Yeah I did, I wish I had the time to check every interesting place out there on a regular basis.

The other pic and the info about Olinsky is worthwhile adding to this upload, so thanks Cool As Ice Cream! Whenever you see such interesting things around, please send them pics in if you think it’s worthwhile putting them on SPfreaks.com!

By the way, I was wrong about that eBay auction date also I think, it was around July 5, 2004 most likely. At least that is the date of the pics I kept, and normally they have the date I downloaded them…

So about that whole "get SP to play at Arthur’s house and round up everyone here to go there" plan.

I think i’ve got a good idea which date we should do it on :P[/quote:3bc2zypo]
That certain date is set Superlordspamulon. The Pumpkins had ABSOLUTELY no other date available also, for some reason. But they read the forum here I heard, before coming to that decision.

I feel sorry for some members that obviously have more important things to do. Lucky them (not).

I remember seeing this on ebay a couple of years ago. It was a pretty penny….I think arounf $500. I believe the person selling it said that Billy left it behind after a concert and one of the clean up crew people picked it up.[/quote:3n6egcux]
Yeah that’s correct EAZYE121, it was auctioned on eBay in August 2005, if I’m right, and I recall such price also. Funny story! (I don’t remember the auction description to be honest  )

The pics are from this eBay auction also, I just found them back this weekend on the FTP webserver after running a SQL database script for blind links to uploaded pics. Anyway, tech stuffs, don’t be bothered too much. I’m glad I found them back anyway, it’s pretty hard to maintain a collection of almost 6,500 pics on SPfreaks.com manually…

I think the only Pumpkin cover I’ve heard and liked was Amy Lee of Evanescence covering Zero. Its a bit different, but its pretty good.[/quote:xjm6ok95]
Is that on a release, so we should put it on SPfreaks? If so, can you provide scans or so?

You’re right, I just did. I also put 2 extra scans to it, with the tracklisting inside the cardsleeve.

Yeah indeed, another person with quite a bunch of rarities! mr. benway, you: 8)

& bullet: yes it is somehow, a rather rare promo cd dated back to 2001. Check info:

All known tribute and karaoke cds with Pumpkins songs on it are uploaded. I used pics from eBay, Amazon, SPFC and of course the stuff you guys brought in lately. Nice work! Check all 17 (so far) of them out here:

    http://www.spfreaks.com/Default.aspx?pa … DEX&cat=37

For some reason 2 of them tribute albums intrigue me. SPFC states they are released on exactly the same date (?) and there is not much info found online, I’m afraid. If any of you can tell us more, or even provide better pics/scans, would be highly appreciated! I mean these 2:

(\"Shot Full Of Diamonds\" on the Blood Loss Alliance label)

    And

(\"The Killer In You\" on the Law Of Inertia label)

No problem Sickboy! If you are both into SP and torrents, I advice you to stick around on that website. They recently uploaded Mashed Potatoes for example in lossless (SHN) quality on there.

And many thanks for that translation also Sickboy, now it makes even more sense what Uli said. Those 2 great artists obviously respect each other, though they are both a world apart. Billy in a constant inner struggle, and Uli almost zen-calm inside (see dinner conversation).

    Here’s the torrent: http://zombtracker.the-zomb.com/details.php?id=23613

And that sentence is from 3:22 to 3:24 on my dvd, I’m not sure if it’s the same on YouTube.

Directly after this sentence Uli says \"Es war mir total fremd\" (when he tells about listening to Zeitgeist).

Yeah please! Thanks Sickboy! This part (probably badly written) I didn’t understand:

"richtig ein tuler gelegt und das hat mir schon beanrufent" (somewhere in the 3rd minute)

Cool bullet, let us know. I listened to it once also today, but I couldn’t figure it out properly also.

OK, I understand, but not fully agree (yet). Playing the devil’s advocate now. There’s quite a bit more relevance then only the sticker with the name Smashing Pumpkins on it. It was a promo gift at the QOTSA/SP gigs in April 1999, handed out to ALL the attendees.

For example, there is a Rolling Stones shirt in the clothing section with the Smashing Pumpkins name on it, being the opening act of those classic rockers. All attendees could buy it as official merchandise. Not relevant also?

Really hot day today. Quiet on the forum also, so I could finally do some uploads (cassette, some cds, a dvd) and created a new avatar. On MSN it looks cool, on the forum: no. Ah well, I still like that old one.

Yeah I did, funny also huh. Bullet, what is the date of this In Conversation 1 interview? You said it’s just before they started Siamese Dream, right? Early 1993, or late 1992 it should be then?

With just 1 look at the pic you must be able to judge that bullet, we published tons of guidelines already about that. :P

The summary is still in the News section on the homepage of http://www.spfreaks.com

And I second Cool As Ice Cream’s comment on the supposed TAFH bootleg boxset. Prove it.

I liked the part where Billy told us that the producer of Gish asked Billy to play all the parts of D’Arcy and James again…

And their cats names are Mr. Tom and Lionheart. Funny also.

Oh well, a very common silverish grey. And it’s stickered all over with our company’s name.

That black on your car is way more cooler, I love black for cars and motorbikes. The spoiler on the back is a bit 1980’s though.
