philSpectatorFUCKING. EXCELLENT.
I haven’t replied to anything in a while- but I have been lurking… (paranoid yet anyone ?)… but this… BUT -THIS-… THESE were by FAR worth signing in for and commenting on!
FUCKING. FANTASTIC.
I’m very happy… I’d only be happier to get G.L.OW, Superchrist, and all the rest of these fabulous fuckers on an album. Yes I will continue to swear out of irritable happiness and so-forth… MP3 Format is all well and good, but my pride lies in the CD’s I summon the money for to purchase and consume… and share!
Very happy indeed, nevertheless. Very freakin’ happy. Happier still when I can proudly march into Real Groovy knowing the presence of Corgan has been there, and purchase the latest pieces of general… awesome.
Billy also looks in terrific form, Heck- I like this skirt even better then the metallic one!
Very happy.
philSpectatorThis is Andy of Combichrist being more aggrotech than thou
[/quote:poia3ig2]Someone in front of you looks like they’re going for that nice young man with the mic’s nipples.
I just had to point that one out.
philSpectatorI severely regret the moment I decided to attempt to slot bunnies into the ‘cute’ category.
philSpectatorWow-
Hmn.
I understand, and agree with you Manilla. But in saying that- If I had the choice to listen to G.L.O.W or any other Smashing Pumpkins single now, or say in a couple of months, I would always -always- choose the sooner.
It’s not so much that I don’t mind waiting for it, as it is I’d prefer to have it now.
After all, waiting is one of my least favourite things. From for toast, to traffic lights and online orders. And listening to the Pumpkins is of course, one of my favourites.
-I can wait. I’m not saying I can’t. I’m just thinking here and now rather then then and later.
After all… would you rather see Billy preform say a week from now or in three months?
philSpectatorAlways nice to know someone out there has gone through the same kind of hell as me.
Share the love.
Love. Virus. Same thing.
In the past week my goldfish Gavin and my hot water bottle have become my best companions. They never complain that they might catch something!
I’m very lucky to have them.
-Good Luck with the break Arthur. You certainly deserve it. Especially after all this inner stress. Urgh. Terrible topic.
philSpectator
philSpectatorI confess…
I confessssss…
That I cried for two days after my first Smashing Pumpkins concert…. ALSO- I’ve only been to ONE.
Big confession on here.

And I found the coloured version!
philSpectatorJames: Mnn…. Snowy.
2008.06.16 at 11:23 am in reply to: What are you gonna do till the new single comes out in Sept? #17582
philSpectatorWhen I get it- I’m going to head to the beach with my dog, and smirk my way though a new satisfyingly awesome smashing Pumpkins session.
YES SMIRK I SAY. Because I’ll be in the know.
And then expose it’s expected general coolness-ness to my friends and family, whether they want to hear it or not.
HA!
Does anyone have -any- idea of what kind of song it’ll be? Or, what they’d -like- it to be ‘like’?
philSpectator… Bah. Sorry, I love to rant. And it’s much better to do so online with people who actually appreciate The Smashing Pumpkins- instead of just abusing the fans.
FREAKS OVER FANS! [/quote:2ovv3krw]
You should read my 20th anniversary rant, you might enjoy it. [/quote:2ovv3krw]Oh I’m keen. Link avaliable?
-ALSO. I KNOW OF THIS SO CALLED CAPTAIN Z. WITH FOUL RECOLLECTION.
And, he may just be the main reason I moved onto this site. In fact. He is.
Curse Z.
philSpectatorOkay: I’m barging in…
Here’s the Phil list of awesomeness: (In no particular order)-
Fleetwood Mac
Joy Division
Led Zeppelin
The Mint Chicks (Fantastic NZ band I’m sure no one here has ever even heard the name of before asides when used by another group of talentless fools…)
Mars Volta
Moby
Nirvana
Pink Floyd
Queens of the Stone Age (I saw these guys SUPPORTING the Smashing Pumpkins! They were damn fantastic! But their fans were fucking -horrendous- most of the few ‘hard-core’ SP fans who were at the front waiting for them to come on got totally smashed! Including myself/my ribcage. I had bruises from the barrier for days after over my ribs- but it was -damn- worth it seeing Billy a mere meter away. And hearing him over everything/all the fans/etc even when the mic/speakers cuts out. Though I did have to survive though an hour of intense, crazed moshing fans, and crazy… drugs being thrown around and in mouths etc… which… obviously didn’t help. Or make them any less crazy.)Anyhow…
Radiohead
Royksopp
Scorpions
Sex Pistols
The Shins
Sigur Ros
U2
The Beatles (Of course…)
The White Stripes
Wolfmother
Cat Stevens
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Dragon (Another NZ’er NOT AUSTRALIAN. Jeeze…)
Muse
Faithless
The Who
Incubus
Ok goand Vargo.
