Canned dessert rat! Or: imbecile black reptile!

Uhm, these answers are right, maybe?

Anyway, my question of the day is: Why didn’t the Smashing Pumpkins ever cover the Uriah Heep song July Morning?

    Holy feck,this is a hard one![/quote:2i2d5a24]
I fully agree, but you made the right choice…

If it was to me then Slunk, Marquis, Mayonaise, Tear and 7 Shades make it to the next round, but 1. it’s impossible as only 3 will go through and 2. if I have to choose anyway, it’s gonna be a rarity/b-side amongst the rockers. I have been listening to the Cessations Of Grandeur 9CD boot* a lot lately, and when Marquis In Spades passes by, I just can’t help loving the prolific Billy screams in that song… And screaming with him!

So Marquis is going to survive, if it was to me. :P

    * Cessations Of Grandeur, digital only boot with over 650 minutes of Smashing Pumpkins (and a few Billy Corgan and Zwan) rarities. Worthwhile a listen!

    I did, but I fell asleep after 2 lines… :P

No seriously, it’s a good song of course, but too soft for me. I love the metal rockers of the Pumpkins way more!

tsk tsk tsk Ayoe… we know you hate the Pumpkins rockers and love the ballads, but as long as I’m around to protect the rockers, Marquis is not deleted that easily… Ugh, as Chief Arthur said, after smoking a good pipe… :P

Absolutely, I think it’s a bargain. Since the sleeve is EMI Philippines (visible down right) it is an extraordinary item, if you ask me. Congrats again!

bought this for cheap from an ebay seller from the philippines. i don’t think the vinyl is in good condition, but the sleeve is cool. hadn’t seen it before.[/quote:3mf2ccii]
Cool find, Bram. The sleeve looks like mice have been nibbling from it here and there…

no, that’s not what i mean. this is clearly a uk promo (see insert). what i’m saying is that it’s a bit weird, or wrong even, that it comes in a jewel case.[/quote:1hxdvubp]
Exactly. Also your point "just pay attention to the insert: it’s too big for the jewel case." is not to be missed here. The cd might be genuine, but the jewelcase isn’t. At least it leaves tons of room for doubts…

Hehehe, no, not really… Should something change then?

But we did get another surprise from our boss, last Friday we had a little party in office for the colleagues, and our boss offered us a night in a Starwood hotel called Hotel Des Indes. We spend there the night from Friday to Saturday, and we were allowed to stay the Saturday also, oh boy oh boy…

In this very same hotel President Eisenhower, Winston Churchill, The Spice Girls, you name it, stayed also… The bed was awesome, we had a Continental and American Breakfast on bed, champagne, we did a beauty treatment, Shannen added a pedicure to it, and we finished it all with a 4 course English High Tea… 8)

    Here’s a compilation of pics:

There are (more than) several types of this Greatest Hits promo indeed, 2 CD and 1CD and Judas 0 only… the jewelcase version shown here is not on SPfreaks yet, but that is no surprise… It looks genuine to me anyway.

A friend of mine thinks he hears a little Rolling Stones – Angie, but I don’t know… He’s making fun of me all the time. :P But in the comments to that blog post someone says it is the song Astral Planes.

This guy probably repaired the Echorec Billy was using, so that’s why Kay blew up!

Probo one the most expensive auctions ive seen, and the stuff his trying to sell. is not even rare.

But it includes the cassette "Drown (Extremely Rare Live Album Released To Coincide With The 1993 European Tour. Mint Condition)"? Must be a bootie cassette then, I guess… It’s not on SPfreaks.com anyway.
