his rant is during the end of porcelina

it still sounded like it was a pretty good show though

billy said they had thought about canceling the show because it didn’t sell as many tickets as the other shows had, but they didn’t cancel because that would not be fair to those who had bought tickets. and he said the crowd was too quiet and it was making them nervous and he said you’re too quiet either because we suck or because you suck, but most likely it’s because we suck.

i didn’t get to go to that show but my friend did, and she refused to go see them in october because of what billy said at that show. so i was curious to hear exactly what he said. i couldn’t believe they had that show on the archive.

i can understand how b felt though, he pours his heart into his music and he just wants people to like it.
he is not afraid to voice his opinion.

BUT….. i am not sure about using the word normalcy in that poem…. i don’t know what exactly i was going for….. what do you guys think? i am always up for constructive critisism :)

    rewrite:

    Originality
    Undoubtedly
    Tries
    Longingly to
    Escape
    Triumphantly

i think i like that better

acrostic poems are my favorite now, they are fun to write :)

i have been listening to the sp show from the Pyramid in Memphis back in 1996. it was cool that archive site had it posted. i have been so curious as to what actually happened at that show. billy had a rant and they cut the show short. but it still sounded like they gave a great performance.

in reply to: Recommend a band #16762

I can see. I nearly cried this past month going through people’s collection photos. I feel like a sucky fan. My parents were a little weird though, they never wanted me to have band posters on my wall, and they didn’t let me go to concerts until I turned 18… so I kind of started late and got side tracked with so many other things in life. I feel like I’m starting over these past few months… but the sad part is I don’t have money to afford a collection![/quote:312yk2vp]

don’t feel bad, i don’t have much of a collection either, just the albums (no singles or rare albums) and 2 t-shirts. i wish i could afford to buy more stuff too.
