Yeah, I guess I’d like to say that I was part of this tour, but, I have a lot of work going on through the rest of the year that has me working 6 days on, 1 day off, for 6 weeks straight, so I knew going to one of these was pretty much impossible. Win some, lose some.

Okay, Arthur’s post above is pretty accurate. I had compiled a tiny little collection over the years and wanted to post it online because this site (http://www.geocities.com/collectspumpkins/index.htm) didn’t have redundant foreign releases. I modeled it after the Steve Hemming? website of ’95ish.
So I had most of my collection up there, and was using some crappy webware to build it. Had to pay for the domain name, the webware, and whoever else was hosting it. It just crept up, in December I might add, and I had no money and was sick of paying for such a crappy site.
I even talked a computer programmer at work into building a better site for me, and he would NEVER be around to do it. Always busy.
Then came an email from one of Arthur’s cohorts, asking me for better scans of some of my items. Which I provided and never heard back about.
But THEEEEEN, Arthur dug up my email after my site crashed and we exchanged pics and stories and we’ve been in love ever since.

Yeah, man.
It’s about getting together with the inlaws and outlaws, and arguing over stupid shit. Spending ridiculous amounts of money on stupid toys for your children (to be broken or ignored in 1-2 months), driving on icy roads in the dark, stringing lights up on precariously placed ladders in 30 degree weather, while footing the increase in your energy bill. Going into more debt, so your children smile just a little bit more, crying at New Years when you realize how old you are, and then going back to work! It’s awesome! Get in the spirit!!!!
All jokes aside, imagine the snow falling on some pine trees decorated with pretty white lights, holding your two year old daughters hand. You look down as the snow falls around her angelic face, full of wonderment. And all the above seems like a fleeting memory.
Yeah, for me, it’s just EXTREMELY helpful to keep track of which CDs I own.
What’s really funny though, is that I would be tracking some CDs that I own (nothing too valuable) and open the jewel case, and there would be no CD! I took it out to listen and it’s gone now. So I own the jewel case, but not the CD. I had to go back and delete some entries.
ARGH!
