The worlds’ legends speak of eagles, sorry.

    The Eagle Has Landed

On July 16, 1969, three men and a support staff of thousands begin the world’s greatest adventure: an attempt to successfully land a man on the moon and return him safely again to earth. It was the fulfillment of President John F. Kennedy’s ambitious decade-long goal for a nation struggling to keep ahead in the space race against the Russians. The mission was Apollo 11.

On July 20, while Michael Collins lingered aboard the Columbia command module in lunar orbit, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin headed for the surface in the lunar lander, known as Eagle. With the fuel supply dwindling, Eagle pilot Neil Armstrong realized that the computerized trajectory was sending them toward a field of boulders. He overrode the computer controls, setting the lander down on the lunar shore with 15 seconds’ worth of fuel to spare. The Eagle had landed.

    Thanks guys. :)

RedWolf and me just sold the concept of this website for a 7 figured number of dollars to the management of http://www.rollingstone.com , so we only did it for the money… and it worked pretty well.

    Kidding! :P

I called it Zeitgeist anyway: it is a 1 track album promo, not a single promo. Zeitgeist is also written very boldly.

Sorry for the shit-ass CD scan, I’ll turn it sideways and do it again soon. Probably not today though. But the front looks like the purple Zeitgeist (Target Edition), and here’s the back and the CD itself.[/quote:3a5xpmva]
How should we call this release? Zeitgeist? Zeitgeist I guess.

Lift off for today is confirmed, now definitive. The quest of the eagle has begun.

Let’s wish him a safe and pleasant flight. 8)

And because the cd has been tagged with the receivers’ name, nobody dares to sell it, or thinks it’s just to cool to keep.

Talking about comics, this would be my style of humour. Not sure what you think of it, Della.

    [/quote:27hdtgx8]

I could also give lines like

"Billy Corgan obviously didn’t want to play 1979 anymore"

    [/quote:27hdtgx8]
"I am one as you are three"

Anyway… what mood inspires you Della, for creating this type of art?

    Translations of the Carmina Burana.

Firstly, the first one was a little creative redo of some texts I like from the Carmina Burana. The second one is a full original text. This is so… Arthur. 8)

    sweetheart, be mine

    o beautiful girl
in my times and in my song
I carry you on my hands
and my heart will not leave you
    where-ever I may roam

you got the most beautiful face
    your eyes full of light
    hair like no-one has
and a body where everything sparkles from life!

every rose shrinks in your presence
    every lily turns grey
    you most beautiful of all
in the inside of my thighs
    a fire starts to burn

I will do everything what love commands
to you I belong, to you alone!

And the second poet goes like this:

    burning inside
    with violent anger
    bitterly
    I speak to my heart
    created from matter
of the ashes of the elements
    I am like a leaf
    played with by the winds

    if it is the way
    of the wise man
    to build
    foundations on stone
then I am a fool like
    a flowing stream
    which in its course
    never changes

    I am carried along
like a ship without a steersman
and in the paths of the air
    like a light hovering bird
    chains cannot hold me
    keys cannot imprison me
I look for people like me
    and join the wretches

    the heaviness of my heart
seems like a burden to me
    it is pleasant to joke
    and sweeter than honeycomb
    whatever Venus commands
    is a sweet duty
    she never dwells
    in a lazy heart

    I travel the broad path
as is the way of youth
    I give myself to vice
    unmindful of virtue
I am eager for the pleasures of the flesh
    more than for salvation
    my soul is dead
so I shall look after the flesh

    From the Carmina Burana

    veni, domicella

    o virgines
    de corde totaliter
    et ex mente tota
    sum presentialiter
    absens in remota

    pulchra tibi facies
    oculurum acies
    capillorum series
    o quam clara species!

    rosa rubicundior
    lilio candidior
    omnibus formosior
    iam amore virginali
    totus ardeo

    ad iugum tamen suave transeo
    semper in te glorior!

    and wow, this one…

    estuans interius
    ira vehementi
    in amaritudine
    loquor mee menti:
    factus de materia,
    cinis elementi
    similis sum folio,
    de quo ludunt venti

    cum sit enim proprium
    viro sapienti
    supra petram ponere
    sedem fundamenti,
    stultus ego comparor
    fluvio labenti,
    sub eodem tramite
    nunquam permanenti.

    feror ego veluti
    sine nauta navis,
    ut per vias aeris
    vaga fertur avis;
    non me tenent vincula,
    non me tenet clavis,
    quero mihi similes
    et adiungor pravis.

    mihi cordis gravitas
    res videtur gravis;
    iocis est amabilis
    dulciorque favis;
    quicquid Venus imperat,
    labor est suavis,
    que nunquam in cordibus
    habitat ignavis.

    via lata gradior
    more iuventutis
    inplicor et vitiis
    immemor virtutis,
    voluptatis avidus
    magis quam salutis,
    mortuus in anima
    curam gero cutis.

    OK, translations to follow…
