This is sooooo (tribute to) Queen!

And I checked their latest news about the new single Madness, but we still have to wait till August, 20.

On a sidenote, if I were a vinyl lover, I would be VERY tempted by this offer.

http://muse.mu/store/product,5-album-bu … yl_251.htm

3 double albums + 2 standard albums for a total of 20 pounds!

(Don’t be surprised to get this message though: "We couldn’t add your product at this time, any remaining stock may be reserved in active baskets")[/quote:1rph9lns]

Price changed – £60.00 – 12" Album Bundle :?

and yeah putting them on before Queen, now even more people will compare them! Even though I like a lot of their songs, hopefully it’s just that one song on the album that sounds similar to Queen.

it doesn’t look too cold in that pic[/quote:1i05j9ds]

It was a bit mild in Auckland (about 14 C), so yeah not freezing – but I did have a long-sleeved t-shirt under that (you can just see it – stripey). I’m sure you have mild days of winter where you are!

I like it – it’s different – they’ve brought their ‘musestep’ in and mixed it with their old classical style they’ve used before. It feels like an interlude type song though, no vocals – aside from some voice over message and some wailing from Matt :) and the ‘un-sus-tain-a-ble’ robot.

you should be able to buy twice[/quote:7t8nophr]

What do you mean by buy twice? You mean buy the album of your choice of tracks, and then later when there’s the option to, buy the rest of the tracks? I’d rather just buy all the tracks I wanted, maybe they’ll have that option.

yeah I saw that, but I am assuming there must be something wrong, so there is the ‘we couldn’t add your product’ message while they sort it out.

I always thought of evolution as applying to a long process, eg. the human race evolving from cave men to intelligence (except for some people), or a plant evolving as it adapts to climate, habitat etc.
And isn’t entropy something that happens more locally, to one system or process over a short time?

That sounds pretty simplified but I didn’t want to go anywhere near this sort of thing:

Absolutely funny to read this topic again…! Times flies!

So it makes sense that the suppression of UFO information would go hand in hand with the suppression of this free energy technology, if they don’t want to go out of business.[/quote:15omgdik]
I don’t know… You think there is this kind of conspiracy going on?

We all have access to this channel, you know… Although they do their best to be not taken seriously, listen to the tune!

[/quote:15omgdik]

 some interesting ones there, also I think one was a frisbee!

Some kind of conspiracy yes, but whether it’s alien technology or just some government agency/military testing out the technology I don’t know. Some of the people who have been working on this free energy technology have had their labs burnt down (Tesla) and a few have been killed.

I’m pretty open minded about this, but I’d like to see this documentary when it happens. I watched another documentary which explains how the ‘alien’ technology – which uses energy that is abundant and free to harness (kind of like solar/wind etc), would put all the big energy industries (coal, oil) out of business immediately. So it makes sense that the suppression of UFO information would go hand in hand with the suppression of this free energy technology, if they don’t want to go out of business.

I think if the aliens WERE out there they would have made themselves known already, but then again considering the amount of scary alien movies around, they may not want to scare us, or rather those who couldn’t handle the shock of being in the presence of scary aliens.

but we should know how to deal with aliens :)

Cool that Canada fans will get to see them again.

I have a feeling they won’t be coming back to NZ again. Well, Billy might return with a solo or other project but not with SP. The lack of promotion meant there weren’t that many people attending, and they probably made a loss getting themselves and the giant orb over to NZ.

That could apply to some other places too – so if they play anywhere near you – go see them while you can!

yeah, punters = fans who buy the album.

It would be cool if they allow people to choose the artwork from a selection too.

Punters are the fans!

I asked the guy who wrote the article for more info, these are his replies:

\"he said he was confirming Mellon Collie details right after our interview, and hinted at a new double LP\"

\"he said he was planning a double album and fans could choose their own tracklisting. But it sounded like early days\"

I expect the MCIS reissue details will be announced soon.

Pretty much what I thought!

and then there’s this double album – which will need another thread – but what I don’t understand is why this info isn’t in the interview itself, but just mentioned as being discussed….hmmmm we shall see!

He also told me details about the band’s Mellon Collie reissue, which will come with 70 – yes, 70 – extra tracks spread over five discs, and juicy details about the Pumpkins’ next record, a planned double album for which he’ll let punters decide the tracklisting.[/quote:ne8u6hic]
