did not hear me think schizophrenic, oh no!
ArthurSpectatorAnd that price you got it for, awesome job.
ArthurSpectatorYeah BlamoNet is really not bad, I just browsed around a bit and liked it. Girls also post in the man board by the way, and its pretty decent and respectful what they write. What I found hilarious is that Elliott Smith is way more popular post-wise. Was BlamoNet always a Pumpkins board, or did it evolve from something else?
ArthurSpectatorporn on blamonet?[/quote:2c0gzjsq]
Let’s check it out, shall we! Maybe a good reason to visit Blamo after all!
ArthurSpectatorIndeed blueczarina, and we won’t allow it either. Our forum webmaster already deleted 1 or 2 members in our very short existence, and with my full approval. You know, I really don’t mind when people want to talk about porn, their favourite sexual positions with their boy- or girlfriend, or whatever. But the keyword here is: respect. This is a public place like a library, trainstation or stadium, and people should behave like they are in such place.
Besides, this place is mainly about Smashing Pumpkins. And any subject related to this band can be discussed. Can be in an ironical way, in a funny way, in a respectful disagreement with some hard words, but no bashing, trashing and vulgar debating. We are talking about people here (band and forum members like-wise) and I think we should treat each other like that.
ArthurSpectatorI second that blueczarina. Things I was not allowed to post at Netphoria were happily accepted there. ThePumpkins.net is very slow technical wise and it doesn’t contain much info like Netphoria does, but at least it’s (kinda) non-commercial, funny and friendly. Also Blamo ( http://www.blamonet.com/vb/ ) might be an option, when you are looking for an even bigger and way more active forum. I don’t know much about their friendly-ness however as I never go there. Maybe someone here can tell his/her experiences at Blamo?
ArthurSpectatorDear Cool As Ice Cream… Let me tell you why. Just an example of browsing around on this nice place called Netphoria on a cold Spring evening. Looking for some Siamese Dream info.
Pompompomtiedom… Oops?

Topic: The Girls on the Cover of Siamese Dream (2007-07-13)
\"Hey everybody.
So, this may sound. . .well. . .odd, but I am a journalist, working on a story about \"Siamese Dream,\" and have been trying, to no avail, to track down the little girls pictured on the album cover, so that I can interview them.
Alas, no one seems to know who they were, or what their names are. There have been rumors that they were actually D’Arcy’s sisters, but I don’t believe that’s true.
I know I’m new to this forum, but any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris\"Interesting, friendly question. Let’s read on. Huh? What do I read now? Some replies on page 1:
\"he’s going to rape them\"
\"pedophila…\"
\"Maybe Siamese Dream would have tanked without them. Maybe Zeitgeist would have been better with them. Either way, who gives a fuck…they are over 18 now, I want to see those tits!\"
\"No, the guy just is one sick fuck. he probabaly had the olson twin countdown on his computer, now he is moving on to other little girls he can masturbate to ….\"
\"by the way, someone needs to post the \"you’re gonna get raped\" pic.\"
\"Those poor kids are obviously going to end up pretty well if they’re just getting raped, judging by the original post\"
Right. I’m tired already. Because these primitive reactions (the only sweet words I could find for this) are allowed on Netphoria, this forum sux big time in my opinion. I would immediately delete these posts, delete the friendly members with it, ban their ip addresses and their childrens’ and grandchildrens’ ip addresses also, for life and beyond. I wouldn’t be too proud to be member there, whatever info can be found between this crap. I did go there a few times and posted around 15 times, 2 of them got deleted without any explanation from the webmasters beforehand. It took me about 3 emails to find out why my posts were deleted, and the reason was I linked back to SPfreaks.com. Yeah right! Anyway, not my kind of place, not my kind of people, not my kind of attitude…
But I wish everybody going there a happy time of course! It’s a free world after all!
