AnonymousSpectatordo you actually have Mashed Potatoes Dazey?
thats really awesome if you do.
[/quote:2ifokvi4]
Only at Ma’s sometimes, with sausages, peas and carrotts. Sometimes, gravy too.
To answer m’s question: I’ll say my signed Catherine ‘Songs About Girls’ 7", as it was handled by D’Arcy herself personally (still has her DNA! Off to the Lab!) and also "other people who have hung out and worked with Billy Corgan."
Mark Rew (Rewster) from the now Buglette (http://www.myspace.com/bugletteband) confirmed it was authentic, so there’s my HG.
This, or my standard Gish CD, as that’s what I play most when in Pumpkins Mode.
AnonymousSpectatorPlease could I d/l these also, m?
I’d like to give ’em a whirl myself, if possible.
AnonymousSpectatorI was created in a sterile Laboratory, aboard this strange craft from many light years away.
My current form’s a lady named Shirley, hopefully Mother won’t notice.
AnonymousSpectatorJust my authentic Mashed Potatoes boxset, I don’t really have anything else that’d fit the description.
AnonymousSpectatorLooks like 2008’s an SP year to remember.

AnonymousSpectatorDazey, I have that track in .mp3 somewhere, if that’s any use?
Thanks for offering, I’d rather hope for a .flac sometime.
Okay, no problem.
AnonymousSpectator^
AnonymousSpectatorVery nice item.
I can see this clearing $1,000+ in the last bidding minutes.
AnonymousSpectatorWireless.
Trick or treat?
AnonymousSpectatorPhewie, how Billy changes in different lighting.
But seriously, I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh-woh-oh-oh.

AnonymousSpectator‘Ol Veronie’s pushing her luck, it seems.
If I can’t visit this site, I go here: http://hipstersunited.com/blog
After that, to \"scanned items // spfreaks.com\" on the right side. This seems to bypass the problem each time for me.

AnonymousSpectatorWell, it was a so-so result, here’s the last lines of the email they sent through:
\"While we were impressed with your modelling portfolio, unfortunately there’s an over-feminine aspect which doesn’t really work for us.
Please do not let this discourage you from further attempts.\"
I’ll give it a miss, if I’m not what they’re looking for, then their loss and more prestigious modelling will call for me.
Sometime I’ll just take on Kate Moss, we’re very similar, apparently aside from height differences.
I think it was an ‘exposure trick’ he used for the photo, b. Something along the lines of not quite developing it fully, cutting the ‘process’ short.
Ordered my wings from a reputable Retailer, anyway.

AnonymousSpectatori thought Torrents sites were dangerous.i mean spyware, virus etc etc.Or am im completly wrong here ?

That’s a great point you’ve brought up… I can only speak for the Zomb, who are real gems to deal with and I’ve never had a single issue (I’ve never dealt with anybody else before). I was personally invited there and will always deal with them happily.
I’d guess, that, yes, there’s a lot out there which might be dangerous though. Maybe somebody with more experience can give an opinion sometime.
AnonymousSpectatorim down dazey. lets do this. your talking about burning them to cd and shipping them right? i dont want to just download them.[/quote:37m4zuol]
Yeah, I’m fine with that if you are, sweet ‘n easy. I’ll leave it up to you, I always back up what I promise, so bring it awn.
AnonymousSpectatorok, here’s what i want…
zero gravity, there is no god, transmissions, drown, sorrow and pity, california nightmare, retrospective, mcis demos 2 and 3, and black sessions.here’s what i have…
disconnect, the mellon collie demos, billy’s home demos, acoustic melon songs, daydream kisses, live at the double door (mellon clooie songs they were trying out before recording the album. one of my favorite bootlegs), friends and enemies of moders music (not machine ii), non album songs volumes 1,2,and 3, and the return of the mighty sp (a very high quality live show from october ’07. someone on ebay had it. i dont know where they got it.so, thats my list[/quote:16kqw32s]
Nice. How about a trade, no £$ involved?
I’d like: ‘Live At The Double Door’ and ‘The Return Of The Mighty SP’ on disc.
In return, I’d send you: Zero Gravity, Drown, Retrospective and Black Sessions…
Alternatively, there’s Torrents of several still live here, under the Username ‘daZeychain.’

^ There were four pages’ worth upped over the last year, only two remain due to a server problem.
PM/email an address if the first choice appeals to you, then I’ll honour your word that you’d send yours out also.
Is there anything in particular you’d want from that spfc weblink, b? The same offer/s appy to you.
AnonymousSpectatorWhat bullett said…
Which type, titles, etc?
I might be able to help you with some for low prices (covering costs and so on), assuming it’s this kind of thing (mostly silver-bottomed discs):

AnonymousSpectatoryo, i have that Perfect single. bought it around the time Adore was out.
shit, didn’t realize this stuff was going for $26… i paid like $6 for mine, and the cd kind of blows.
the b-sides they put out on the Ava Adore single were decent — or at least ‘Once In Awhile’ was a really good song. the other one, czarina, or whatever, yeah, don’t listen to that song ever.
and ‘summer’, from the Perfect single… blech. just blech. with b-sides (just like deleted scenes on DVDs), sometimes it’s like, \"wow, that shoulda been left in\" other times it’s like \"wow, can’t always write brilliance, maybe shoulda left this one on the cutting room floor\".
so yeah, sorry to rain on your parade, but that Perfect single sucks. maybe i should sell mine on eBay…
AnonymousSpectatorClones (We’re All) as best cover FTW
AnonymousSpectatorthey played thru the eyes of ruby when the played Radio City in 98.
AnonymousSpectatoryou know, it really does seem like a good idea to me for the Pumpkins to focus on doing singles and EPs right now.
with the industry what it is, and distribution considerations what they are, the Pumpkins are going to do the best business by being a touring band.
the music they release will serve to grow the fan base and provide them with instant feedback on the product they’re delivering.
as a working artist, probably what i’ve respected most about Mr. Corgan over the years have been his understanding that the art, the craft, is a business. He has a talent. A skill, and uses it to make a living. and he’s reading the market right.
so turn as much of a profit as is possible from product distribution, which is less than what it used to be, but doesn’t require a label to do, and make the bulk of the income from touring.
and when they come to Philly, I’ll always be there. i went to three of the four nights they were in town last.
and i’ll boo Billy again. enthusiastically. but only if he mentions in any way shape or form something that is negative towards, about or concerning the Eagles. and i have a place in my heart for the Bears. I don’t hate them. but you’re not allowed to celebrate their win over the Eagles in Philadelphia. EVER. especially not on the night the day of the game.
oh, and one other thing, about the recording of the music. seriously, they need to work with Butch Vig again. just fucking try it, please, i am begging the smashing pumpkins.
or if not, replicate that PRODUCTION. not the whole sound. THE VOCAL PRODUCTION. especially the double tracking of the vocals. it’s such a cool fucking sound, and so MUCH BETTER SOUNDING THAN ANY OTHER VOCAL PRODUCTION OF BILLY CORGAN’S VOICE SINCE.
and yes, the all-caps is because i want that to stand out from the rest of the text. and besides, that kind of production makes the live show more unique because the singing is so different from the ethereal quality of the recording.
/end stump session of the moment
