ArthurSpectatorfor shame. go veggie.
[/quote:3c9z516h]
Yeah, go veggie! Have some more of Pips’ delicious mushrooms!
OK OK, it’s becoming an old joke now…
Talkin’ about being veggie, I was one till I was 14 years old… Not by my own choice though, my parents were vegetarians in the 1970s. And swingers. Not that I really noticed the last part though. When my father married again with my stepmum, she brought in the meat, luckily. I never had thought being veggie was that healthy, but that’s just my humble opinion… Anyway, stepmum kicked out the swinging lifestyle, though. Naya, win some, loose some…
ArthurSpectatoraw that’s cool Arthur
it’s like if you ever see the words smashing pumpkins they stand out like a neon sign or something don’t they?

ArthurSpectatorThat is because the American offices were made like that in the old days, and they are still made like that AD.
What is the most impossible situation to get into?
ArthurSpectatorHa! That resemblance is uncanny, but no, it’s not him. That’s the friend that paid for most of the trip so that I could go
[/quote:3j65b3em]
He’s a really nice guy, with a really good heart, obviously.
ArthurSpectatorI actually never believed that 7 Shades Of Black would really make it to the end… I fucking love that song, PLAYED LOUD!, but there seemed to be quite a lot of people that have a very different taste! That changed during the voting, it seems!
ArthurSpectatorand arthur i didnt think about the legalities of this. do what you gotta do.[/quote:16iqi6yh]
Nothing, at the moment. I used to be a kinda hardliner in public about these kind of things (while deep in my heart I want to share every note they played), but being the owner of this Pumpkins Plaza also comes with some public responsibility and public (financial) dangers. At the moment, my opinion is that sharing the Smashing Pumpkins songs that were never commercially released is OK. That includes rips from cassettes and vinyl that are not commercially available anymore also. And that includes unreleased material from inhouse promo tapes and cds, acetates, early mixes, whatever. And to add to this: we have no commercial intentions here on this board, and if we happened to know each other in real life (live in the same city for example), we would be taping and copying and burning cds for each other too, like collecting friends and Smashing Pumpkins fans do, right? And that wouldn’t be considered illegal at all!
But yeah, there is always the risk of a "guest" forum reader, that picks up our downloadable stuffs, and sells it on Chicago Tapes vinyl, and then who pays the bill from Billy’s lawyer? It worries me sometimes, you know…

And free crappy copy-paste artwork, but: "VERY HEAVY BLACK VINYL"I agree with Cool.
ArthurSpectatori dont know why the url links didn’t work. i always have trouble with them. and i don’t wanna fuck up the post even more by trying to fix it. just copy/paste[/quote:dylg57vu]
Awesome material, thanks for the hard work you guys! Not sure if the last few tapes with studio material are legal to share like this, but for the moment I will leave it, see what the responses are… I think it is otherwise unavailable anyway.
Oh, btw, that url thingy:
http://archive.org/details/tsp1993-07-04.sbd.ana.promo <= just don’t do the [url] tags
http://archive.org/details/tsp1993-07-04.sbd.ana.promo <= see how it changes to red color, indicating it is clickable?
If this doesn’t work at your side, you are probably not using Internet Explorer? IE saves the right info for this url thingy with the post, and maybe your browser doesn’t do that… Just a guess, I’m not that technical actually…
ArthurSpectatorold thread, i know.
but are you guys talking about the show for the "live machina" boot?[/quote:3q9uwu6d]
No, they talk about a Swedish show a few days before the (great indeed!) show from Holland you refer to.

ArthurSpectatorAm I a freak or not? When reading the TV magazine, I immediately noticed that the Smashing Pumpkins were mentioned in a little article about the 1902 movie \"Le Voyage Dans Le Lune\". It says \"The iconic image of a rocket in the eye of the moon is still known worldwide, and The Smashing Pumpkins used the movie as a base for a video clip.\"
ArthurSpectatorThis one is now finally officially mine.

Congrats! Nice!

I have that same itchy feeling, when I look at the close up. I don’t think SP would have approved those scribbles…
ArthurSpectatorTo me it looked like you have been thinking, changing, thinking, changing the votes over and over again! And then, in the end, messing it up big times! Then, posting it anyway!
ArthurSpectatorlol, i think we are all confused
