Has anyone heard if Jimmy had anything done while off tour?!?! (procedures) I wasn’t sure if he needed to have anything done, or just some R&R.

My opinion here is this, i would rather see BC and the crew wear more of a regular outfit. The costumes are OK i guess, but i prefer the old days. Give me some silver pants and a black ZERO shirt, and i’ll be fine.

Well, ive listened to MCR for a few weeks now, trying to get a good feel for them. To me , idont really see many similarities at all. The drum parts are so much more…..basic than Pumpkins, the vocals have NO similar style, nor does the musics emotion. MCR doesnt seem bad at all, but not similar to SP.

I have some info here. At first, BC and JC camped out at a ranch in North Scottsdale, Arizona to get some old feelings back, get the SP sound back. It was an old horse property on 5 acres. They set up the drums and guitar rigs in the Dining room of the residence. They spent a total of 6 weeks there, of which BC says the first 3 weeks were a time that all they were creating was too similar to the 93′ and 98′ Pumpkins, nothiing new. THen after that, the new sound they were looking for came out.

After those 6 weeks, BC and JC came back home to \"Carrie’s\" ( home where they laid down some tracks, studio) with about 18-19 demos. By the time theyt left there to go to \"The Alley\" (studio), they had a total of 30 final demos. This was in February. The recording of Zeitgeist was then taken down to the track list(s) we all know and love. Zeitgeist was recorded on the same 24 track tape machine that MCIS was recorded on. There are only a few of these still used in recording these days. Most have gone to newer methods of recording such as \"Protools\". Well, a little info right? THis is all in the \" Inside The Zeitgeist\" DVD that comes with the Silver version.. Later all

in reply to: Are you religious? Do you believe in god(s)? #5179

This is kind of a strange topic for me… throughout my life, i have been through phases of belief, and also of non-belief. I have seen things like when my Grandmother passed away, and i saw the color come back to her pale face…i saw the look of agony change into a bright smile…i saw an end to misery. I have always had a feeling of \" God is something to look forward to at the end, a comfrting thought to help ease the trasfer from life to death, Nothing more.\" We all live(be it Christian, Athiest, Black, White, Orange, or Blue) in a world where ppl need structure, somewhere to belong, a club of shared feeling and similarity. Some ppl truly feel for what joins them together, others only believe in what they are told to believe in. That is where the problem lies. I have a friend that is a Pastor here in Toledo, and i ask him off the wall questions sometimes to hear the answer he gives ( not to disprove him or be rude, just to dig deeper into his thoughts of what it meens to be \"Christian or religious\"). Some answers he gives, and stands by, are my reasons why i dont fully find myself religious.

    1) If you dont go to church, your not truly religious, and God doesn’t either. But if you go and drop a $20 bill in the pot at church, your saved????

    2) My brother-in-law works his ass to the bone, has kids to take care of, goes to church ALL THE TIME, and is asked to give a percentage of his earnings to the church, as well as his free time???

    3) If someone has a dream about another person sexually, you should awake youyr spouse from sleep, and tell her/him, and ask for forgiveness??? (thats not a fight waiting to happen!!!)

I want to know one thing, when is the last time God asked you for money?

I have so many other thoughts here, but i will save them til later… Im torn here!!
