SuperlordspamulonSpectatorwhat kind of reception did it get?[/quote:2nnzuxrh] I guess it depended on how high he threw it
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorI can honestly say i’ve never seen a tour poster in the UK.
Tour ads, yeah, but not posters. I don’t even think they bother
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorPipoka?
It’s Cupid de locke, not cupid thelocke
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorisn’t try (v1) already a b-side of untitled???
AHA! disqualified!
(same goes for set the ray to jerry)[/quote:328eqv3h]
Damn me and my lack of knowledge regarding SP’s discography!
I didn’t know that…
Ok, you guys are gonna have to use your imagination a bit here, but where-ever it says Try, Try, Try (Version 1) in my previous entry, can you kinda imagine it changed to "Speed Kills (But Beauty Lives Forever)", unless that was already a b-side (which i get the feeling it is), then change it to "Go". Actually, just change it to "Go"
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorHow come I still haven’t received my ticket to the Den Bosch?
[/quote:3gf68b70]
You can never be sure when your tickets will arrive.
I recently ordered tickets to see Aiden in april, and was told that at the latest, the tickets would arrive 48 hours before the show.
They usually delay when they send out the tickets to reduce the number making their way to ebay.
Also, did you buy yours off a reputable seller (i.e well known ticket selling websites etc), or some shady online dealer? if it was the latter, there may be a chance you were conned.
SuperlordspamulonSpectator(I forgot about this comp – better submit the entries i made a few weeks back… and i realize the artwork is kinda similar to Pipoka’s one, but that’s what reminded me of this one)
Single: Real Love
B-side: Try, Try, Try (Version 1)
Format: CD

SuperlordspamulonSpectatorI just gave the new EP a listen, and I must say… I like it very much. It has a lot of the Zeitgeist feel, it is (semi-) acoustic, both of which I’m not into too much, only to a certain level, and Ma Belle made way more impact… Still, I like it. This being said by a person that almost only likes the good ol’ epic Pumpkins rockers… Congratulations, Billy and Jimmy![/quote:342nva9d]
I like it a lot too (thank you Arthur
). Especially Again, Again, Again. Reminds me of Tonight, Tonight. Has a similar sound, and the drumming in the chorus has the same vibe
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorOk, i’ve e-mailed it in.
For those of you who are impatient to see who covered what by SP, i shall reveal; Madina Lake covered Today. It’s actually quite an interesting cover. I’ll upload a .wma of it if anyone wants… (i use wma files, not mp3, when i’m ripping Cd’s as it’s about the same quality but smaller file size
)
*edit* here’s the wma. Judge for yourselves
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorSubmitting it shortly…
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorI got Sunny Day Real Estate’s album, ‘Diary’, a helluva lot of chocolate, some money and, best of all, a Playstation 3!
So i’ve basically forfeited my entire social life for the next god-knows-how-long so i can play Call Of Duty 4 online
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorDoes this category count for a compilation CD of covers, one of which is a SP cover?
Because i’ve got one of those…
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorbut i dont get it what comment is gothic?[/quote:zvljnnfg] Hmm… the hoplessness of the American government and America’s future? The darkness and Despair it’s been thrown into? i have no idea
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorWhy would Billy choose a title like "American Gothic" anyway?[/quote:1okrnwqu]
American Gothic is a painting;
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorBC/JC again or entire new group? Zeitgeist was not just Billy either, but curious about the involvement of two potential new members. Wondering if it will affect the music at all. Maybe it will be inconspicuous or subtle enough that no obvious difference is noted.[/quote:bv45nqof]
Personally i reckon it’s gonna be the whole group. Billy’s stress that it’s ‘We’ seems like it’s gonna be the group. He knows he has a reputation as a solo-artist-in-a-band approach to records, so by insisting that it’s ‘We’ not ‘I’ makes it seem to me that he’s involving the other members as well. Basically, he has his reputation, and needs to explicitly state that it’s not just him recording. Most bands don’t need to do this, but Billy does. Cuz of the reputation. I think I’m rambling.
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorWikipedia says that it’ll get a physical international release.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_G … kins_EP%29
And we all know how reliable wikipedia is when it comes to speculated info.
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorwhoa! That’s awesome!
Heh, i like that SP have not only used the font from the ‘nightmare before christmas’ (MCIS font), but have also included one of it’s characters on their posters (barrel – the kid with the lollipop)
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorWho are the collective We anyway?[/quote:3fwp9dzc] Not just Billy Corgan
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorThanks!
I’ll check and see if it’s gonna have a UK/EU release sometime, just to make sure
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorugh. don’t have itunes, don’t have credit card, gonna have to rely on someone uploading it and letting me d/l it for free
I’m annoyed about this…
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorCool!
But will the frontpage here be completely changed, as well as the layout etc.
Because i’m quite comfortable with those
SuperlordspamulonSpectatorFirstly it was probably recorded from the T.V, then ripped. Then youtube. It would seriously look so much better in real life.
