ArthurSpectatorI’m trying to be there more often, but I’m quite busy sometimes.
It’s always cool to meet you guys there, that’s for sure! I hit up with Derek (US) and Debby (NZ) a few days ago, and it was very nice, again.
ArthurSpectatorThe 2010/07/13 The National, Richmond is a pretty decent recording, and really worthwhile a listen of Smashing Pumpkins Mark IV (or is it V already?
).
This is the setlist of that gig.
A Song For A Son
Today
Astral Planes
Freak
Hummer
Bleeding The Orchid
Bullet With Butterfly Wings
Ava Adore
Owata
United States
Disarm
Tarantula
Stand Inside Your Love
Eye
Tonight, Tonight
GossamerAnd Derek told me, the Charlotte gig a few days later was his best Smashing Pumpkins show ever!
ArthurSpectatorHehehe, I could take a lot of junk food till the 40’s somewhere, but not anymore, I’m afraid. I was over 100 kg, but now I watch out a little more and quickly returned to 90-93 kg as per today. I stopped with the french fries, mayonaise, chocolates, hamburgers and etc. Not that I feel that much better, but somehow it makes a little difference, somehow. Funny thing is, I appreciate the little treats (like Danishes, for example) much more.
ArthurSpectatorHere’s mine anyways: http://www.recordnerd.com/lists/voidhanger[/quote:dcvis0s4]
I get a grin browsing that list…Just the first few cds as an example, the title of the record and the label…
"Blood Bath In The Acid – Headache Records"
"Never-ending Black Torrent Of Death – Todestrieb Records"
"Sacraments Of The Final Atrocity – Morbid Wrath"
"Ultimate Unholy Death – Nuclear War Now! Productions"I wished I lived a little nearer, so I could visit you, and you might be so kind maybe, to let me have a listen to all of this… A visit of 1.5 week would do, I hope?
No seriously, that is an almighty collection, my friend. Be proud of it, and enjoy!

ArthurSpectatorZero? Wake up!
[/quote:1ze6lli3]
Huh? (yawns)
ArthurSpectatorI’m in the chatroom in a few seconds!
ArthurSpectatorSupernova?
ArthurSpectatorI’ve added Spangled to the list, another new song.
And marigold is right, the shows were allowed to be taped (I have most of them), but the rehearsals for those shows were not allowed to be taped… Smashing Pumpkins played Baby on 2010/04/17 Space 15 Twenty, Los Angeles, during the show. According SPLRA that show was taped by several visitors, but unfortunately, those recordings have not surfaced yet…
ArthurSpectatorHehehe, nice! But no, I don’t have my whole collection on there. I only keep track of my SP stuffs here. Nice browsing through your collection, though. A lot of variety, I have to say
ArthurSpectatorSorry… bloody time differences!
Just woke up, have to go to work in a bit. Must be lonely in the chatroom, like it was yesterday?
ArthurSpectatorI’m hoping for As Rome Burns.
ArthurSpectatorHey wawijr, welcome to this freaky forum, and thanks for your nice and long review, and pics!
I really liked these pics you took (the new bass player is hotttt!
):
ArthurSpectatorAnd what about this one!

ArthurSpectatorI’m in there now. Someone care for a chat?
ArthurSpectatorit’s growing on me[/quote:2039hqoz]
Same here. I’m playing it over and over today again. I’m gonna try to promote it on 3FM radio here in NL.
ArthurSpectatorGotta admit that Tom Paxton is Genius, and Seeger is of course great performer and probably greatest storyteller in history of music.[/quote:3ix4xq9l]
Not admitting that just like that, but it inspired me to start listening to Fats.

ArthurSpectatoryes.. EMI will surely handle this task…
Probably make remasters from old albums and add couple of unreleased songs here and there…[/quote:vasjrzvc]
Ahem… "I have given up on the old music business."So yeah, another quote Billy wouldn’t want to remember anymore, when that happens… Let’s pray for a double album Pisces Iscariot II, or something like that.
ArthurSpectatorI was in a Ted Nugent mood tonight.

ArthurSpectatorVoting has ended for my car, and with 149 votes I’m #7 of my category at the moment. Every first 10 from each category will go to the next round, and at least win some prize, so I’m safe for the moment.
However, big dasappointment! Someone just asked me about the rules and etc., and when I read the full version… it says \" Toyota Racing’s Sponsafy Your Ride Contest (the âPromotionâ) is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia …. bla bla bla\".
ArthurSpectatorah, that reminds me. the regular us edition of zeitgeist doesn’t have matrix codes yet in the spfreaks collection. instead it says "sealed". i wanted to look this up recently, when i was away from home, and "came home from a bald journey," as they say here in belgium.
regular release: http://www.spfreaks.com/default.aspx?pa … &item=1475
with promo stamp: http://www.spfreaks.com/default.aspx?pa … &item=2071the matrix code is the same as on the promo cd, except that it has IFPI 2U6E instead of IFPI 2U7P. (i also noticed that the other ifpi code, ifpi L909, is present twice on both cds.)
can this be added?
[/quote:3p6dr6il]
Bram, can you please check if I corrected it in a good way?
ArthurSpectatorYeah. 2 persons put me on facebook, and that helped also.
ArthurSpectatorLast few hours… a friend in Ukrain spread the link to some friends so I jumped quickly to 107 votes!
ArthurSpectatorI like what you did with the back of the car.
[/quote:3sqis08t]
Finally someone noticed!
That slogan alone should win a price, right?Last day to vote for my car, hope I stay firmly on page 2 indeed.
ArthurSpectatori didn’t know this expression isn’t used in the netherlands.[/quote:1iq19dl7]
We use "van een koude kermis thuiskomen" instead. In English that would be "returning home from a cold fair", and basically it means exactly the same… -
