ArthurSpectatorPretty nice! At 1:22 around you missed a note, and you don’t beat the original yet, but who cares… I thought already it was cool practice material for your voice getting some more energy, and it was, do you agree? Again, pretty nice! Keep it up!

I’ll wait and see what "deal" comes out between you and Cool As Ice Cream. That other guy is not on top of my mind anyway. And Cool As Ice Cream is 1 of our beloved (geezz, I have to puke now…) members.
ArthurSpectatorbut, if i buy this one ill 3 mint condition (1 still sealed) copy’s of the vynil, so i can sell one if he wants to …..

Talking about being a collector, wow!If you ever go to Schiphol, he works in the Taxfree Shops section (See Fly Buy?), in the Free Record Shop. If you want I could give it a try and bring you in contact with him. Unlike eBay, SPfreaks asks no commission.
ArthurSpectatorim going to buy it for sure
but ill check the matrix codes[/quote:28ukagp8]
You’re to greedyInteresting find anyway Lara. For the moment I’m presuming it’s a genuine release. If you would be able to provide good scans after you bought it (see for example http://www.spfreaks.com/?page=COLLDETAILS&item=1100 ) then we can give it a proper entry for you in the SPfreaks Collection. Thanks!
ArthurSpectatorLara, can you confirm the matrix codes? And are you going to buy it? Otherwise I know somebody I recently met (Dutch guy working at the Free Record Shop @ Schiphol Airport Amsterdam, he happens to be a huge Smashing Pumpkins fan, he went to Pinkpop to see them, and he is looking for this MCIS vinyl, a numbered version though…) that might be interested.
ArthurSpectatorCool As Ice Cream is referring to the following codes on the vinyl itself, close to the label: HUTTLP 30 A-1-1-1, HUTTLP 30 B-1-1-1, HUTTLP 30 C-1-1-1 etc.
ArthurSpectatoroh yeah, about the different cd releases. so far we only had the european 3-track version confirmed.
today i found out that there’s also an american 2-track release. this release is already mentioned on spfc.org too.i bought one today on ebay, so unless someone beats me to it, i’ll give you scans and more info when it arrives in about a week (i hope).[/quote:15zyo0k2]
Found 1 on eBay also (the only one available it looked to me) so I hope no one outbids me the next day. Fingers crossed…
ArthurSpectatorHey Lara, nice to see you here. Welcome on board! Just a quick note of what I can find about it (as this unnumbered release is not on our SPfreaks site yet to compare the pics), but this is what SPFC says.
\"In late 1998, the MCIS 3LP was repressed. The new pressing is unnumbered (leaving the number box empty), and the sleeve is made of flimsier material.\"
As the one you just saw today doesn’t have the number box, you either found a slightly different version of this 1998 repress, or a bootleg indeed. I couldn’t tell more I’m afraid. But I’m sure 1 of the hardcore vinyl collectors here will fully answer this soon. There are quite a few here on this little board already.
In the meantime maybe you could tell us if the vinyl labels of this unnumbered version are the same to your numbered version (colors, text, artwork)? And about the sleeve, did you notice anything particular/strange? Maybe your answers helps to detect the authenticity of this album.
ArthurSpectatorThePumpkins.net now says:
\"You know I’m not dead…\"
ArthurSpectatorYup, I would like to have them toad32r! Especially (or is it aspecially? hmmm…) the ones with the SPfreaks shirts you and your friend have been wearing. Did you manage to have them on a few pics? There’s also a sticky created in the other section you know, so you can upload them there also.
But you don’t need to send them on a CD-R, http://www.yousendit.com works fine also! Send to spfreaks@gmail.com if you like… Would be nice!
Arthur
ArthurSpectatorHey shampoo welcome to you also. I was on holiday till yesterday and though I could post sometimes on a little pda I forgot to welcome you when you jumped on board. Sorry for that. Hope you’re having fun here anyway! And I certainly agree with you, it’s great fun to listen to the live shows, the banter, and the new versions of songs like Heavy Metal Machine etc. Hey, see you around!
ArthurSpectatorLatest member YESH showed us in another post this YouTube video (thanks YESH! Welcome on this board! Come back anytime!). I think it says it all. Just to avoid any misunderstanding about this subject amongst our Guest readers and our beloved members, I think it’s wise to have that video here also. Think you all agree, right?

