Bands from New Zealand? That would be pretty awesome. :)[/quote:1zkatcvu]

They’re from the US, and quite new. Would be cool if they had a website set up to promote themselves more.

    The Devil

    So full of evil
    you could be the devil
    Once you were revered
    But now you create fear
    It’s not so diplomatic
    To be this dramatic
When will we see the end
You just make foes and fiends
    All you bring are threats
To bring justice to the deaths
But for many your plan is clear
and the message is just to scare
You try to strengthen your rule
But to us you look like a fool

In my local music shop (which is pretty good) they decided not to sell reissues, because they’re so expensive that they think no one would be interested (which is probably is).[/quote:2lpg7k19]

I think that’s what has happened here, and the few vinyls are just there for collectors.

wow, there’s some high pitched ‘laaa’s’ in there. Sounds like a classic!

This is brilliant, church acoustics are always good!

    The Lovers

    Meeting at the crossroads
    Deciding which path to take
    Cupid’s arrow aims true
Is it love or death from above?

    Leaving the past behind
    Looking to an uncertain future
    Knowing the flame can grow
Yet can also consume and destroy

No luck with this as the stores aren’t ordering ANY EU releases. And no point ordering one online either as there’d be no way of knowing which book it has…

The cheapest CD/DVD here is $163 – Eur 95 :? – via an online store – have not seen the CD/DVD in stores at all.

The LP I saw in store was a US release ($260) – I think we only had the EU release for the Gish, SD, PI remastered CDs.

Apparently it is too expensive to ship the EU releases of the LPs /CD-DVDs here, so the stores order them all from the US.

    wandering over the words
    the conspiracies unwind
    breaking free
from knots and twists that bind

    truth isn’t easily found
while heads are buried in the sand
    the seas just get higher
and the news is on demand

    the headlines made to shock
but they’ll sell you a distraction
    a way to escape
    and forget any reaction

However, I completely believe Corgan that he is, at least for the moment, completely fed up with touring oldschool style. And that he is looking for new concepts of ‘playing live for the fans’. Can’t blame him at all; he played numerous concerts for countless fans in his musical career. I had a good laugh when I read something like ‘I sold more records than all other bands on the whole festival together’. It’s true, he doesn’t have to prove anything anymore.

To cut a long story short: I’m super glad I saw Smashing Pumpkins live last weekend. I hope it will happen several times more. :)[/quote:3vmil50p]

He does seem tired/fed up with what must be a gruelling tour schedule, and he said perhaps 5 shows a year, it may mean only a few shows in Europe next time. Maybe none in Asia/Oceania! I think they need to completely take a break for a while and re-energize, before they do any more tours.

I’m not too fussed about when the next album is…we’ve got all the extra material in the reissues and a huge back catalog to listen to in the meantime!

@marigold: haha funny! Playing along with Billy’s jokes, aren’t you? :P[/quote:3t3ijsrp]

Not at all actually. If you haven’t noticed, Billy has been looking tired at the recent shows, doesn’t put as much energy into them (like milan says, the band looks bored), and was sick at one of the shows that was livestreaming! And now he says it will be the last time they play there?

Perhaps Billy should have whatever Mick Jagger is having? :P
