Hey, have you gotten the pics for the swedish promo of Stand Inside Yr Love w/ IFPI stamp that i sent you.[/quote:24ojko1f]
Uhm… probably yes? It rings a bell. I must have send it onwards to manillascissor, as I don’t have internet access for now at our new home (I’m now at work, shhhhh!). So I can not do any remote uploads to the SPfreaks database… But manilla still can, luckily! Maybe it’s better that you send it again to spfreaks at gmail dot com, so I can make sure it arrives @ manilla. Thanks honey… made opiate!

Definately a boot. But I always think these Asian album boots are kinda funny, because they have been boot-ed in a kinda childish way… That brings a smile to my face, most of the times. Nice find, Voidhanger! It would be nice to receive proper scans of this item someday, so we can put it in our database…

Yeah, well, I have that black shock-rock side too, you know… A sweet, honest guy with a little nasty edge?

But yeah, I can understand your reaction, marigold. Sometimes, I like to go beyond the

1,000 pills downed , to see what is there to explore… Makes me remember a little anecdote… In Highschool, when I wrote for the School newspaper, I wrote a shock-story for the Final Exams edition. It was a psychodelic mindtrip, in which the School Principal was ritually killed by a student. That math teacher thingy actually refers to that story a little, in a way. Anyway, during the Proms speech the School Principal couldn’t help but saying that this years’ edition of the Final Exams newspaper was the weirdest he had ever seen in his career, thanks to some stories he read in it!

It’s all mindplay only, please remember that, marigold… :)

I know, but this cd was my crown jewel of my collection.

Im am truely happy it stays withing the family, else i wouldn’t sell it.

Some guy over at sp.com offered me more money then Arthur bought it for, i declined him.[/quote:ieeb6aqi]
That’s how I got away with under-paying for it, bringing in the SPfreaks family thingy…

Just kidding of course. I’m honoured that I’m able to do Ayoe a little favour in these hard times. I truly love these type of acetate promos (and this is a one-of-a-kind!), and it’s going to be 1 of my top 10 Smashing Pumpkins items also, believe me! 8)

And talking about the price of that item… I paid the same to Ayoe what she paid on the auction a while back. I think it’s fair in a time to help a friend (oh sorry, family member that is! ) out. Normally I would never have paid that much money for a single song on a single cd, though… That’s 1 of the reasons why I let the auction for this item pass by at that time, the other reason being my budget is limited anyway these days…

Anyway, Derek is right, Ayoe, don’t forget that. 1 year ago I was fucking close to also selling my collection, when that stupid judge put 190,000 Euro on my head in court. They tried to collect that money twice in the meantime, it was my lawyer who was able to push them away. For 1 year I had to hide my whole Smashing Pumpkins collection, and only a few weeks ago I moved it back to my place, and started building the "SP rock hok"… Because I feel rather secure about winning the Appeal, which is due in August, I just heard. So I know what it is to have something precious, and (almost) having to let it go again. But all these stories add emotional value to an item, right! Also to your Cherub Rock Townhouse promo, Ayoe! :D

Gogol Bordello, a gypsy punk band from the US. Quite entertaining, to say the least.

I think I’m going to check out their DVD \"Live from Axis Mundi\".

Not shown, left of the MCIS award is a framed Chigaco Tribune Metro ad for their farewell in 2000, and the left wall is covered with a huge Subway poster for Stand Inside Your Love single and the famous GM Place Vancouver concert poster. And more to come: the If All Goes Wrong poster, that one still needs to be framed, but its place is already reserved in my Smashing Pumpkins Music Room aka \"SP rock hok\"… 8) 8) 8)