Also! Not only are there no such things as ‘JC pennies’ (which… is?…) or ‘Waffle houses’ here (or… twinkies… or… what-not…) where I live. But- on the OTHER hand, I AM lucky enough to have a boss who appreciates good music. Or at least, ever since I brought him in my ‘Adore’ album two months after I started working.
He adores The Smashing Pumpkins now… with… almost as much intensity as I do. Which is oddly, awesome. And he happily plays the CD’s during store hours. Which is awesome. Hearing Billy Corgan in ‘Hell’ and whatnot-
…

And there’s my contribution!
philSpectatorGotta say BWBW – Absolutely positively. Or ‘ZERO’. would, also, be awesome. XD
philSpectatorI enjoy posting on there personally. Sometimes… But there are -often- some serious douchebags who think their opinion is law, and anyone else’s is totally ‘NOT VALID’.
Well, screw them. If I think Adore is my favourite album, it’s true. Because it’s personal opinion- not a vote.
Also- I’m really into hating the haters that sign up, and blast their thoughts on every topic just to ‘prove everyone wrong’ and state over and over again that the Smashing Pumpkins, used to be awesome, and now … well, usually they say something along the lines of…
\"uhr… Ziet…Giests.. suks…\"
(Uh… correction… you’re… wrong. In so many ways, I won’t bother to explain/AKA: Siamese Dream isn’t the only great thing that came from the earlier Pumpkin rain)
Idiots. If you don’t like ’em now, that’s your loss/good for you. Keep with the memories and songs you once used to enjoy, enjoy them on your own, and stop trying to bring everyone else/remaining/current fans down!
… Bah. Sorry, I love to rant. And it’s much better to do so online with people who actually appreciate The Smashing Pumpkins- instead of just abusing the fans.
FREAKS OVER FANS!
philSpectatorYou can just imagine what the guy is thinking….:
\"Oh ho ho ho, no, I’m not taking a leak– I’m merely checking my club! oh ho ho ho. How discrete. No one will ever know I’m pissing inside a golf club while they’re waiting to tee off…
THANK YOU URO CLUB! MY EMBARASSING DAYS AS A SENIOR CITIZEN WITH BLADDER PROBLEMS ARE OVER!!!\"
philSpectator..
philSpectatorSo- I have a question:
Do any of you post on the Offical Smashing Pumpkins Website?- Or… what not? Create topics, ask questions Or respond to any birthday wishes and what-not for Jimmy and the crew?
philSpectatorSuddenly I was oh-so-tempted to just go nuts and post thirty copies of each emoticon in this reply…
but then I remembered I want people to like having me here.
-So unless I get the honor of sunglasses smiley, I’ll leave the smiley’s be from hence forth.
(To… an excessive amount at least)
philSpectator
philSpectator
philSpectator
philSpectatorOh jeeze. Thanks for warning me about the whole AVOID-SUNGLASSES-EMOTICON-AT-ALL-COSTS ‘rule’. I’d have hated to offend anyone. Especially on arrival.
However… now… it’s more tempting then ever before to use it.
Hmn…
No. I won’t. Tempting as it is. And man- suddenly it’s oh so tempting. (In such a strange and sudden manner might I add…) I’ll just use this one instead: (seeing as I too, have an excuse now to use it. Bwha) =
-Anyhow, helloooo everyone. I think I might just go and abuse some SP photos or something similar via the site shortly…
Or, is there some sort of… initiation I must endure before I do so? Wooden Paddles? Etc?
(Oh jeeze… another Emoticon… this is a poor start.)
philSpectatorEasier said then done-…
Kidding! I’m sure I’ll have a simply spectacular time in company of other Freaks. It’s truly expected, I assure you!
Thanks for the welcome yo. And, of course, thanks for not mentioning that the over-whelming use of the ’emoticons/smiley’s’ is certainly not welcome here. (Resource: My first two posts here- ha.) I’ve gone a bit over board I must admit. Just trying to be friendly- I assure you.
-Okay. No more emoticons….
