Thanks, I’m glad you used the BlueBullet forum for that sillyness, blueczarina.

i would probably die if i couldn’t be on here. it is true.

i will just not post as much and let czarina post a bunch, then she can more posts in.[/quote:2z59twk8]
Naah, just kidding bullet. It won’t take long before you pass my number, and then we have to start all over again. Keep posting as much as you like please. We all need a daily fix for something, yours is the SPfreaks posting fix. Big deal, nothing to be ashamed of.

(to be honest, the fact that manillascissor made that BlueBullet forum for you 2 still makes me laugh. What SP fans can say that a special forum was made for them? I’m very curious if you 2 can make that forum a success this year.)

sounds good, but i think we’d lose her. she might die. [/quote:37kjarjf]
Yeah, she definately might. We don’t want that ugly feeling chasing us the rest of our life, right? Then I’ll ask RedWolf to triple your number in the database. Easy fix. 8)

Hey bullet! So there you are! Nice post about these old pics. I too wonder if not all the old pics are already known. But I guess they want to surprise us with new material, maybe from the band’s personal collections and new material from the fans.

I’ll ask manillascissor to ban bullet for a few days from the forum. I’m sure you will catch up pretty fast.

Aaah! I think you have to find more clever ways of beating bullet her number of posts. Try 10 pages open?

well, maybe they want pics that haven’t been posted, but yeah, i think most of the pics are online.[/quote:33990xmt]

could be. but loads of pics have been posted, so they could get them with google or visiting the SP sites. and really most of the fans always post the pics they have anyway, so…

but who knows, maybe there is something new and neat [/quote:33990xmt]
Am I getting old, my glasses make me see double, or is blueczarina doin’ some good ol’ speedposting again?

Still having heavy flu, over a week now. Taking medicines, as doctor ordered. Repeatingly playing this cool track, to comfort myself. My girlfriend, who is in Malaysia for her last month, is phoning me every day to check how I am. I love her big times! :D

Yeah it’s been a while we used that feature, so the satellite is maybe a bit rusty. Oh, and it’s busy up there, so the signal is maybe getting lost between NASA and other satellites! But I’m sure Bram has his zapper on a proper freaky place.

Edit: just checked, batteries still working, blip blip.

That page was in our referrer history with a few hits, and I quickly browsed that page to see where SPfreaks was mentioned…

yay for the gish longbox! partay! 8) [/quote:ukicosnx]
Yeah, I was surprised too about this one. Obviously it was linked and referred quite a few times since it’s online, which is not that long. Partay! Another biertje, Cool As Ice Cream? 8)

Very cool. You should update this more often. I’m curious what people are looking at, and if/when/how it changes.[/quote:ukicosnx]
Agree, but go figure. I need to write SQL scripts like this to order that big mess of data. And I’m not that good in writing SQL scripts…

    USE spf_website
    SELECT SUBSTRING(href, CHARINDEX(‘?page=’, href), 255) AS VisitPage, COUNT_BIG (SUBSTRING(href, CHARINDEX(‘?page=’, href) + 6, 255)) AS [Count]
    FROM dbo.tblSiteTrack
    WHERE (CHARINDEX(‘?page=’, href) >= 0) AND requestTime>=’04/22/2007′ AND requestTime<’06/29/2008′
    GROUP BY SUBSTRING(href, CHARINDEX(‘?page=’, href), 255)
    ORDER BY COUNT_BIG (SUBSTRING(href, CHARINDEX(‘?page=’, href), 255)) DESC

Yeah looks genuine to me. However, the information on the auction is wrong, correct me if I’m wrong, you hardcore vinyl specialists!

\"SMASHING PUMPKINS Mellon Collie MINT 1.Pressing\" <= wrong title, it’s not the first pressing. Right?

\"this is the real deal: Cut in the UK at Townhouse from original masters using DMM technologie and pressed on heavyweight BLACK VINYL!

This comes from a friends archive where it sat on the shelve since 1996 when he got it from another friend working for the recordindustry. The amazing thing is: The white rectangle on the front cover’s lower right corner where the limited edition number should be is EMPTY! I inspected this closely and compared it to my numbered copy and the two of them are identical right down to the polylinered innersleeves, the stamped matrix numbers and the handsigned addition \"Townhouse DMM\". What do we learn from this? Seems that Hut produced a bit more than the official 20000 numbered copies and gave those unnumbered copies away for promotion. So here is your chance to win one of those! As I said: The only difference is the fact that there is NO individual number!\" <= I’m not so sure about this part also. Empty number box, so it’s a 1996 promo? We only know about the 1998 repress, which was unnumbered… And what is that Townhouse DMM thingy on both the numbered and unnumbered copy? Can our SPfreaks Vinyl Dept. come into action, and update us about this?

yeah, i love both, but here we can run our own sorts of converstions all we want.

plus, i kind of like the smallness of it- i think its more friendly that way- it doesn’t feel like a bunch of strangers so much, although thepumpkins.net is good too.[/quote:1g4nxfzz]
Thanks. Just curious, how is ThePumpkins.net being moderated? Do you notice anything about that? To be honest, I never go there anymore lately, so I wouldn’t know. The site loads too slow for me, and I rather spend my scarce time here. But still I’m curious how other websites deal with member moderation issues.

Cannot choose between indoor & outdoor, both are ok to me. Travelling, weather, restaurant, erotic adventures, culture, people: outdoor. Cocooning, tv, pc, sleeping, eating: indoor. Both ok.

Anyway, I felt I should say something about the Billy Corgan rumour thing (I think the thread was called "We need to stage an intervention"), anyway, I had been thinking of talking about motivations & thoughts behind it, but I realise none of that matters, its actions not words that count, and my actions brought it here, which I regret and apologise for.
I would like to be clear on one thing though, it was never, in my part, viewed as anything malicious, but rather as a bit of a stupid joke.[/quote:1janqvro]

    Cool bullet!

I found out a few other funny things, while researching the behaviour of our 25,000+ visitors since April 22, 2007. In the past year and 2 months, the most wanted page was the homepage, well that’s not a surprise I guess. But read on.

Most popular categories with 1,000 or more hits:

    1. CD (Official): 14,454
    2. Vinyl (Official): 3,860
    3. CD (Non-Official): 2,413
    4. Cassettes: 1,602
    5. Clothing (Official): 1,574
    6. Posters (Concert): 1,315
    7. Misc.: 1,069

But then, our 5 most popular items:

    1. http://www.spfreaks.com/?page=COLLDETAILS&item=1620 (Zeitgeist promo, VERY closely followed by:)
    2. http://www.spfreaks.com/?page=COLLDETAILS&item=1100 (MCIS genuine vinyl)
    3. http://www.spfreaks.com/?page=COLLDETAILS&item=282 (Mashed Potatoes)
    4. http://www.spfreaks.com/?page=COLLDETAILS&item=1628 (Gish long box)
    5. http://www.spfreaks.com/?page=COLLDETAILS&item=2117 (MCIS fake vinyl)

What we see here is that our discussions & homepage article about the Mellon Collie vinyl attracted quite some visitors! Is this cool or is this cool! I think it is very cool indeed!
