SuperlordspamulonSpectatorI love uTorrent, and when you search with it you can select from a number of sites, thepiratebay being one of them. I’m going to choose that one from now on, with all that good word about it.[/quote:19ns9czi]
Not all torrents are on TPB though. Use others too. I also use mininova.
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorWell, don’t worry about TPB. It is THE biggest bittorrent tracker on the internet, it is very well known, and very reliable. Read the comments as well – people tend to say if they find a virus in the files. But on the whole, music files aren’t gonna come with viruses. It’s too hard work to make the virus start. But if you’re unsure, run a virus scan once the downloaded files have finished.
But yes – TPB is trustworthy as a site. Never had a problem with it.
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorI don’t really have much to contribute, but rather a small recent anecdote.
I think i’ve finally properly gotten over my ex (christ, its been over a year since she dumped me. It took long enough), but only by having my feelings be redirected to a girl who is three years older than me, lives nowhere near me, and is a lesbian. But whatever, she’s awesome.
And I don’t have many feelings of despair because i’m not with her and all that jazz, but more feelings of ‘happiness’ (sort of) when I think of her. She’s just this really awesome girl. She’s also inspired me to try and change my fashion sense. Make it a bit more interesting.
In conclusion: love is a fickle bitch.
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorIs piratebay easy t o use? I am a little intimated by that site
don’t want to get hauled off to jail or something
like the guns n’ roses blogger/music thief/distributor[/quote:3kec6d69]Very easy to use. Search for something, find a good torrent with seeders, click link, download torrent file, voila!
And I highly doubt you’ll get hauled off to jail. It is extremely unlikely. VERY few users have ever been arrested/had action taken against them for using p2p programs. You’re just going through the new-to-p2p paranoia.
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorI think being caught naked in the rain would suck!!![/quote:33iz89wk]
Yeah, I think it’s the ‘naked’ part of it that makes the experience unpleasant.
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorI checked and didn’t see those ones for under that-oh well..I’ll still keep looking…
I really want to get one by the end of September[/quote:391i28r9]Huh. Seems like they were snapped up very quickly then!
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorwhy thank ya superlord. hehe, it was a silly post, but i was kind of shocked it actually worked for me.
i was using u torrent i think.[/quote:3ljdznig]
No problem I guess.A couple of good sites you may like
thepiratebay.org
mininova.org
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorWow that’s a steal
lucky-I am still trying to find it at the right price and not missing shit…[/quote:1pi2y55n]Amazon.co.uk!
There were TWO for under £30.
And one for ~£44, and some more above £50.
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorWoohoo! I just (finally) ordered TAFH!
I got it (exculuding P+P) for under £30 as well
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorOMG, i actually successfully downloaded my first torrent file. i know its not a big deal to most of you guys, but you know i have never been able to do it before so i’m excited. yay!
plus it only took about an hour. also yay!
[/quote:nyy0yrl5]
Congrats? What client are you using, because some clients limit your d/l speed if you don’t put your seed speed up high enough.
Torrent files are useful..[/quote:nyy0yrl5]
YES
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorHaha, this is kinda like H.I.M titling their album ‘Love Metal’ – the genre they’ve essentially created for themselves.
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorHey, I didn’t even know that Burton was remaking AIW! That will be awesome!
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorI believe Brainiac: Science Abuse did an experiment based on that. I believe the result was that you ended up about the same wetness.
Although running would get you out of the rain quicker, so it is favorable.
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorits this dumb poetry analysis class i have to take. the class would be alright i suppose (subject wise), but i have one of those teachers that wants us to sit in a dumb circle and discuss the pretty poems, and keep a poetry journal, and talk about our feelings, and other lame bullshit.[/quote:3cb3x8um]
Am I the only person who thinks that, given the right class mates, that would be fucking awesome?
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorWoohoo!
Hello again! Great that you’re back, and great that you’re better?
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorNot really sure.
But it’ll probably have to be 1979
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorSo I’m back from the Reading Festival (I was back last night, but it was midnight and I needed sleep)
It was awesome, but I felt pretty shitty during some of it. Not enough sleep, heat, exhaustion etc. But I got better in time for the last band.
Speaking of which.
Rage
Against
The
MachineFUCK YES
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorWHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!?
I WAS ONLY AWAY FOR ONE FREAKING DAY!!!
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorThanks.
Oh, and I’m going to the Reading Festival tomorrow
SuperlordspamulonSpectator
SuperlordspamulonSpectatormaybe i should get it.[/quote:2o3c6hcf]
Yes. Yes you should.
SuperlordspamulonSpectatornot bad…kinda like them, but they still don’t move me like the Pumpkins do[/quote:18bxa0el]
Haha, of course not. I mean, this topic isn’t a competition to find a band that we unanimously agree to be better than SP!
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorNo posts here for a while!
A band I’m gonna recommend is Kill Hannah. For those who don’t know/have never heard of them, they’re based in Chicago (side note – Billy himself has called them the future of rock music in Chicago!) and have this new-wave, poppy goth type thing going on. They’re pretty damn addictive too!
Kennedy (Ignore the fact that this isn’t an official vid. Just enjoy the music!)

Boys and Girls

Just a few of their songs, btw.
*Edit* whoops, forgot a song I was going to show. Strange, considering that I’m absolutely addicted to it. Oh well.

SuperlordspamulonSpectatorHey guys, use anjo.to
It works better than vixy.net
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorOops, I need to apologize to you Superlord. I rechecked a little on the artwork, and under a certain angle of my laptop screen it shows clearly that printing will go terribly wrong, with lots of blurry stuffs everywhere. That is too cheap, even for me! Funny thing is, that isn’t visible when the screen is standing straight up. Geezz, I didn’t realize that Paint does such things!
I’ll try to redo it tonight. It will be low resolution anyway, but what software would you advice to use Superlord?[/quote:77vqy64p]
Photoshop, Fireworks etc. Although PS you have to pay for, and FW has been discontinued…
Use the GIMP instead. I mentioned it in another thread, it’s free.
And make sure you save the files as a PNG. It’s lossless quality. It’s really a useful format.
