Prins Willem-Alexander van Oranjes "Asjemenou" Afterparty, April 30, Amsterdam.[/quote:110gzb3n]
    This cracked me

@manillascissor: Queen Beatrix of Holland just announced she is going to retire, and her son Prince Willem is going to take the throne on April 30. SP playing on the royal "oh my god" afterparty would bring a huge smile on my face.

Yup. One used, one sealed. The sealed one is for trade.

arthur, how did you end up with a spare deluxe edition? and is it the US or the EU 5cd+1dvd release?[/quote:3hip5gpi]
Well, it went like this. I ordered one for the contest we did last year on our WordPress blog. Just to have it at home in time, and being able to ship it asap the contest winner was known. Then I couldn’t find a cheaper one in the weeks after, and I decided to order one extra for myself. That was at Amazon Canada. I noticed they didn’t add the second order to the first order, and I was about to pay double shipment if I did nothing. So I send them an email asking to fix it (the shopping basket did not have an option for that, at least I couldn’t find it) and they send an email back to me one or two days later that it was fixed.

Then I received an email confirmation at the date it was shipped, and I noticed that the ‘fix’ included adding another deluxe box to my order, making up to a total of three deluxe boxes being shipped (and billed too)! I decided to leave it like that… :)

It is the US box, by the way.

well, arthur, i went ahead and ordered one copy from this austrian website. shipping was only 3 euro. (i didn’t see any deals for free shipping.)

today i’m the proud owner of the EU deluxe edition of the mcis reissue.
and that for only 23 euro. that’s even cheaper than the 25 euro i spent on the US vinyl set.[/quote:2t0vx0qz]

I might order a box there also then, to have both the US and the EU version.

i checked that gold gish promo auction, and it was listed as "gold cd", but not as a "promo". on top of that, it was only listed on the american ebay. and if i’m not mistaken, the starting bid was $9, but it also had a buy-it-now for $20. so you were probably the first person to check out that auction and do the logical thing.[/quote:w9pvga2g]
Right. I got a shock seeing it, and being able to grab it, let me tell you. It was one of my top 5 most wanted CDs.

I was trying the Judas 0 Masterdisk for a while (and was highest bidder for a while), but after 70 pound I stopped. It went for 100 something I noticed. I found that too much.

Last year I bought the Gish Gold disc for around 20 dollar (less than 5% of the latest auction). I was lucky because the header of the auction description didn’t say anything about gold disc. I checked the pics, however, and it turned out it was the gold disc. Again, I was very lucky. :)

    Update on my Asian section:

Greatest Hits Thailand promo for 14 Euro including shipment. With these prices collecting is fun. :)

    Didnt see that one.

The cover of mine isnt too bad, it has a noticable crease on the bottom right corner and small one near the middle, but hey, it doesnt bother me, not everything i own has to be mint[/quote:32oei9dq]
Yeah exactly. I have a far-from-mint copy of Siva Australia, and I’m not looking for a replacement.

TicketAlarm just send me an email about these dates:

    20.06.2013 Köln
09.07.2013 Esch Alzette / Luxemburg (new date!)
    10.07.2013 Wien

Luxemburg is 3.5 – 4 hrs drive from my place, I considered that in 2007 too… But ended up going to Pinkpop NL instead. Let’s see what other dates/venues pop up. So far Köln is the best option (2.5 hrs drive).

Not really a bargain, but not bad either, in my opinion.

I’m hoping to find it someday on a record fair for a good price. And I have several French music stores looking out for it, but I never hear back from them. It’s certainly very rare.

Have to get myself an avatar…[/quote:2d4bom32]

With their new album – Black Waltz – Avatar is once again standing on the front line, ready to fight for everything insane. By having the courage to let the music take them wherever it needs to go they’ve reached lands and soundscapes never seen or heard of before. They play the soundtrack to the end of world and give you the greatest show of the apocalypse.

Thanks for stepping out of the shadow. Back then I wanted to bid on it, but I was too late. This time I made a gentleman’s agreement with the buyer not to bid, who informed me about his/her intentions.

Back then it went for 60 something Euro, I remember that quite clearly. That’s a bargain. Congrats Jesus loves his crazies!

Excellent interview and he seems very happy with where he is now :)

I don’t like how Grungereport.net twisted his words into their heading (typical journalism though)
    http://grungereport.net/?p=19944

he said it can stand next to the monumental masterpiece that is MCIS – and that his latest effort doesn’t need any talk of ‘existing alongside’ – so it’s not quite the same.[/quote:35z1c8ri]
I noticed that too, and I couldn’t help but reply. :P
