    Bien sur. Mais naturellement!

But there’s 1 creature that doesn’t agree though.

    Have I missed anything exciting?[/quote:3cz0k3md]
No, we planned the exciting things for today (Monday), because we knew you were not there this weekend…

Hope you got some nice stories to share, niteshyft, but I’m not worried about that.

Funny how some of these oldies can be good after more than 20 years. MJ made me puke back then, now I have to say I kinda like it, seeing that clip above. Same sort of feeling I have for this Dutch band called Doe Maar. When I was 15 years old, I disgusted this band because ALL the girls of my age would faint for the lead singer & bass player called Hennie. Urgh!

But now, songs of this band can make me cry or at least give me the shivers.

Shivers: Is dit alles (Is this all)

Because I got cool friends like you mayo, otherwise I might have missed it. It was 6 EURO only, by the way, as nobody bid.
    Lucky me! 8)

Thanks manillascissor. Were you after this one also? I never heard of it, to be honest.

    in the past 30 days, i’ve purchased…
    disarm purple 7”
    zwan- honestly 7”
i am one 12” my 2nd copy. it went for cheap.
    1979/bwbw 7” jukebox
    i am one 12” wlp
tristessa pink 7” my 2nd copy. it went for cheap too.

i bought the red 7” today, but it never showed up. 205 records is lame. i’ve learned now to always check the feedback, even if they have a high score.

and the i am one 7”, like an hour ago. finally! its been a good month.[/quote:3hbe8rdo]
You can say that again! Awesome set of vinyl just in 1 month! 8)

GATMOG = Glass And The Machines Of God, an obscure project of Smashing Pumpkins / Billy Corgan that was never finished. I don’t know much about it to be honest. A little more info on our website here:

I’m with Reggaeluv2000. Also I would like to remind everybody that Smashing Pumpkins has released many songs since the early days, that were not available for everybody. Or only available on an obscure import compilation. Some were even promo CD only! I have always considered it a fun part of being a fan of getting these songs like Glynis (old!) and Superchrist (new!) anyway…

That it might be a download only, that’s my worry however, as a CD collector… :?

I’m disappointed too. However, it’s us guys that has to deal with it, and not the Pumpkins. At some point the 78 rpm vinyl disappeared from the market, later on the cassette wasn’t the platform of choice anymore either… Times are changing! Wake up!

And blaming them for trying to make a few bucks, or a bit more on another platform is… a very cheap type of criticism, if you ask me. I couldn’t care less in what way and how many bucks the artist is making, I judge the music by the music alone. And actually I’m hoping the artist is making a few bucks with it anyway, so he sticks around a bit longer to create even more good music…

In-Game Model of Vocalist and Lead Guitarist, Billy Corgan, and ‘Today’ from Four Times-Platinum Album Siamese Dream To Rock On-Disc at Launch

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Sept 02, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ — The Smashing Pumpkins, one of rock’s defining and most acclaimed bands who’ve sold over 30 million albums, is coming to Activision Publishing, Inc.’s (Nasdaq: ATVI) Guitar Hero(R) World Tour in a ground-breaking way as the band will debut their new single \"G.L.O.W.\" exclusively in the game. This marks the first time a band has recorded a new song exclusively for the franchise which will be released afterwards, giving Guitar Hero(R) fans exclusive access to Smashing Pumpkins music before anyone else. The new track, bundled with two other rocking Smashing Pumpkins hits, \"1979\" and \"The Everlasting Gaze,\" will be available post-launch of the game as a three-song downloaded content pack.

Additionally, on-disc with the release of Guitar Hero World Tour this fall, The Smashing Pumpkins’ singer, songwriter and lead guitarist Billy Corgan will appear as an in-game character and will bring with him \"Today,\" the band’s smash hit from their pivotal and four-times platinum 1993 album Siamese Dream. \"Today\" is one of the band’s many hits that have defined the alternative music era and continue to resonate on modern rock radio, influencing a whole new generation. Players will be able to experience the unique alternative rocker’s likeness in-game as he sings and shreds on guitar, or play as the revered rock star throughout their vocal and axe careers.

The Fall Of The Roman Empire, yes. For some reason, that board reminds me of that. Silly me.

i’m not sure it could be like this there. it will be too big with too many people and too many opportunities for major conflict. plus, big boards are more impersonal usually.

i think what makes this such a nice, welcoming, comfortable place is the fact that we are a really small bunch who mostly get along and have kind of got to know eachother during our time here. and i think the fact that we know a lot about eachother and spend so much time going back a forth and being chatty maybe makes it so we avoid being asses to eachother because its not totally like your talking to a stranger- just some username and a pic- but rather a real person. you can have some of that on a bigger board- thepumpkins.net for example- but it really isn’t quite the same as it is here because we are so small.[/quote:qvodjrpt]
Small or big, when someone is a real ass to other members or has nothing else but "fuck you!" or the likes to contribute, he or she should be banned. Moderation is key I guess. I think all active forums manage to do that in some way, except for one: "The Roman Empire".

Well I’m new here and I must say this forum is bad for my wallet, as now it has me searching eBay much more frequently than I normally do!

Anyhow, my current Holy Grail is an uncut VHS tape of VH-1’s Storytellers. This is a video of the entire 2-3 hour recording session. My 2 close runner-ups would be the Storytellers setlist autographed by Jimmy or my setlist from a small chartered yacht concert in NYC that I got to go to. Details of that concert are here: http://www.spfc.org/tours/date.html?tour_id=765[/quote:3087sv2o]
Hey, welcome indeed, MacStainless and his poor wallet!

If you ever feel like it, scan that stuffs for us! At least the setlists are not in the Collection yet I guess!

Very much agree. I have no stories about suicidal tendencies to share, nor have I ever taken medicines, also never went to a psycho for myself… So I couldn’t really feel what you guys are feeling. Still, please know, I’m with you. It’s absolutely a great privilege for me to know all of you on this silly website, and that you feel @ home enough here to share these personal things from almost all over the world. You are wonderful persons, and a joy to be with. Love you guys! Be good & stay healthy! 8)
