i was really looking forward to some sort of package that incorporated a teddy bear, or maybe a plush lighthouse that i could hold at night while i listened to my CD while wearing my oceania sneakers, BC boxers, and SP logo hoodie. i guess they don’t market to fans like me.

I’ve been looking for years and I was finally able to get a 666 shirt. This one looks brand new, but I am fairly certain these haven’t been manufactured in over 10 years. I plan to wear this to the next pumpkins show I attend
I collect those kinds of awards and have even made a few. The record in the display isn’t the actual record of the artist. You can buy a gold or platinum record that has been prepared for display purposes.
You are correct. The buyer said that he offered the seller a sum outside of ebay and it was accepted. Its very possible that this item was only up for a few hours.
Three times a week I sift through around 15 pages of ebay items with 200 items on each page that contain the key words \"Smashing Pumpkins\". I collect record awards… especially pumpkins ones. The fact that I did not see this and that it only went for $100 makes me feel physically sick. I would have paid 3X that… easy.
He’s been looking for that guitar for the better part of two decades. It is possible that it may turn up, but not likely. Though it would be awesome if it did.
I have kept my eyes open for a set list for quite a while and this past weekend I finally scored one. This particular one is from the Sydney Royal Agricultural Showgrounds Show in Sydney Australia on January 26, 1994.
I have only seen a handful of Pumpkins awards on ebay in the past 8 years or so… MCIS (probably 2-4 per year), TAFH (only saw this once), Siamese Dream (A simple square wood frame award where the 12 inch promotional flat is used… I saw this twice), Machina (I saw this only once within the past couple of years… I think it was around $700-800 or so.. no way for that price).
The ones I see in Kerry’s studio are plucked right from my dreams.
I have been collecting record awards for almost 10 years and I keep a perpetual eye on ebay for what’s available. Two MCIS awards have shown up nearly back to back. The auction that ended before mine went for about $25 cheaper . But yeah… $160 is $160, but it was too sweet to pass up. I’m still saving up my green for when the big garage sale happens on the official site. I can’t wait to see what kind of stuff they list.

$160.. not too bad of a deal. The first one I got back in 2002 I paid around $350. They used to go for a lot more.
If I were to choose one, I’d probably pick the Siamese Dream award. I collect record awards from my favorite bands and I have been watching the auctions for years… but I haven’t seen most of those awards on that wall. Those are very handsome.
