We just got a thunder/sleet storm. That’s a first for me. 36 degrees, and lightning with ice falling everywhere.

be careful w/ other laserdiscs though, as anyone can burn any songs to it and call it an official release. and no one knows shit about them, so it’s hard to tell what’s real and what’s not.

I feel everyone’s perspectives here on the bidding aspect of eBay. Here’s my two cents, so to speak:
I am a sniper. I don’t place a bid early, as I have a high profile name w/i the collecting community (samderek) and I’ve pissed off plenty of people in the past. So I have a target on my head, for jealous bidders who want to artificially inflate the auction, just to make me pay more; I don’t just say this, I’ve fell victim in the past (back when you could see the names) repeatedly, and the seller would then offer me the item again at my high price because the first bidder was never serious about paying. This is even more of a concern now, as sellers cannot leave negative feedback against buyers.
My solution is simple. I found a site that bids for me. I don’t even have to be online. I’ve won every auction on eBay this way, for the past two years. I send an email to a few people I know may be interested, to let them know I found it \"first\". Out of respect, most don’t bid.
However, I also agree with Bram. If I notify him that I’m going to snipe, he can still place a fair bid as well. He usually bids low anyway.
Point being, no one knows how much I’m going to snipe and only a few know that I’m even interested.I feel like I always win this way, literally. On eBay, with fellow collectors, and even assholes who want to make me pay high prices. This is how I will continue to bid.

I just watched it a few times. I don’t think it’s contrived, seems legit to me. I just wonder how he got up there in the first place?

I was a casual SP fan until Pisces came out. And then I fell in love with this \"album\" and went back and married Siamese Dream.
This is my favorite SP era, and is what solidified my allegience to the band.

Yeah, I went to BestBuy. Looked everywhere, finally asked a guy. He’s like Oh yeah! and heads over to a new stock cart. Pulls ONE copy from it.
So either they carry very few, or it’s selling quickly. I picked up the only copy in the store though!
And two non-SP related CDs for a friend.
