Window Paine [3]+In regards to Pakula selling the site to Billy. I could believe him trying it. He just wants one big final payoff I imagine. Andrew likes to do no work and get a lot of reward. I’ve explained it over at blamo and I’ll explain it here once. He’s hidden ads on his page before to make more money. He just caches up all the cash he makes from people visiting his site and takes expensive vacations. He rarely updates himself and if he does, it’s usually to promote buying something through his site to make him more money. He brings in sub-webmasters to do all the updates for him whenever he finds someone he thinks he can trust. I did this at one time and learned the hard way what he is like. As a person, he’s really egotistical and selfish. If you can’t tell, I don’t have much like for the guy.

Not a long one tonight as I was reading real life comics all night (that strip is great). I got two new tires today and it worked out better then I expected. Tires designed for snow/ice are exceedingly cheaper in Texas then Michigan. Woot!
It’s the weekend and I need to start packing. I’m thinking that I will have more room in my car this time for some odd reason, even though I technically own more stuff now. I plan on throwing out a lot of clothes and assorted junk that I somehow found a point in bringing down here. It’s going to be nice to see seasons again. Much better then Boiling hot, semi hot, semi cold, semi hot, repeat.

I ate 9 calzones and 20 pizza rolls and I’m still hungry. Next break the other 20 pizza rolls will be mine! Mwahahahaha… er.. *ahem* I am not a pig I swear.
I still can’t believe people are voting off Window Paine this early.
It probably wont come close to winning, but come on! I did wait until after midnight to vote again too. 3rd shift ftw. I went to bed at 7am this morning after watching wrestling and Eureka (great show!) and woke up at 11:30am.
I wasted most of the day then went back to sleep before going to work. I hate doing it, but it works sometimes. I don’t get my new license plate until next week and I need to do some more repairs on my car. Ugh. It’s considered illegal right now because the only thing I have in my car that says I’m the owner is the title and a photocopy of my insurance. Is anybody a car person? I have a couple questions to ask if so.The TV show Chuck was already extended from the initial 13 episodes to the full 22 because NBC liked it so much. That made my day 10x better. Such another great show. Though Ice Road Truckers season finale is this week. Sigh. I swear I don’t think I watch that much TV. Let’s see… Wrestling = Raw, ECW, Smackdown. When they are new: Dirty Jobs, Mythbusters, Ghost Hunters (and International), Ice Road Truckers, Eureka, Flash Gordon, Chuck, Reaper, Smallville EDIT: Aye! I forgot Lost and Heroes!. Is that really that many?
Thought for the night: Why is it that the people that complain the most tend to be the ones that should be complained about?

Don’t destroy my beloved Window Paine while I can’t save it.The O-board was good in it’s incarnation, but it felt hampered later on. There was the usual drama that tends to go with every board. It was to be expected I think. I’ll give Billy & Co. credit though, they did their best to be interactive with the fans. The Gish chat they did was a lot of fun and I wish they had done more of those. The board won’t hurt any of the communities, it may actually help. New fans find the O-board and then through word of mouth or people just mentioning other boards they eventually meander over and become members. I’ve been in the communities since 96 and the die hards never go anywhere else. (I say this and I’m posting on a site that isn’t the one I work for LOL) Just saying that the board will help not hurt.
I can’t believe people are voting Window Paine off the list so early.
It’s too early for me to type out my novel for the night but I couldn’t help posting that. That and I’m so hungry I could eat a horse.
Captain Talkative is being realitively quiet tonight which is nice. 5 days left of work here. It’s going to fast.

Window Paine [2]+The person who sits near me hasn’t shut up tonight. We were doing movie trivia and he started asking questions he found on the internet and acting like he knew every answer. It’s just the way he is, he grates on everyones nerves. AND THEN! To top it all off, I just read an article that Kevin Smith is going to do a preview/premiere showing of his new movie right down the street .. TWO WEEKS after I move 25 hours away back home. Ugh. Oh well, just had to get that off my chest.
My car is working better and on it’s way back to being legal. Had to send my insurance/registration up to Michigan so a friend could renew it for me. Costing me a lot of extra $$ because I need a car, so I had it over-nighted. Ah well, it’s worth it. Only a few days left of work and I won’t be able to post overnight like this anymore as I am guessing my new job won’t be this uh, easy or computer accessable.
I listened to Plume and Pissant for the first time in quite a while yesterday. They just came on randomly and brought a huge smile to my face. They aren’t \"timeless\" but they bring back plenty of wonderful memories and just made my day better. Odd how songs you know so well can still have such an effect on you.
Thought for the night: You know why men can lean on our sides much easier then women? We’ve got kick stands.
Just a quick note. I got the 20th anniversary contest as a sticky on SP board at blamo. .. Did I forget anything? Still bugging Aaron to get the link to spfreaks put on the main site. So I’m predicting sometime in early 2009 it’ll be there.
It’s Friday! But I have to come in on Saturday and make up some time.
But it works out well, because I’ll be able to say goodbye to a lot of dayshift people that I don’t normally see. Plus, that night I’m going to see a symphany that is playing the entire Rubber Soul album! Hopefully they’ll play a little more then that because if they play the American version, it’s only 12 song, but if they play the UK version it’s 14 and includes Drive My Car and Nowhere Man! .. But it doesn’t have I’ve Just Seen a Face which is US only for that and it’s my favorite track on there. I’m so torn. 
As a going away present, a friend of mine here bought me a ticket to see the Toadies! Should be awesome fun. The time before I go home is coming at a very rapid pace now. The cash for the trip is looking extra good though, I just hope gas prices keep dropping the way they are.

I watched Tropic Thunder last night and it wasn’t everything I had hoped. It was great and I laughed a lot, but my friends made it out to be the funniest movie ever. Bleh. I should start writing movie reviews, I watch enough of them. Thought for the night: My posts in the thoughts thread are always so much longer then everyone elses. Does that mean that I think too much?

I swear it was just Friday! Ah well. Slow night tonight at work and I’m in a good mood. By the way Arthur, I have yet to pitch to Aaron about posting about the contest. He’s never online when I am and he hasn’t answered his phone. I’m all about posting it, but since it’s from another site, gotta ask him to be safe. I’m pretty positive he won’t care at all if I do, but never hurts to ask.
I played so much Rock Band this weekend. That includes taking a day off in between and just playing Civilization. I think someone is going to throw a Rock Band going away party for me in a couple weeks.. WOOT! I haven’t had a party dedicated to me ever since a birthday in my teens. Are most people on here not from the US? It seems like whenever I post noone is ever on, but when I wake up in the morning it’s like posts galore.
