Praise. Cloud nine, if you ask me. Beautiful story bullet, really. Well written, maybe for a bit younger aged audience, nevertheless I loved reading it at age 40+. Making those guys \"disappear\" faster and faster gives excitement and tension to the story, and at the end of what you published here, I’m getting very curious what is happening, why have they moved to this other world. The conversations between persons flow nicely, like in real life I guess, and also the things they do seem natural. I would say, a (more than) pretty nice start of a science fiction children’s novel, am I correct?

The only critics I have is a typo I found: \"besuty\". Big deal… (not).

And don’t ask me if you will have a chance to get this published, because I wouldn’t know. You deserve it if it was to me, but I’m not involved in the publishing area…

Keep it up, this fan wants to read the next chapters! :D

Very tempting offer Arthur, but I cannot guarantee finding another copy, so it would not be fair to take your CD. Are you after any other Australian pressings? I can keep my eye out.

    Bryan[/quote:3pa0is0n]
Yeah I am actually. This is my Australian pressings wantlist:

    -1979 Mixes
    -Zero
    -Thirty-Three (3 track cardsleeve release!)
    -Perfect (3 track single)
-Stand Inside Your Love (2 track single)

    Also I’m looking for

-Soiled Gold Hits, a bFM compilation with Set The Ray To Jerry on it
-The Trip 2 – Consider the Alternative with Cherub Rock on it

These compilations are Made In New Zealand if I’m right. Would be pretty cool if you ever found 1 or some of it Bryan! Oh and I traded That’s The Way (My Love Is) AU promo already with kittykat, so that’s off the list.

Shall I change the title from \"Someone can read Thai?\" to \"Someone can eat Thai?\"?

I love spicy Thai food also, Asian food in general to be honest.

more promo’s there, huh, wonder why?[/quote:2wupvwpy]
Really, I have no idea. I have seen 2 or 3, maybe 4, Zeitgeist Thailand promos already on eBay, and nowhere a standard release to be found. However, a while back I met a trustworthy contact in Thailand, and he’s sending me some things every now and then. Pretty cool. All EMI Thailand cassette albums (sealed!), from Gish to Earphoria and everything inbetween. This Zeitgeist CD. Next thing coming up: Earphoria DVD, made in Thailand. Awesome!

well in theory it would work, but in reality i don’t think so.

but a few days at arthurs w/ the pumpkins would be awesomeness![/quote:nnp38liu]

I second that, both statements of yours. And for some reason I think the Pumpkins would love to do such thing also. Different setting maybe, but having fun with a little group of serious people that are not screaming "wow I adore all of you! and Billy is god!" all the time, and passing along some of their knowledge, I think almost all of them are into that. It would be the best 3 days in my life Pumpkins-wise I guess. Maybe in a quiet period when they are not touring nor recording…

3 Days Rock Campus… Billy, Jimmy, are you reading this maybe? Can we humbly ask your cooperation for this? 8)

I don’t know these interviews, but talking about interviews anyway, this piece I found on Billboard.com, inside an interview about the Virgin thingy. Billy was questioned on the phone while in Australia about a month ago.

\"That won’t stop the band from offering unreleased music to fans before the year is out. Potentially in the pipeline are ultra-rare early Smashing Pumpkins shows, studio tracks that have never seen the light of day or alternate versions of songs from sessions that spawned classic albums like \"Siamese Dream\" and \"Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.\"

The group, which is now a free agent after the expiration of its one-album deal with Warner Bros., is also conceptualizing the gradual release of new music in bundles, culminating in an eventual album project. \"We may start to release pieces as we go along, and the album comes out over two to three years,\" says Corgan, who labels this period as both \"fun\" and \"exciting.\"

After a summer break, look for the Pumpkins to return to the road in September for shows in New York, Los Angeles and its Chicago hometown.\"

Ah well, just bring together a bunch of nice people, I’m not excluding anybody…

And yes, my appartment of 120 m2 would do I guess for this small (& educational, yes bullet, see my programme below  ) gathering, when we have around 25 people showing up.

