So far i’ve been fairly lucky, especially since probably the worst incident i’ve encountered myself, my own stupidity really. I bought a couple of items of on ebay user. He emailed me after the bid saying he had rare items he wanted to sell. So i asked him what and he replied with such items such as the first metro cd from the last metro and some other highly sort after and rare items. So i sent him $200 in the post, excited about getting ahold of some really rare items all at once. The origina items i bought on ebay arrived fine. The ones he emailed me about didn’t, i never heard from him again and he dissapeared off of ebay shortly afterwards.

What an asshole!!!! I had a guy offer me the BR Siamese Dream 12", after I bought a BR CD from him and it actually worked out. But I rarely do that.
Recently, I bid on the MCIS dawn to dusk US acetate CD. EXTREMELY RARE. Well, I got outbid. So the seller emailed me a few days later saying the other guy didn’t want it. Asked me if I’d honor my bid, I came down like $50 and asked him to list the item under a code we both came up with for BuyItNow. So both parties were covered. Just a suggestion if you ever run into similar situation again. If they won’t do that, then it’s not worth the risk!

pre-orders aren’t "confirmed" releases, in my opinion. remember the zeitgeist pre-orders? things turned out different too. the best example is the vinyl, of course, but i remember a german red zeitgeist was also "confirmed" at that time.

Oh, hell no. LOL. It was on eBay. Looks like a CD-R. Not even sure if it comes in a jewel-case or not. The UK version I have not actually seen for sale, other than preorders. The promo however, is on it’s way as we speak.

My latest find is this funny 4CD promo box set from France called "Virgin Delights" released in 2001. It contains the track Untitled and the full artwork of this beautiful promo box with 4 CDs individually packed in cardsleeves can be admired on SPfreaks.com since a few minutes.

I’m also tempted to try and order TAFH… there’s a good condition used one on Amazon.co.uk at the moment for under £40. I can afford it… but there are also a bunch of playstation 3 games coming out… and they are really useful for when i have free time…

Actually, I’ve been having trouble recently even being able to access the site. It just won’t load. And when I try from work, we have a T1 connection, so I know it’s not that. Anyone else had these problems?

The ep is good, not my favourite thing they’ve done but still enjoyable. The lyrics are a bit confusing at times to me. Does anyone know what sunkissed is about? I’m guessing it has to do with a relationship and putting aside fears, going with flow, etc? Some of the lines don’t make much sense at all to me. Anyways, I’m glad they are releasing material inbetween.

Some woman in Japan covered Today as well for a Final Fantasy game (12?) Anyway, half is English half is Japanese. I was bummed when I got it, as I just thought it was Today on the game, but it’s not too bad. Definitely has a different mood to it.
There’s also that MySpace Tribute CD.
and Act IV? Bram may know more about this. Fan created I think.
Last weekend I uploaded some 2007 US tour posters, and I have to say… I like the diversity!
What do you think? I’m not a collector of posters really, but I can imagine people are…

Yeah, I’ve collected posters for awhile (see Goodies thread
)but I must say that 2007 has had some of the cooler posters IMO. MANY of the previous tours had some really shitty posters.I’ve always loved Pearl Jam tour posters. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one I didn’t like.
uhm im not sure if i should tell this. well lets go anyway bacause it has nothing to do with pumpkins anyway. once in amsterdam i wanted to buy mobile phone and some negroes on the street sold me one for 75 gulden thats like 35 euro i guess. they gave me a bag with something heavy inside and then the police came they shout and ran away and inside the bag was just a brick of stone
