Bah, I’m just getting slow in my old age. Why back in my day, I walked barefoot 3 hours uphill to the library in the snow, so I could log on with a 14.4 connection and update Siva. Young whippersnappers always showing up the old school crowd.

http://www.ozphoria.com/ linked us in a homepage article (scroll down a bit) called

Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin interview on Mancow.com

    8) Manilla 8) found that interview and published it here, and quickly SP.com and Ozphoria followed…[/quote:1n50atxn]

Welcome to the board, as I am quite new here myself.

Careful if you keep posting here, this place is somehow quite addictive.

    Oh and Happy Birthday!

It’s finally friday and work is almost over. I’m excited for next weekend. There is a string quartet playing the entire Rubber Soul (Beatles) album next Saturday. $15 for a ticket, friend and I are going. It shall be marvelous! The stress from the move is going away, a lot of my concerns were answered or fixed, so le sigh, much better.

By the way, in case people missed it, I keep seeing myself called niteshyft. Just call me Josh, just a normal guy from Michigan, that seems to be in the middle of the ages here, as I’m 29. Looked back at the \"how old are you?\" thread and saw Arthur’s age  Surprised he can help run a website at that age. My ceiling is fixed and no more water problems. Life is going good. I realized the other day that it’s been almost 3 years since I’ve been on a date (I’m divorced and decided to take a break). I wonder if by moving back to Michigan perhaps I should actually make an effort again.

Last thought for the day… Why is it that we park in a driveway and drive on a parkway?

Thanks for the replies to my post, didn’t expect that many. And uh, Arthur.. Aaron doesn’t pay me. Anything I’ve ever done SP related has all been free and because I wanted to. ;) The insurance mess was cleared up, I am just going to pay back my uncle over time (I pushed for this) and that’s that. If the Flo girl on the Progressive commercials wasn’t so hot, I’d change insurance. To add to my list of annoyances, work is becoming strenuous as time is winding down. I think the less time I have left, the less I want to be here (which is a good thing I guess)

Today, as I sat playing Rock Band with some friends online, I heard what sounded like a faucet running in my bathroom. After the song, I went to see how it started running by itself and found a caved in area in my ceiling almost over my shower pouring out water. Seems something busted upstairs inbetween floors and the person living above me took a shower and here came the water. My cat was perturbed at me, as I grabbed the plastic bag out of her litter box and used the box itself as a bucket to catch all the water cascading down. It’ll be fixed tomorrow. Oh yeah, my cat is an indoor cat, I remember someone asked that. She has more personality then any girl I’ve ever dated and is more fussy then any of them too.

Last thought for the day… Is it Friday yet?

    Siamese Dream
    Pisces Iscariot
    Gish
    Mellon Collie
    T.A.F.H.
    Adore
    Machina II
    Machina
    Zeitgeist

I consider TAFH as album (as a whole) only because I’ll pop in those cd’s before ones below it in the list. Oddly enough, outside of Machina II/Machina, that is the exact order I bought the albums. Also, just cause they’re low on the list doesn’t mean that I hate them, I can listen to any of them and be happy.

Feel the need to actually follow the thread title and post my thoughts. A sort of \"get off my chest\".

I’m stressed when I shouldn’t be. I’m finally moving back home on Sept 5th after almost two years of being down in Texas working (I moved from Michigan down here because I couldn’t find consistant work up there). I’m leaving a job I’m extremely comfortable in and leaving a couple of great friends I’ve made. It seemed like an eternity until I was going to leave when I first found out a couple weeks ago that I have a job waiting back in Michigan, now I feel like I’m running out time to get things done that I need to. I still need to get an apartment up there, but can’t sign a lease. Having a cat that doesn’t like moving and hates the cat carrier is making it more difficult to just pop a squat somewhere for a couple days until I can. My hand is still healing after over two weeks of being home from trying to get my cat in the carrier to take her home. She literally bit through a thick towel and left 8 gaping holes in my right hand. I gave up that night when I started to bleed profusely and ran to the bathroom. Peroxide & bandages ftw.

I found out today that my uncle who helped me move down by paying for my car insurance a couple of months (I had no job at the time) may have been paying for my insurance the entire time, while I paid for someone else’s?! I feel horrible about this and the insurance company is more confused then I am. I’m also not looking forward to the 25 hours of driving it will take to get home, as I can hardly stand being in a car longer then 5 hours before going utterly stir crazy.

I do not feel odd typing out this post for this board. Which in turn makes me feel odd that it doesn’t. The crowd here is so laid back and generally nice that made it so I knew I could. Well, other then Bram, but he’s cool in my book.

For those of you that aren’t really aware of me, I help run Siva with Aaron and contacted Arthur a little while ago with information corrections on his site. Lingered over to the boards and now visit them daily. I don’t purposely lurk, I just don’t often have time to post. Honestly, I like the attitude and people over here better then the site I even work on! It’s refreshing to see fans that don’t nitpick everything Billy does and still enjoy the music regardless of the era. If you read all of this, then congrats, it’s long-winded. But I hope to become a regular poster on here and get to know others better.

Around 1991 when I was in the world of BBS’s my \"handle\" was FaZe. As time progressed and I became involved in \"learning by entering other systems\" I decided my handle should have a last name. Since I was always online at night and I had spelled phase differently, I decided to use nightshift and spell it as I have it. I kept using that name for a few years until the domain faze.com was registered by someone else before I could get it (he actually gave me faze@faze.com when I contacted him about the name itself and was a heck of a nice guy). Feeling the name was being commercially used, I dropped the FaZe part and became niteshyft. So I think I’ve used this name for almost 13 years now. Ironically, I now work on the night shift, so it almost seems appropriate :D

Talk about modest ;) You have some pretty unique info that no other SP sites have. I spent quite a bit of time meandering around the site. It’s pretty obvious how much work has been put in to it and so it’ll be showcased. Take your quasi-celebrity status and enjoy it! :D Or hide from it like some of us….

That… is pretty cool indeed. Being mentioned together on the same line with those other 3 that are 100 times bigger member-wise, it really means something. :D

Jimmy looks like he’s leaning to the side to let one go lol

Other then that, I am anxious to hear the song myself. I can’t help but think of the \"G.L.O.W.\" wrestling organization everytime I see the title. Knowing Billy’s love for wrestling, if this song is about a woman kicking ass, then we’ll know what the title refers to lol

    Hey Arthur,

Talked to Aaron today, he’s going to link you on the site also. He’s just lazy sometimes :D Just wandered over here to see what you’ve got and looks excellent.