Programme for this 3 days Rock Campus

Day 1, morning: breakfast & meet ‘n’ greet with Smashing Pumpkins
Day 1, morning: bass workshop with Ginger
Day 1, lunch: includes speech of Billy about the making of a rock song
Day 1, afternoon: drums workshop with Jimmy
Day 1, dinner: includes favourite snacks of Jeff
Day 1, night: first acoustic gig of Smashing Pumpkins
Day 1, late night: after party

Day 2, morning: songwriting workshop with Billy
Day 2, lunch: includes speech of Jimmy, about how to cooperate together in a band
Day 2, afternoon: guitar workshop with Jeff
Day 2, dinner: includes Ginger’s most favourite Mexican recipe
Day 2, night: second acoustic gig of Smashing Pumpkins
Day 2, late night: after party

Day 3, morning: piano & keyboards workshop with Lisa and Billy
Day 3, lunch: includes questening the band
Day 3, afternoon: teams of 5 each write and practise a song with individual bandmembers
Day 3, dinner: in restaurant of choice
Day 3, night: third semi-acoustic rock show performance of Smashing Pumpkins
Day 3, late night: encores with teams’ songs
Day 3, late late night: after party

Is this educational enough, and to everybody’s likings?

My newest suggestion would be: inhouse Smashing Pumpkins concert at my place for everybody with 25 posts or more here on the boards. Free flights and free food, drinks and lodging included.

My cunning plan for gettin’ the money: we call it a \"3 day Rock Campus\" and write letters to our governments and Universities everywhere to sponsor it for 2500 people (can we help it that less then 25 only show up? Guess not huh? ). We will then put Post-It notes with the sponsors’ names on the fridge in the kitchen. Duty done. And 3 days fun will be there! 8)

Yeah, thats a lot of money for some baseball shirt.

So, you wouldn’t buy $175,100 worth of Pumpkin stuff, Arthur?[/quote:1logzub0]
What Pumpkins item would be that expensive?

I thinks it’s more fun to organize a secret Smashing Pumpkins concert in US or EU for 150 SPfreaks members max, and fly all of us in for 4 days of "Pumpkins’ Rock & Acoustic Party". That would be a good cause also for that amount of money, right?

(Keep on dreaming Arthur… )

Just curious kittykat… Is this website being helpful to you in selling your collection?

Could you maybe update us what is sold and what is not?

Looks cool blueczarina! Bit politically incorrect, using the Arising! font on a 2000 concert, but who cares?

Will you scan it and send it in for the collection later, when you received it? Would be nice…

And I managed, with lots of help from my best friend in the US (you know who you are  ), to get this top 3 rarity from my wantlist. It was a pretty close call, let me tell you… I never expected to get it anymore, as it is extremely rare. It wasn’t even on the SPfreaks website yet! I’m :D all over now!

Boy oh boy, what a great weekend this is, together with kittykat’s stuffs…

and congratulations, arthur, on scoring that perfect promo. i wanted that so bad, but i’m happy for you. :([/quote:7d926si7]

    I guess it’s my lucky day today…

Mellon Collie jukebox went my way also, and all 4 of them cost me 11,21 bucks ex shipment.[/quote:7d926si7]
Like I said a few minutes ago…

Thank you Cool As Ice Cream. I was REALLY lucky here, because I woke up this morning at 7:15 somewhere, made myself a coffee and a breakfast and refreshed the forum posts a bit later before I went to go shower. Normally I try to welcome the new members asap, and kittykat posted this just a few minutes before that… I have never seen that Perfect promo before. Must be pretty rare I guess. Also very happy with that BBC disc of course.

And I’m pretty sure I left you guys enough goodies, you should see his whole collection list. Dazey, this list of kittykat contains as much booties as genuine rarities, I think you should check it out also. Also I’m glad kittykat didn’t go somewhere else first to offer this extremely cool collection. He could have gone to eBay also you know… (Why didn’t you, kittykat?)

On a sidenote, today I had a nice chit-chat with kittykat, as he happened to know 1 of the other founders of SPfreaks also…

    kittykat, you rock! 8)
