(already 6 dvds with videos and 1300 photos)

I loved your pics, especially the first one.[/quote:2r58pzcx]
Thanks, I went to Asia many many times since 1991, and I think I beat you big time with number of pics… No videos however, there you beat me… But hey, this is not a race, it’s just great to travel and see other countries! I have always used travelling to meet new cultures and see other places that are sometimes so strange, so weird… It made me kinda humble, I de-stressed also and even better… It makes you realise that what we selfish and greedy Western people have here, is not the ultimate truth. Well, hard to explain what I mean here.

But Pipoka, to have that many dvds and pics in just 1 week, you must have been running around like a Japanese with 6 cameras! Are you going to post a few more here, for us to enjoy? Would be cool!

My girlfriend said I already went too far saying she has a sexy outfit.

I asked her to get the same dress then with my creditcard, but she slapped my face instead. :?

Dazey, good to see you back so fast again, even if it is from a craptop.

Be strong my friend. Whenever you are ready to pick up that webmaster job again, give us a shout. We will then start (over-)paying you also again. I’m sure you understand we had to order our Payroll Dept. to stop any salary payments your way, since you disappeared so suddenly. But well, no hard feelings I hope. 8)

Yeah that came in alright. It’s on the todo list, together with some 40-50 other recent arrivals. I had planned to upload it last weekend, but the unplanned (but pleasant anyway!) stay of a friend from Paris came inbetween.

You can always check the 15 latest uploads here. But it goes fast sometimes… or a bit slow sometimes!

Yeah same opinion here I guess… Sometimes I like to say \"music is my religion, and the rock guitar is my altar\", but well, that’s just when I’m being a bit silly. But it’s somewhat true however.

Haha, yeah, that’s true… But if I was going to bid on that item, I would be a bit more secretive about it, and not post it here. It’s a snakepit of collectors here sometimes…

This is meant for the vinyl collectors, which I’m not.

    Are you Buddhist Arthur?[/quote:2pivbdqq]
Honest answer? No. I’m non-religious and actually very negative about ALL religions. Buddhism however, attracts me as a life style, a way of life. I respect their rather peaceful opinions and some other points of view very much. I’m critical about their treatment of women sometimes (not allowed to have higher positions in the monasteries for example) and also I’m not into the re-birth theme so much. But what I do like is their way of having many different teachers (buddhas) where every individual can learn from, with a real life teacher or not. Also I like very much their respect for animals, as they think an animal is equally important as a human being. Well, lots to tell about this subject I guess.

You asked for favourite pics huh… here are mine. I took them in 2003 in the north of India. It aren’t that good pics (except the 3rd one, I like that one very much), but it’s the memory that goes with it… Organizing an expedition myself with 5 people, a buddhist guide and his assistent, and some donkeys to carry the luggage (tents, sleeping bags, food, water, etc.) and then climb the Stok Kangri in 5 days. Awesome trip, will never forget that. The eternal snow, the impressive Himalaya mountains, minus 20 degrees at night and still holding on, that last 250 meters to the top that took over 2 hours to climb… Anyway, enjoy the few pics!

Leh Valley view from a monastery

Us on top of the Stok Kangri, 6125 mtr (I’m the guy on the right, only 4 out of 7 made it  )

I mean, you did a find over there that will possibly shock the archaeological world?

Yeah that’s pretty cool indeed. As PMM said \"Hopefully all of the major sites will be represented, but ultimately it will be based on the applicants’ writing style and compatibility.\", so I do hope both ThePumpkins.net and us will be represented.

I never thought sp.com would consider us to be 1 of the \"major sites\", so that’s cool also. 8)

I think I’m going to stop this Smashing Pumpkins shopping spree for a bit now.

OK we know for sure. Sven will (hopefully) be SPfreaks.com’s representitive on sp.com. This is a part of the email I just received from their Media Dept.

\"Your essays were read and Sven’s ended up rising to the occasion. It was not likely that we would have more than one writer from any one website, so please understand. Hopefully all of the major sites will be represented, but ultimately it will be based on the applicants’ writing style and compatibility.\"

On sp.com PumpkinsMediaMilitia just posted this, and I laughed my ass off!

\"An HR department? Are you kidding? This is a rock band, my friend.\"

I’ll try having this is as my signature from now on!

and i do like your new avatar arthur, what made you decide to change? i like the old one too.[/quote:1h2xqi81]
Just the normal desire to have a change every now and then. And this pic has a very funny story to it, besides me liking the complete piece of art (painting) it comes from.

A few days back I had a little arguement with someone on eBay. I won a cd for 0.99 US$ and I forgot to check to which countries shipment was done. Obviously it was US only, and the guy made a little fuzz about it, how inconvenient I was etc. I apologized a few times, and in the end he send it anyway. The funny thing was, on eBay I replied to an email address that he didn’t check much, and in direct replies I referenced to those emails, which he hadn’t read or couldn’t find. Misunderstandings all over, and he was getting very grumpy, while I have never been so friendly on eBay!

But after we were cool and peace again, the guy told me little story about being a homeless artist ("I know that you might laugh at me Arthur, after what we just went through") and he asked my advice about his art, if it would be something to sell on eBay. I checked the link he provided me, and this painting I kinda like. It’s a little part of a bigger piece. And it has a funny story connected to it too.
