ArthurSpectatorbut after all it was decided they are (again) not released, as far as we know now.[/quote:2faxw2od]
but the ava adore remix will be on the adore reissue in september, right?
or has the tracklist been updated again, now without the ava adore remix?[/quote:2faxw2od]
Oops, my mistake. You’re right, one of the Puffy remixes of Ava Adore will be released. I’m presuming it’s one the four remixes that we know of.2014.08.04 at 7:26 am in reply to: What is the latest Pumpkins related item you bought? (cont.) #46031
ArthurSpectator– Tristessa 7" on Greg vinyl[/quote:yp2vrovp]
I had no idea Mr Bates was into pressing vinyl? Nice find otherwise!
ArthurSpectatorIt was posted before in another thread:

Not Perfect remix – just Ava Adore…hmmm[/quote:1sac9oje]
Yeah, that’s what I meant, but I didn’t search that long ago. Thanks for finding it! So here we are, Billy clearly knew/knows about the Puffy remixes of both Perfect and Ava Adore, but after all it was decided they are (again) not released, as far as we know now. And I’m having hard times thinking Billy doesn’t know about these (type of inhouse) promos, because that’s what labels always do. Always, for every artist.
ArthurSpectatorHe was pretty convincing. I told him they have been on YouTube for awhile. He asked if it sounded like Puffy.
I have never heard him talk about the Perfect Puffy Remixes either. Could be possible he didn’t know
Arthur- Which sounds better between the 2 Puffy tracks? Do you think the "Puffy Perfect Remixes" were scrapped purposely?[/quote:1vxupfhd]
I thought I remembered Billy tweeting about the Puffy remixes when he started working on the Adore reissue, but I couldn’t find it back. So I might be wrong. I have no clue why they weren’t released, the ‘too much money involved’ reason sounds plausible, because these remixes are actually not that bad.
ArthurSpectatormaybe this can be added to the information in the spfreaks.com collection?

Will update tonight. This is from a small batch of items that I send in for the Memorabilia Mondays. Although the middleman said that Billy had not so much information on the things I send in, to my pleasant surprise I found this one online though. [/quote:29iwuhql]
Done! Thanks for the heads up, Cool.

ArthurSpectatoror were you waiting for an upgrade?[/quote:1wp3edb8]
Yup, that’s it. It’s my favorite rendition of X.Y.U., happy to have a proper quality version soon.
ArthurSpectatorHi Hyde,
It’s hard to find for sure. I don’t have it, so I tried Discogs (not offered as far as I can see) and the label Blood Loss Alliance does not exist anymore and their website has been taken down. It’s not on eBay currently either… Good luck finding this rare CD!
Arthur
ArthurSpectatorNoticed that yeah lol!
It might be a wrong tracklist anyway, Billy tweeted this today:
\"AND btw, Amazon track list is WRONG. I’m just saying…\"
ArthurSpectatorI mean that.
ArthurSpectator\"a cat will dance in a sun bathe\"
Awesome, also how you put the title of it at the end…

ArthurSpectatorNice find, if it is truely a New Zealand pressing!
ArthurSpectatorCould whoever is doing the SPfreaks email please respond re: the Rolling Stone magazine article?[/quote:23ddq9ig]
It was forwarded to me by the Mysterious Freak Force, and the answer would be: yes please, the cover + full article!
ArthurSpectatori found him a copy on eBay already $2[/quote:1z1c0p1x]
Freak! (a very helpful one though)
ArthurSpectatoryou can get to the original images if you have a look at the source code of that webpage[/quote:2yybcgbq]
Freak!
ArthurSpectatorAlso Arthur suggested it would be acoustic/heavy rock in a previous thread.[/quote:3oyy82bn]
That was just a wild guess, you know…
ArthurSpectatorI found my copy loooong time ago on eBay. Maybe it’s worthwhile an effort to ask all sellers on eBay if it is the clean copy they’re offering? Just a suggestion…
ArthurSpectatorThe official 1994 had no barcode, this one hasn’t either. It’s a boot for 99.9% sure, but I had asked for the matrix code of the CD (the official matrix code is ‘DPRO12694-2 MO L4A17N Y 2-1-2 EMI JAX’) to be absolutely sure. Hence the text \"under investigation\". The contributor did not reply yet, though.
ArthurSpectatorI was looking up SP tarot stuff and noticed this info has 3 missing images: http://www.spfreaks.com/?page=COLLDETAILS&item=2213
They can be found here under Galerie II – http://www.nachtkabarett.com/SmashingPu … od/Galerie
(The Lovers, The Tower and Two of Disks)[/quote:3a7zis8z]
Nice find, however, I cannot download these pics? Can you? Tried with Chrome and Internet Explorer, but the (rather small, after clicking on them they are slightly bigger but still very small) pics have no download/save option available. I tried to make a screen capture (Prt Sc = Print Screen) but then the quality is VERY ugly…
ArthurSpectatorFake. Nuff said.
ArthurSpectatorExactly. And how does us proceed then?
ArthurSpectatorAwesome, I’m in.
ArthurSpectatorMy copy #25 has the name Jess Kangle. It sucks realizing this is a boot.
ArthurSpectatorMost probably real stones, but I doubt it being skulls, let alone alien skulls. Prove me wrong though, I would love to have an alien as a great-great-etc. grandfather!
ArthurSpectatorI like the idea of a currency away from the centralised banks.[/quote:2y6i19p9]
Yeah, that’s part of the big idea behind those cryptocurrencies. Be your own bank, and use your money as you like. It’s ultracheap and superfast, almost like cash transactions to anyone somewhere on the globe. It’s still in its infancy though, the bad actors like Mt. Gox (Japanese exchange, went bankrupt last month), still needs to be kicked out of the basket, and a solid worldwide infrastucture should be build instead. However, on a sidenote, I noticed the number of users of bitcoin is growing rapidly (some online bitcoin wallet/trading place in the US is registering 5 new members per minute they state), and merchants are rolling in by the thousands per week these days, after TigerDirect and Overstock decided to accept bitcoin as a payment option in January. And there are almost 100 exchanges worldwide for buying bitcoins. Venture capitalists in Asia, US and elsewhere are investing like crazy in the bitcoin community. So yeah, maybe soon we can pay for Smashing Pumpkins items with these crypto things. Maybe on Amazon this year, or next year?
