Mwoah, no fail at all, I think. There will be lots of bids I’m quite sure.

But I don’t want it either, to be honest!

Hahaha, you’re sharp! No, it landed on Friday, but we were not home so they gave the box to our neighbours instead, and the mailman left a note in our mailbox about that. But on Friday night and almost the whole of Saturday our neighbours were not at home also. I checked a few times. But last night at around 22:00 the lady of the house finally came to our door to deliver it. That’s why I post about it on a Sunday morning…

By the way, did you throw in those yellow USPS cards \"Authorization to Hold Mail\"? I thought it was a splendid ironical joke!

Yeah, I know that one, but had not looked at it for a long time. Cool, brings back some memories why we started this website… Because others were either not complete, nor detailed enough. I stil have that very first email of Thomas Jones from the UK, dated October 2002… lol!

Did you by accident came across Derek his old website too? Pumpkinography.com or something?

i would bid, just to be a part of history. i wouldn’t win though. :([/quote:2xcjc9l1]
Same here, not when it is Machina II though, but when it is an original set of Mashed Potatoes…

shipping was quite high (more than $15 – wtf?), so i didn’t bid very high…[/quote:lwer05ob]
I command you to feel sorry now. :P

It went for super duper cheap after all, it is quite rare, and it contains 6 cds in a rather big & nice plastic fold out sleeve. It’s not your average cd in a jewelbox that is shipped for 6 dollar, you know… You were too stingy, and missed out on a nice item. Just my humble opinion.

\"In 2010, the Pumpkins performed three runs of dates in the U.S. plus shows in Asia, Australia, New Zealand and South America. Asked about the band’s touring plans for 2011, CORGAN says: \"We had no plans of going on the road this year, but now we may go to Europe in the fall, and if that happens, we’ll play a few select dates in America.\"\"

If they visit Holland, Belgium, Denmark or Germany (West-side, hopefully), I will definately go see them. I might even consider London… depending the incoming cashflow at that moment.

Too bad that Jeff, Mike & Nicole aren’t as talented as Papa M, Sweeney & Jimmy. :?[/quote:2payvqqx]
I know what you mean. I do like the current setup and its’ long term potential (and most of their Teargarden songs), but Zwan could have created Siamese Dream II. True, they didn’t, because they broke up rather quickly, so we will never know. But for the moment, I don’t see that happen either with Smashing Pumpkins Mark IV or V yet, whatever Nicole says on her blog. But I love to be surprised someday…

    @Honeymade Opiate: thnx. 8)

I remember seeing them live in the 1980’s, and I was blown away. When Urban Dance Squad played on the same bill, they inspired Rage Against The Machine to do what made them famous later in the 1990’s… RATM had the courtesy to admit this.

This song I like very much too.

    It is. :P

When I look closely to that little pic of the promo, it says something like Recorded & Mixed Live in Paris 10.06.94. Songs from the same gig were put on the Candy Strip Experience single. Na ja… but it’s still a nice find, this rare French promo. 8)

Haha, thanks Sauli, for your research! You’re cool!

But yeah, you’re right, the song is available indeed (I have those 2 releases you linked in my UDS collection), but I should have said \"is not available on any other release in this live version\". Before I bought this funny promo, I even noticed that Discogs doesn’t even mention this promo… So I was a bit like… hmmm, I don’t know… But it seems to be a very rare, but genuine Virgin France release. And it seems to contain a never released live version of Boyz in bandz (and Demagogue, but that song is widely available, it was 1 of their hit singles). I’ll check it out when I receive it. It might be the Candy Strip Experience version anyway.

Anyway, thanks again Sauli! You’re quite the researcher!
