Hopefully the Machina version gets a decent make over on the next reissue. Until then, I’ll be listening to this one a lot!
Well… Billy hadn’t mentioned him (or Nicole) since recording the new albums – and they had unfollowed on twitter quite a while ago. Nicole is still using the SP name in promoting her band, so maybe will be touring bass player…? I wonder who will be touring drummer – I hope not Tommy Lee.

Also, I find it annoying that he’s writing numerous unreadable album updates, but keeps everybody in the dark about the things that really matter. It took me a while to get used to, but I really liked this incarnation!

I got the Oceania Live in NYC this Saturday, DVD+2CD version. The filming is pretty slow-paced, clearly made for 3D, but the show itself is really good. X.Y.U. is by far one of the coolest songs on there (goosebumps Arthur?

Is it good?[/quote:39j3r4c5]I like it. Although I was never really into the idea of them playing Oceania from start to finish, it must have been a special experience I regret I missed out on. Sound and image quality are excellent and the package is nice too (at least of the dvd+cd version, the rest I haven’t bought yet).

Bought the cd & vinyl version at Amazon.com, and even with import duties the total price was lower (almost 100 bucks) than in any Dutch store. Unfortunately though, the vinyl box was damaged during transport so I have to send it back
In my local music shop (which is pretty good) they decided not to sell the reissues, because they’re so expensive that they think no one would be interested (which is probably true).
