AnonymousSpectatorDistractions
preying on innocence
subliminal illusion
easily swayed
mind Controlled, cells siphoned
Feeling of emptiness
loneliness, bittersweet
becoming fear
dark and empty
bottomless pit
stay here
as long as you like
there’s always morethis way, points the sign
turn right
come along
close your eyes
breathe deep within
it won’t take long
a glimmer of light
leave the illusion behind
tranquil life
away from it all

AnonymousSpectatorI’m always burning SP mixes for people. They’ll say, "I only know a couple songs" or "yeah, 1979 is good, but that’s all I know"
I don’t mind sharing. And I don’t mind if they don’t like it. My friends just know I have different musical tastes than them, and they appreciate me for it. I don’t care if they don’t get it or don’t like it, or make fun of it. It doesn’t change my love or opinion and it never will.
My favorite person to share it with is my husband. I love going for a car ride, and listening to the pumpkins. He’ll talk me through lyrics that I can’t make out. He knows guitar, so he’ll tell me all sorts of facts about how the song is played.
Seriously, sharing the SP with him brings us so close together. The night we went to the concert has been the happiest that we’ve been together in a long time. It was definitely the best day of my life after my wedding. Not just because I was in the front seeing Billy up close and personal. Not just because I had their music coursing through my veins live. But because I was sharing that experience with the one person in the world I truly love, and he was sharing it with me.[/quote:3m6d1zi6]
I was sitting by myself at the show…My hubby and my brother were sitting together. It was better that way..LOL..I was dancing around like crazy at the show-like them disco dancers on the scream awards
almost. I would smacked him in the face from my movements
I had a better seat and sat next to some woman from France who spoke fluent French, was kinda neat to be by someone who was from another country!!! well there was a seat in between us, but it was still cool! And she was beautiful and was smiling proud the whole night!
AnonymousSpectatorLike this, but white, right?
[/quote:1j5xokoz]
No, not at all. It’s just green lettering that says "spaceboy". Has the green heart logo on the sleeve[/quote:1j5xokoz]

AnonymousSpectatorSuperlord…..
you seem to know a lot about different religions. I just think organized religion is not necessary. God is wherever you want him to be in your daily life. There really is no need to attend an actual church unless it’s social and even that can be full of lies and deceit. I’m not saying all people who go to church are bad, but there are the people who go to church who sin the most and need to ask for forgiveness the most. Going to church sure ain’t going to get you to heaven any differently then someone who doesn’t go and believes in God. We all know right from wrong. Some of those preachers on Sunday live a different life m-f it is ridiculous and then they want our money to keep the house of God or whatever they call it functioning. I’ll keep my money to pay my bills to survive and have my own relationship with God without the cost of saying hey honey I’m broke I gave it to the church. I’d rather give it to my children so they can eat. Church is big business that I want no part of. I don’t believe in their ulterior methods, motives, whatever. I can believe in God because he hasn’t asked me for anything that is going to hurt me, only empower me with love to be who I am and move forward to self enlightenment.
AnonymousSpectatorok weird story…back when I signed up for SP.com and was searching for anything pumpkin related to read online I stumbled upon this site. When I clicked the link my heart skipped a beat, dropped to my stomach, whatever you want to call it. It was like a vampire done sucked me in, but thought I can’t get on this site. Then when the writing job came out and I remember Arthur posting his and I posted mine and in a thread was a link to this site so I came back…and eventually made a name that I didn’t like and then ended up using my current user name because people were telling me how great this site was. So I figured I didn’t want too much name confusion from SP.com and here so I use the same name. I knew from the day I stumbled upon this site that it was special by the feeling i felt listed above
What can I say…I’m a proud SPfreak
AnonymousSpectatorhe’s back!!
AnonymousSpectatorand that is why we are here cuz we are the SPfreaks
AnonymousSpectatorI like that shirt….
AnonymousSpectatorI must say..I don’t believe in any one particular religion. I just listen to what I feel is right for me. I am sure there is a higher power out there unknown, but it’s there.
AnonymousSpectatorspicy shrimp pasta YUM! and your cake sounds pretty slammin!! Tropical experience in the mouth!
AnonymousSpectatorI know Manilla doesn’t seem typical…or maybe that’s just it my hubby isn’t typical either..lol
I don’t know I have heard that statement by a few guys..lol
It’s a funny statement though when applied right, like Manilla did
AnonymousSpectatorthe unknown is the unknown for a reason. IMO i just feel like the universe plays a roll in our daily lives. We just aren’t fully aware of what the unknown is and therefore we create our own idea of what it could be. Or some believe what they are told about it. It’s mainly what hit’s ‘home’ for you as a feeling of what is right and what is wrong with not knowing the whole piece, but having experiences. It’s not suppose to be scary, it’s to be peaceful/enlightening. Intuition!!
AnonymousSpectatorthat’s what she said.[/quote:2xpima34]
oh no…that sounds familiar
typical man statement, except you don’t seem like a typical guy…I’m so confused
AnonymousSpectatorRTC…whatever that shrimp is sounds good..it’s shrimp!!
coconut cake hmmm…never had it beforegood to see you back on the board too
AnonymousSpectatorNo Manilla it’s not weird. I feel like not sharing them sometimes too. And they are very personal to me as well. Some people know I am a SP freak and some don’t. Listening to them gives me a comfort of ‘home’ feeling. They inspire me, they make me happier, they fulfill my body with a feeling I just can not explain! i won’t stop myself speaking about the band, but when I want to listen I really don’t want to share that experience to much outside of my box per say. I need it for my consumption at the time for whatever it is I need from the music with no interruptions..Like now..it for my pleasure only and no one can hear it but me. Of course everyone knows what’s on my ipod
what can I say but, Thank God for this band, I love em so

AnonymousSpectatorsuch a bizarre number to use 440…how did that number come about? 60 shy of 500-strange, but I like strange
AnonymousSpectatorI sent in email to my radio station 93xrocks about the showing of If All Goes Wrong since it is playing in my state. Hopefully they will post it up on their site and shout it out on their station! Also directed them to the website for it.
2008.10.23 at 10:15 pm in reply to: What really happened between the pumpkins in their break up? #26079
AnonymousSpectatorI agree Reggae. I feel the same way about my own job. A lot of the times, when the pressure of having to do it vs. wanting to do it is alleviated, I actually enjoy it, like, 10-fold more.[/quote:172a5l85]
and that is how everyone should feel, but it doesn’t happen to everyone like that because people short themselves on their ability to be truly happy. Some not even knowing their is something better… -
