PPS-Arthur/Bram, whose uploading these days? That’s who I’ll send to. Thanks![/quote:39bh4d8j]
Send to me please. The new server only allows me to log on with a remote session to do the uploads. RedWolf is working on an improved Access tool for us. Might take a while… So in the meantime I’ll try to catch up.

Nice nice nice, I’m a tattoo man myself, and you have just become my 5 star friend. The others got a 1 from me, for obvious reasons. Good luck with this competition TonightTonight!

For the date (28th Dec), perhaps they thinked release the siamese single boxset at the end of 1993 (for Xmas  ) ?[/quote:il7x8nzr]
In UK and most other (if not all) countries, Xmas is on the 25th and 26th of December. Releasing it on the 28th of 1993 would be just in time for Xmas 1994 then… :P

I’m not sure if cds are used as a master to press vinyl also… My best guess is that this is a reference cd for band/label people for the upcoming release of the Rocket vinyl single. Maybe you can ask your seller about it, where it came from?

Nice nice nice manilla! Those cds you mention that are missing, are on the left of your pc where you ripped them a while back. 8)

The ID suggests that this has something to do with the 7". A cd release would have gotten an different release code.[/quote:2pcla3h1]
This is the only reference I can see to the UK Rocket vinyl, which was indeed released as HUTL 48. I’ll change the text.

But maybe the release date of the Siamese Singles vinyl boxes should be adjusted a little also? They are now set to Summer 1994 (July) and a testpressing of the Rocket vinyl was set to June 1994, because I read somewhere that the Siamese Singles vinyl boxes hit the shelves in Summer 1994. What do the vinyl experts recollect in this matter?

Oh, a funny thing I just noticed: the US Rocket cd promo is set to 1993/12/28 (same date is mentioned on the HUT acetate we discuss here). Could it be that it is just the date of the promo cd itself?

I’m not sure about the text on that listing. Rocket WAS released as a single in the UK, it was just vinyl only. I don’t see anything to suggest this disc wasn’t just related to that rather than being for a cd single issue. Given the tracklistings of the other SD singles I’d expect a cd to have at least 3 tracks. 2 tracks suggests a 7" related release to me.[/quote:mzrsl01j]
Rocket was released in Australia as a 2 tracker (same tracks as on this acetate), same for other Australian cd singles like Siva and Bullet With Butterfly Wings.

Just because someone can paint well (and Della obviously can), doesn’t make her a comic. I think that’s asking too much. And for free. :S[/quote:1i6n3zr1]

That’s what I mean, I’ll see what I can do. Doing a very quick sketch and wash might not be so bad ;) But you are right, comics are a completely different thing that I’ve never done before. Layouts can be hell. I have a friend who works for Marvel and it’s one of those things that always amaze me[/quote:1i6n3zr1]
Don’t feel pushed, I’m only trying to bring you to the next level with your art. It’s a (bad? good?) habit of me. You judge…

I can try to think of a funny line that might inspire you to a drawing? Just an idea…

Several of the people on here have other SP related artwork… so I thought it would be nice to have a thread for that.

I just did this speed painting (2 hours) to just keep warm with watercolors

Della, I dare you: create a weekly Smashing Pumpkins comic with an intelligent story, all episodes to be published here and/or on SP.com. If you feel like that I’ll contact them on SP.com about it, for a next round of cooperation between SPfreaks.com and SP.com. Your work is, again, awesome.

here’s what happens in my search for the New Songs cd to add to my collection

    http://www.spfreaks.com/default.aspx?pa … NDEX&cat=3

    WTF??[/quote:1fi30yjn]
 Wrong category, silly! It’s not an official CD, but a bootie!

Set Category to "CDs (Non-Official)", also set Title to "New Songs" and click the button "Apply". 3 cds will appear, right? Now use the almost hidden, undocumented feature (so far  ) which is the button "more info on SPfreaks" that appears down left and click it. Yes, it’s a button! It creates the proper link on top to the search results. In this case it is:

    [url:1fi30yjn]http://www.spfreaks.com/?page=collindex&rp=15|0|374|0|0|0|0||1|DateOfRelease|ASC|0[/url:1fi30yjn]

Now go adding your item to My Collection. Hope it works now Reggaeluv2000?

Oh, for the record: they did a few Earphoria promos that are looking like booties, but in fact they are genuine 2002 promos from other countries. A few examples:

    France (very rare to find)

    United Kingdom (ditto)

Japan (very different colorscheme & artwork, no inside ring!)

Argentina (very different colorscheme & artwork)