Yeah sorry. I had to much Indian curry and Chinese prawns lately. It obviously did something to my spelling checker. Hope it helps when I tell you I brought a huge box of Belgian chocolates as a gift for a guy over there. It was very much appreciated.

Nice… I just returned home from holiday a few hours ago (with 6 new SP cd’s, nothing special really, just some nice finds (though the Singapore Zeitgeist is worthwhile mentioning, and the Chinese Zeitgeist bootleg)), anyway, it looks like I have a lot to catch up.2007.10.24 at 8:53 am in reply to: Siamese Dream colored vinyl; 3 pressings or more? Yup, it is indeed.2007.10.24 at 7:59 am in reply to: For the freakin’ country collectors: Zeitgeist CD by country #2546
ArthurSpectatorif you look closely at the advertisement picture, it says something about "inside zeitgeist" and "in depth interview regarding the making of".
based on this, i’d guess it’s one of those interviews, maybe completed with some in-studio footage.
i also think live stuff would be the coolest.
they can also add the two video clips they already made.[/quote:dwp88kf5]
There is already some radio stuffs called Inside Smashing Pumpkins: Zeitgeist. We only have pics for the moment here:http://www.spfreaks.com/Default.aspx?pa … &item=1642
Argentinia? Not on my map. Most probably a bootleg?

ArthurSpectatorzeitgeist grey/silver is a bestbuy exclusive, apparently. it comes with 3 bonus tracks (would these be dfa, stellar and zeitgeist?) and a bonus dvd.
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp … id=1766267
i wonder if there will be a german release of this. just like they had a german release of the yellow and purple versions with bonus tracks, on amazon.de and in that mueller store chain. i think it was amazon.de that had the same version as bestbuy.com (the yellow one), so i guess they would be the one having the grey one as well…[/quote:3cdrc7qj]
Good news, I mean collector-wise… When I saw that grey artwork on sp.com, it looked like an official upload instead of some fanmade thingy. And… they have the dvd anyway, which is cool news also! What are the bets for the dvd? Fillmore live compilation? 2007 tour snippets? Zeitgeist track by track interview? Earphoria II?There were a few moments I thought the bonus dvd could contain the Zeitgeist track by track interview as in September a Warner inhouse dvd surfaced (from Europe if I’m right, telling this by head, I haven’t properly uploaded it yet, though it is on it already, but I received it not so long before my holiday) but anyway, this dvd contains a track called "Generic EPK". Normally EPK means Electronic Press Kit. It is a 12-13 minutes version of the Zeitgeist track by track interview. I haven’t properly looked at it as the vinyl and price guide stuffs came inbetween… Maybe it’s going to be stuffed in the bonus material of the dvd’s?
Talking about vinyl, it’s about time they release the Zeitgeist vinyl also…
But my bet goes to a lot of live material. Hopefully full songs instead of snippets. The best would be a complete show, including Gossamer, Heavy Metal Machine (new version), Superchrist, and some more cool stuffs. We’ll see, I’m happy anyway!
PS nice pic that Zeitgeist collection
ArthurSpectatorsome colour variations of the 7":[/quote:1xgtf2rn]
Wow. My goodness! I’m getting a Siamese Dream syndrome here. Do I recognize pink, red, blue and blueish-purple here (my little pda might fool me a bit…)? Another thingy to correct next week as we state "purple vinyl" only so far. Nice finds! Can we wait for your scans Cool As Ice Cream, or do we need to use those pics? Somehow I expect them to be in your collection soon, right?2007.10.18 at 12:19 am in reply to: How To Grade & Value Smashing Pumpkins 7\" vinyl rarities? #3818
ArthurSpectatorHe’s waiting until he’s told how he can help. I thought we were waiting until the vinyl section was completely updated. And then, I don’t know. Tell me?[/quote:2hlw2249]
Ah ok, sorry for the misunderstanding. I was hoping it all was kinda clear already. The plans were:-Ask Shawn/Aaron (done)
-Create Grade-Value fields (done)
-Update 7" section (done)
-Enter prices for 7" section
-Work from there…All things done were announced in this thread. I think we have reached the "Enter prices for 7" section" stage. When Shawn could provide us an updated list of the 7" values now (incl. 2 Zwan singles I remember, ahem…) that will be entered then, and discussed here.
After we like what we see, or change/delete/update what we don’t like, we continue with the 10" and the 12".
