Island of Terschelling, last weekend. My dad took most pics on his camera, but they are still there on holiday, so I will get them later, probably next weekend. They return home on Friday.

Yeah I did! Went to Terschelling for the weekend, that’s an island in the north of Holland. Good weather, awesome food too! My parents took me out to a restaurant. Will post a pic or 2 in a few minutes. After I downloaded them from the camera that is, and the batteries are empty… Hmmm… Few more minutes that will be!

Don’t worry, I’m back. Have been on a small holiday with my father and stepmother during the weekend, & a little business trip elsewhere in Holland afterwards. The hotel I stayed wanted to be paid large amounts for a few minutes of internet access. No way.I did not, I repeat, I DID NOT have contact with anyone called Veronica.

Something not-that-funny happened the day before yesterday, but it got compensated yesterday.
Thursday night: got stuck in traffic jam for 3.5 hours. Went to bed early.
Friday morning: woke up with a terrible headache. Urgh!But Friday afternoon: all personel got a gothic metal 2CD + 1DVD Special Edition boxed set called 01011001 from a Dutch band (creative concept is a better word I guess) called Ayreon from my boss! We were like \"huh?\"
What happened… Our boss had this new video ad being made for the software we are building and selling, and he picked some music from Ayreon to go with the ad. He wrote to the creative brain behind Ayreon, a guy called Arjen Lucassen. After all our boss didn’t have to pay anything for the copyright, but he promised to Mr. Lucassen that he would give the whole personel the latest release of Ayreon! Even in a Special Edition!

I understood we will get a digital tv recording. Jeroen doesn’t have digital tv himself he emailed me, but after a few phonecalls he found someone that has it, and will record it. I have just send him an email if he can confirm the tv broadcast turned out a good recording. Hopefully that will be known before he goes on holiday…Cool collection. Why do people strive to get the lowest number in a pressing run? I never have given much shit either way, if my number is low or high, I still have the only XXX out of XXX. It’s just as unique. Probably some law of nature. High ego, low number. Low ego, high number.Actually I couldn’t see it… It didn’t work on my pc nor on my laptop…
But it was recorded by 1 of our members and he will spread it in a few weeks he promised. I wonder if I will be visible in the audience with my girlfriend, as we were rather close to the stage!

I certainly recommend it. And when going to an Indonesian restaurant I recommend the Goat Sateh. OMG!
Peking Duck you definately should try, at a Chinese restaurant. I recommend Japanese and Thai food also.
